It outlines a range of interesting issues regarding changes in general, as well as paradigm shifts that occur in modern anthropological knowledge. The article analyzes historical origins of the cultural-anthropological paradigm in the sociophilosophical context. The study notes new directions of anthropology development as a science; it points out that sociocultural reality and its dynamic characteristics are studied within the postmodernity since the aspects of human connections and their environment were not studied within classical anthropological models previously. Modern anthropology can be described as a general anthropology with the numerous branching. Such a modern direction focuses on those integration features that allow to present humanity as a whole. This new direction, developing at the junction of philosophy and anthropological science in general, has developed certain criteria for scientific synthesis. Today, anthropology seeks to synthesize philosophical and scientific knowledge about a man into a single cognitive picture of the world based on the general scientific methods considering comprehensive and systematic approaches.

Aesthetic forms and spatial locations are studiet due to their belonging to the concept of contemporari art. The methodological approach is based on the works of Raphael Schacter (2017) and Tomasz Timko (2021), which reject the knowledge of graffiti through aesthetic characteristics, declaring the effectiveness of representation, which is capable of changing the tastes of the audience. The method of socio-cultural dynamics, with the help of which the specificity of artistic interventions during the studied period was determined, became important for the research. The analysis of the system-forming connections allowed the author to form a hypothesis about street art as a whole system, to distinguish its individual levels and to determine their characteristics.\u0000For the first time, a chronological periodization of street art as an aesthetic practice is proposed, which takes into account the motivation of the artist/group of artists, the characteristics of the association, the ideology of space and the attitude to publicity, multimedia forms of collaboration.\u0000The conducted analysis of artistic practices proves that the strategies of the cities in the West of Ukraine are flexible to the introduction of the latest culture, and the tactics of artists, marked by individualism and self-assertion at the end of the 20th century, in patience acquire the features of collectivity and intermediality. The city, as a working space, is seen as open for interaction according to the creative potential of artists and the community.

The article focuses on the hypothesis that these films can, however, be attributed to the current of European neo-modernist cinema. Such a conclusion is based on the study of the author's creative path, the perception of Pawlikowski's work abroad and, above all, on the aesthetics of the films discussed in the article.\u0000The theoretical basis for these conclusions are the works by Andre Bazin on the visual side and on the content of the films (ambiguity of the world presented in the films). The article concerns the concept of ‘realism’ in the theory of the French critic.\u0000The second basis for conclusions is the work by Rafał Syska on the film trend known as neo-modernism. Paweł Pawlikowski's works meet many of Syska's postulates and seem to represent a poorly described trend present in Polish cinematography. It is a look at Ida and the Cold War that has not been included in Polish film research so far.\u0000Pawlikowski's works are in many ways similar to some Polish productions from the 1960s. Such films are classified by Justyna Żelasko as modernist cinema, against the tradition that they are usually associated with the Polish Film School.\u0000The composition of the film frames was also analyzed in reference to the nostalgic fashion called ‘lomography’.

The article considers the content of such new cultural practices as culinary practices, night cultural and entertainment practices, participation in festive activities (Kyiv City Day, Independence Day, embroidery holiday, borsch, dumplings, Bouquet Kyiv Stage, etc.). These projects capture the transformation of the individuals’ value orientations in the styles of mass behavior, focusing on such important attributes as the sacralization of everyday life. (figure 7, 8, 14). It is stated in this article that these structures symbolise the Cosmos of the ancient people: rhombus in the centre of structure denotes the dungeon and four (eight) symbols on the periphery denote a certain sphere of life. Structures with four symbols on the periphery, which are more common in ornaments, denote the four goddesses. The principles of constitution of these goddesses are considered. Their images are formed from two rhombuses-a common rhombus, which denotes the dungeon (or vulva of the goddess), and a separate rhombus-head. The rhombus and rhombuses are connected by symbols, which are popularly called "ram horns" and "hearts". The author identifies them as the "hands" of the goddess and believes that they are used to form the "poses" of the goddesses. Three ornamental types of goddesses with different poses have been identified: the goddess in the "hands on hips" pose, the goddess in the "oranta" pose, and the goddess with hands in the shape of a "heart". The samples of ornaments, which are inherent in these poses, are considered. The heart-shaped goddess is identified as the vulva goddess, the hands-on-hips goddess as the head goddess, and the oranta goddess as the Great Goddess. It is argued that the study of the "poses" (hand shapes) of conventional figurines of goddesses can open up a new perspective in understanding the semantics of ornaments.

Some thirtyfour years later, he wrote a vivid memoir titled Pecherskie antiki (1883) in which he recounted Kyiv’s architecture, culture, and inhabitants. This article examines Leskov’s text — set in Kyiv and about Kyiv — beyond its autobiographical relevance. When viewed through the prism of historical and mythopoetic images of Kyiv circulating prior to and during Leskov’s stay in the city, the memoir reveals a hierarchy of signs, images, and archetypes. This hierarchy, as well as the role of Kyiv in its formation and proliferation, has been studied and theorized by scholars of Ukrainian literature, who termed this cultural phenomenon the Kyiv Text. Some of the attributes of the Kyiv Text are the oppositions of high/low, sacred/profane, form/amorphousness. Having a lifelong fascination with Kyiv, Leskov contributed to the literary tradition of the Kyiv Text through exploring additional oppositions, such as change/tradition and official/popular. His memoir Pecherskie antiki thus offers new historical and cultural insights into the Kyiv Text.

The latter is based upon Lotman’s concept of semiosphere and J. Keane’s notion of public sphere. Using Lotman’s idea of the nucleus, and Keane’s thougnt that “the old dominance of state-structured and territorially bounded public life mediated by radio, TV and newspapers is coming to an end”, and there are numerous public spheres formed around media outlets, it is suggested that, in a model presenting a public sphere as a set of elements, there is a special element, the generator, that communicates cultural content in the public sphere. It is presumed that all elements of a public sphere (texts of culture, media outlets etc), and the public sphere as a whole, have identities. A national cultural space is an aggregate of public spheres which share the national identity or are culturally compatible with it. Such a cultural space is linked to the national territory but not limited by it. The identity of a public sphere is not determined by its generator, although the correlation is strong.

Among all the Palaeolithic characters, perhaps the most mysterious and complex is the meander symbol that appeared in the 23rd millennium BC. Its semantic meaning remains a problem.\u0000The article aims at finding out what ideas about the world could position the sign of the meander in the Palaeolithic and comparing them with the characteristic of the zodiacal sign that dominated during the period of its appearance.\u0000Methods. The author used the method of semantic analysis of the meander symbols, viewing them in chronological sequence and the method of comparison to determine the conformity of the characteristics of zodiac signs to the ideas about the world of the Palaeolithic.\u0000The study resulted in finding that the meander symbol originated from smoothly curved lines, similar to waves, river flow, the curves of a snake. The inclusion in the meander of animal figures indicates that it symbolized the endless motion in heaven and on earth, the flow of life (being). This gives grounds for asserting that the occurrence of this sign falls on the era of Aquarius (23,650 - 21,500 BC). The formation of the swastika sign occurs in the Sagittarius era (18th millennium BC).\u0000Conclusion. The reflection of religious-ideological representations in the characteristics of zodiacal signs dominant at the time shows that this is the result of not human thought, but God's providence. Such a conclusion does not contradict the modern post-non-classical interpretation of the historical development of mankind, viewing the world-historical process as holistic.

The publication aims to analyse peculiar features of the development of choreographic language of the Ukrainian ballet performance, relevant in terms of modern art, in the first half of the XXth century. Scientific novelty is in considering the choreographic language of the Ukrainian ballet in indissoluble communication with the modernist style era as dominating in world culture during the first half of the XXth century.\u0000Research methodology. While conducting the research, the need for involvement of a comparative-historical method fixing similarity between the cultural phenomena as certificates of community of their origin caused the use of the integrated approach. Application of cultural science methodology including a sociocultural approach that focuses attention on unity of culture and sociality, considering scientific achievements of choreology, cultural science, ethnography, psychology, history, etc. became necessary.\u0000Following the results of the research, we came to the following conclusions. At a present stage choreographic language needs to be considered as a mirror of culture, as its objective image, model as it accompanies its development. At the same time, when the surrounding cultural matrix changes, art language of the ballet passes through transformations too. Speaking about dance terminology at the present stage of development, a number of researchers claim to use the terms borrowed from the classical ballet.
