To break the spread of Covid-19, social distancing must be done. The government sets a learning at home policy to prevent children from interactions that will have an impact on their health. On the other hand, educational services must continue to run even in a pandemic situation like this. Thus, we need an online learning model that supports children's activities while at home. Portal Rumah Belajar is one alternative online learning model that can be used by students, including early childhood. This study aims to describe the use of the Portal Rumah Belajar as one of the online learning models whose existence is very relevant to the current situation. This study uses qualitative research methods with a type of phenomenology. The sampling technique used in the study is purposive sampling through interviews with Early Childhood teachers. The results of this study are expected to provide information on the use of Portal Rumah Belajar as an alternative to online learning models during the Covid-19 pandemic.","PeriodicalId":337757,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Early Childhood Education (ICECE 2020)","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134406643","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Early childhood learning must be done through play because children can learn to discover new things. Playing patterns are fun materials and inseparable in early childhood learning. Introducing the concept of pattern to young children is one of the foundations for understanding mathematics. Therefore, early childhood games must be designed creatively. The collection of data in this research is done by collection of library data, reading, recording, and processing of research materials. A research approach be analysed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The study aims to know the proper way to introduce pattern concepts in play activities. It is hoped that children of an early age will be able to recognize the concept of patterns and have the ability to estimate the successive sequences.","PeriodicalId":337757,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Early Childhood Education (ICECE 2020)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121387119","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The games are played from generation to generation. They have many benefits, including vehicles and media, to stimulate early childhood development. However, traditional games are slowly starting to be forgotten; children tend to get used to the instant games available on smartphones or devices or other games that can be accessed in the centre of modern games. This habit causes children not to know what traditional games are. This research aimed to describe the existence of traditional games for early age children in Bengkulu. This research employed a literature study method. This study's results are expected to provide awareness to parents, teachers, and the community about the benefits of traditional games in stimulating children's development.","PeriodicalId":337757,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Early Childhood Education (ICECE 2020)","volume":"124 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115993895","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The focus of this research is foreign languages because foreign languages mastered will have an impact on the future life, one of which is in the career field. This was seen at the time of the co-19 epidemic that the area of interest by workers, employees, and employees who were laid off in the pre-employment system was English. Therefore, English can be introduced to early childhood to prepare children to face the globalization of the world, survive in the world by facing increasingly high competition, and prepare children to lead the world. Case studies are research methods conducted by researchers because there is one school in Cimahi City that applies English learning through the use of information and communication technology media by introducing vocabulary and simple conversations through fun activities. Data collection techniques used were the observation of one of the English language learning programs, school interviews, and learning documentation analysed through thematic data analysis. The results of research that have been categorized into themes show that ICT-based learning media as an innovation in introducing English and internet networks that are used by teachers, so it can be concluded that ICT media and internet networks used can help teachers in introducing English and teachers can innovate and creative in creating an atmosphere of learning.","PeriodicalId":337757,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Early Childhood Education (ICECE 2020)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131056812","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Teachers of Early Childhood Education (ECE) are objects that are prone to stress. In addition to the teacher's function to teach, educate, guide, assess, direct, and evaluate students in teaching and learning activities, they also have responsibility for other job demands that often result in stress. This paper aims to describe the factors that cause the ECE teacher profession to experience stress at work. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques carried out by exploring library research sources. The results of this study indicate that the workload, demands of the parents of students, educational background, work environment, dual roles played, time management, and self-management are among the triggers for stress on teachers. Therefore, it requires a mindfulness-based meditation, relaxation, therapy and training for teachers as a solution in overcoming the stress experienced by teachers in carrying out their profession .","PeriodicalId":337757,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Early Childhood Education (ICECE 2020)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123074673","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
