By selection of suitable control of annealing process of the steel coils is possible to increase quality of annealed batch and economic efficiency of the furnace operation. In this paper is described control of annealing process of the steel coils by using of discreet feed-back controller PI and PID based on behaviour of inner temperature inside the coil. Indirect measurement system of the inner temperatures indirect measures temperature inside the coil that is not measurable without destruction of the coil. Indirect measured temperature inside the coil in chosen place (coolest place in the coil) is as input to the algorithm of the feed-back control. This control adjusts atmosphere temperature for next control step, based on error calculation between required inner temperature and indirect measured inner temperature. Investigation of the influence of operational parameters of energy systems on formation of cost of pollutants requires the application of emissions modeling. Due to the fact that modeling based on physical phenomenon is very complicated and requires often long time of computational time, the empirical techniques can be applied. The results of identification and verification of emission empirical models (regression and neural) are presented in the paper. Hilbert space is infinite dimensional complex space with inner conjunction. Points of this space are functions and by their coordinates is arranged an infinite sequence of functional values of these functions at a certain interval. Algebraic structure of such spaces is giving a place to define, quantify and then analyze geometric relationships between functions which are the vectors of Hilbert space. An aim of the article is to refer to usage of Hilbert space as a state space of process represented by suitable acquired information signal. For one router can be connected not only classical modular PLC but also PLC Power Panel with a process visualization and same operator PC. Communication of the PLC with a operator PC can be provided also by wireless data transmission so-called Wi-Fi. Principle of the equipment's configuration is demonstrated on B&R automatons in combination with a standard network router. In paper are presented principles of the visualization creation for Power Panel in B&R Automation Studio and software settings on the side of the communication interface OPC (OLE for Process Control). Two of the three wheels are driven independently by DC motors. Incremental encoders are used to give feedbacks. The position of the vehicle is calculated by kinematical model assuming ideal rolling of the driven wheels. PWM signals are used to drive the motors with a given angular velocity. The separate driving electronic is controlled via I2C protocol. Răsvan","doi":"10.1109/CARPATHIANCC.2012.6228615","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/CARPATHIANCC.2012.6228615","url":null,"abstract":"It is considered a non-standard model for the overhead (gantry) crane where two basic simplifying assumptions are overruled: negligible distributed mass of the rope and negligible acceleration of the load mass with respect to the gravity acceleration. Especially the last assumption (valid at each time moment) is difficult to check theoretically. The model thus obtained completes a previous one and is described by a partial differential equation of hyperbolic type in one space variable, with space varying parameters. Its boundary conditions are controlled ordinary differential equations. We have thus a boundary controlled system with distributed parameters. There is discussed the simplifying role of the zeroing of the small parameters: a well known model with lumped parameters is re-discovered. The second part of the paper is concerned with control laws analysis and synthesis. The basic tool is a control Liapunov function (c.l.f.) suggested by the identity of the energy integral. The feedback control law is synthesized at the formal level.
