Hegel's work "Phenomenology of the Spirit" was used to operationalize his position on the gestalts of the spirit, the appeal to which was stimulated by Slavoj Žižek's analysis and evaluation of the Russian aggression against Ukraine, in which he appealed to the Hegelian understanding of freedom, "for which Ukrainians are fighting today" (Žižek). In the analysis of the eventtragedy as the external world of human existence, emphasis is placed on the scientific content of the concept of the Event in the philosophical explorations of A. Badiou, S. Žižek, the heuristic fruitfulness of which is that they act as meaninggenerating factors in the configuration of the external and internal world of human life in a war situation. Regarding the latter, reflection is carried out through the prism of the psychoanalytic method, represented by the psychoanalytic model of thinking of Wilfred Bion and through the existential analysis of being by Karl Jaspers and Paul Tillich. The substantiation of the cognitive function of the life of the mind, which generates gestalts of the spirit and needs emotional coloring, required additional work by Hannah Arendt. The Deleuzian version of the event was used as a source for the formation of the concept of immediate existence for decision-making in the situation of a tragic event. It is noted that such searches are a significant part of the life of the mind and spirit, anxiety and resistance. Fichte's Ukrainian lamentation, his "Speech to the German Nation" during the time of Napoleon's invasions, is accompanied by references to M. Espany's theory of cultural transfer. Using the work of V. Frankl. P. Tillich, K. Jaspers in relation to Real Death allows us to apply Real Death as a marker of war to the conditions of modern philosophy.

Many monuments of memorial stonework have been preserved here. Most of them are currently in an abandoned and little-studied state. Therefore, the research of memorial buildings is relevant today. The research methodology is based on systematics, reliability, logic, historicism. The purpose of the study is to begin a comprehensive work on the study, preservation, restoration of memorials and to explore the problem of using these art objects for tourism purposes. The author examined hundreds of memorial buildings in Ternopil region. Most of them have been developed and put into scientific circulation for the first time. In particular, in Terebovlya, Narayiv and other centers of stonemasonry. The national peculiarities of memorial constructions of masonry are considered, i.e. isosceles/ Greek type of crosses with endings in the form of a shamrock, peculiarities of iconography of drawings of figures of Saints, of Jesus Christ, etc., thematic variety of sculptural figures.\u0000In the perspective of further research, it is recommended to provide theoretical justifications for the creation of lapidary museums of memorials in order to better preserve them for posterity and use as artistic objects for tourist routes.

In the last quarter of the nineteenth century, new aesthetic concepts and art views are emerging, leading to the emergence of decadence and later to modernism.\u0000At the time, the process of establishing directing completed, the performance revealed new requirements of being a holistic and artistically completed product. The problem of synthesis of arts in the theatre of that time became one of the few investigated and quite relevant today. Since the theatre combines various kinds of arts, including dramaturgy, music, dance, decor, painting, costume, make-up, and actor's skill, altogether, it forms the complex synthetic nature of the theatre requiring research. The theatre is a peculiar mirror of society, of historical epochs reflecting the human life on the stage having its creative crises, as well as the society itself.\u0000At the end of the nineteenth century, Western artists understood that the time for people, continents, religions, and art in different parts of the world to combine their efforts to save the world was coming. Therefore, interest in the "East" as of something else able to help to identify oneself and receive energy for personal innovations appeared. Over the last century, much has been done in this direction especially in understanding and conducting a dialogue of cultures along the horizontal East-West.

The research aims to reveal the ways of civilized dialogue of universalism as an attitude to the search for universal values and traditionalism as an attitude to the preservation of civilizational, national, ethnic, regional and local codes of culture. The methodological principles of the study are: culturological comparative studies, structural psychoanalysis, semiotics of culture and critical theory. Research methods are: cross-cultural, phenomenological, historical, hermeneutic and structural-functional ones. The scientific novelty of the study is that the author compares the project of regionalism inherent in globalism as a manifestation of glocalization and the civilizational approach inherent in traditionalism, and classifies regionalism as a postmodern post-globalization strategy and the civilizational approach as a premodern pre-globalization strategy both of which are conditionally opposed to classical modern globalism. Globalism is seen as a vicious circle of self-reproduction through the appropriation of surpluses. The way out of the vicious circle is seen in the removal from control of the total repressiveness of universalist (socio-ethical) and traditionalist (cultural-anthropological) ideas in the discourse of free (excessive) alter-globalism and anti-globalism. In conclusion, the author emphasizes the implementation of the principle of unity through diversity on the basis of the universal potential of tradition and specific historical forms of realization of universal meanings of mankind to be an effective mechanism for dialogue between universalism and traditionalism.

Asafyev's ideas on music as a sound intonation environment and an art of intoned meaning, as well as because of the expansion of modern humanitarian knowledge due to close interdisciplinary links, the musical criticism underwent a process of active development, synthesizing the subject field of historical and theoretical musicology on the basis of culturology and philosophy. The achievements of this process have been analyzed, which demonstrate a radical renovation of the conceptual and semantic content of the leading categories of musicology, in particular, in relation to the interpretation of historical phenomena in music in view only of their inherent worldview paradigms. Analytical algorithms for detecting epistemologically reliable data on the style of epochs and criteria for compiling their generalized "image" under the guise of an invariant model are specified. The expediency of a monadological (nonlinear) approach to the history of music, which methodologically corresponds to the idea of "philosophy of integrity", is proposed and substantiated.

In this text the author looks at how Chopin was viewed by 20th-century Polish composers regarding two aspects: 1) how they interpreted his music in the context of its links to Polishness and 2) whether and how they took on his musical concepts in their own oeuvres. This will allow to shed some light on the reception and resonance (to use the terminology of Mieczysław Tomaszewski, a distinguished expert on Chopin and 20th-century Polish music) of the figure and music of Chopin in Polish music of the previous century. There will be examined an extremely patriotic public speech given by Paderewski in 1910, as well as Szymanowski’s opinions from the 1920s. Moreover, the politically driven celebrations of Chopin Year in 1949 will be recalled. The special attention will be put on the musical genres associated with Chopin: preludes, mazurkas, etudes, and piano concerto. The author will look for their reinterpretations in the output of 20th-century Polish composers: Szymanowski, Panufnik, Lutosławski, Serocki, Knittel, Mykietyn, or Baculewski. At the end, the question about the legacy of Chopin will try to be answered by recalling opinions of composers active in the 21st-century (Knapik, Zielińska, Wielecki). All the presented views draw the picture which perhaps might be best explained by Stefan Kisielewski’s expression: “Chopin is like a magic object with a different reflection in each mirror.”

This ensured Welbeck a high place in the hierarchy of writers and "postmodern" orientation, especially among those who position themselves in the field of elite literature.\u0000The emphasis is on the transformational processes in the work of the prose writer, who gradually changes the "postmodern" means of expression to new approaches to "building" a literary work, increasingly demonstrating the "author's" position, based on the potential of creative experiment. Both the inner dynamism of Welbeck's novels and his attraction to new aesthetic and artistic pursuits other than "postmodernism" allow him to "move" to as yet untested cultural positions, in particular, to "metamodernism".\u0000In the context of "metamodernism" the focus is on the phenomenon of "metaprose", the core of which is "historioplasticity" — a concept that, on the one hand, can update the conceptual and categorical apparatus formed in the movement "postmodernism–post+postmodernism ", and on the other — to argue the emergence of a novel of the" new type ".\u0000The article uses elements of comparative analysis, which outline the place of M. Welbeck in modern European cultural space, where a whole cohort of writers is eager to search for new means of expression and create works of various genres. Therefore, their role in contemporary Ukrainian society is one of a prop in attempts to justify the criminal totalitarian Soviet regime. Opponents of this opinion point out that many works of monumental art from the Soviet era do have remarkable artistic value and, thus, should have remained where they used to be.\u0000This brings us to the conclusion about the necessity of profound and balanced re-evaluation both from the historic and artistic point of view, of the social role, the historic and artistic value of Soviet artistic heritage in independent democratic Ukrainian society. It should also include a broad process of public re-thinking of the impact of public heritage objects on the shaping of the so-called historic memory of the society about the country’s past. It is desirable that both the historic context of a monument’s creation and its original meaning, be explained to the public in an objective, fact-based way.
