The influence of elastic support to the beam frequency is also discussed, which showed that the elastic has great effect on beam frequency. This property is affected by many fiber performances and processing parameters, which makes its prediction difficult also. In this study, we predicted the hairiness of the cotton yarn in rotor spinning using the ANN model. On the basis of the results obtained, with help of ANN analysis, we can predict the hairiness of the cotton easily and accurately. This paper focuses on developing a new Highway Safety Evaluation System (HSES). First, the Highway Safety Design Model (IHSDM) software and its structure were introduced and the challenges of applying this tool to the highway design process in China were investigated. And then, the structure and data organization of HSES were introduced, furthermore, the key data transfer tool was completed, that can transfer existing highway geometric design data in China to Land XML 1.0 data for the use of after-then safety evaluation. Thirdly, the modules of HSES were shown and explained. And details of the proposed models development and implementation for operation speed and crash prediction were described. We propose a method of moving shadow detection based on local texture features integrated with linear characteristics. Firstly, an adaptive background model was built on the basis of RGB color information, and speedy moving target detection was based on the background subtraction. And then, do shadow detection through Hamming distance by using the texture information which described by improved LBP local texture operator. Finally, the judgement of linearity occur via the previous texture information for the further shadow detection. After adjusting the model, occupant head and chest injury curves and injury values such as HIC, T3MS and Thpc are got, which are close to test ones contrasted with the vehicle impact test. Then the injury estimate system of bus occupant in emergency brake is established and the model is used to compute the simulation of bus emergency brake with the assumption of assumptive approximate decelerate speed. Then different types of safety belts and cushion angles related to injury values are got. By processing the sequence of the range images, the algorithm outputs trajectory and speed of each object during the period when he is in the detection region. The whole algorithm consists of two parts, which are the object detection and the object tracking. In the former, the multi-level thresholding method is combined with the Iterative Selforganizing Data Analysis Techniques Algorithm (ISODATA) to implement object segmentation. In the latter, Kalman Filter is applied to recognize and track moving objects. Therefore, this article studies on the routing optimization problem of gantry cranes from the perspective of the work machines. The routing optimization model of the gantry crane is established with the objective function of the shortest path and the constraints of loading and unloading requirements for quay cranes. Then a practical example is solved by an improved simulated annealing. Then the effect of pile’s modulus on the share load ratio is analyzed. It is indicated that the share load of long-pile is raised when the elastic modulus of long-pile enlarged, while the share load of cushion and short-pile decreased, but the influence to share load ratio diminished when the elastic modulus of long-pile was greater than 28000MPa. The structure of the bridge is innovative and special and almost no similar design can be found at present. Considering the complexity of loading condition and loading transfer characteristics of the detail constructions of the bridge, based on a 1/10-scalemodel study the structural loading transfer behavior; carried out. A 3D shell finite element model of the model bridge was developed and finite element analysis was performed to obtain the theoretic results, then to predict the structural behavior and guide the test loading. By comparison of the test results with the theoretical ones, the values were in good agreement, and the maximum stress under the extreme load were all far below the allowable values.
