A prediction method of time recursive to confirm the shortest time of route is proposed. This method is as an accumulated experience basing on the idea of supervised learning in artificial neural network, colligating with the difference of road conditions during different time section, the human factors function, and the randomness of the accident in course of driving, thus the guidance of the traffic route is realized. Comparing with the real-time road conditions and accumulated experience, the method of time guidance prediction could offer real-time and effective road information for drivers. This guidance technology assists drivers to judge correctly in time and reduces the time losses because of the lack of the experience and the accidents. The guidance technology can be applied to the vehicles, which are with GPS. A detailed description of a novel mosaic method has been proposed in the paper. Firstly, pixels re-arranging and nonuniformity verifying have been done with the images during the pre-processing step. Scene-based statistical method is applied to remove most of the nonuniformity noise. Secondly, a novel feature-based image registration algorithm is studied in the registration step. The morphological modified global thresholding algorithm is proposed to segment the two images. Then region features are extracted by 8- adjacent neighborhood labeling method. The area of the regions and the slope between their central points are used in feature matching. Thirdly, the affine transformation between the images is determined by the matched features and the information from the two images is fused to make a larger format image by the weighted-averaging method. At last, two pairs of images after pre-processing are used for registration experiment while a pair of images is registered before noise removing. The registration results are tested to be insensitive to noise and be excellent and reliable even though the images are slightly twisted. It can superimpose white-light image on infrared thermal image to generate mixture image. The system is realized on a FPGA chip and is mainly composed of multi-channle DMA controller and image superimposition module. Multi-channel DMA controller can realize data exchange between image superimpositon module and memory independent of vehicle-loaded CPU. Image superimposition module adopts Alpha channel mixture algrithm to mix two-channel images. Equations of algrithm are modified to forms that can be easily designed on a FPGA chip. Instead of maintaining the grey levels of original pixels and estimating the grey levels for newly added pixels, the proposed approach split the original pixel, into new pixels. Two approaches are proposed to estimate grey levels for the new pixels, namely zero order split approach and 2nd order split approach. Degraded images and low resolution images were used to test the proposed approach. Results show that the proposed zero order split approach had much better results than other approaches tested for bi-color images such as license plate image. The multi-functional lane can provide lane for vehicle emergency stop, vehicle driving in and out of main road and bus stop. Then taking main road capacity and vehicle delay as assessing index, this paper makes the simulation experiments which are built by the investigation data of Tianjin Southeast Expressway and compares the efficiency of urban expressway with setting multi-functional lane or not from three aspects of functions separately to analyze the setting benefit of multi-functional lane. Finally, this paper gets the conclusion that setting multi-functional lane in urban expressway could increase efficiency of expressway based on existing enough land. It fully considers the sparse representation of curvelets and wave atoms. Curvelets are an essentially optimal representation of objects which is C^2 away from a C^2 edge, while wave atoms have a significantly sparser representation of the warped oscillatory functions or oriented textures than other fixed standard representations like wavelets, Gabor atoms, or curvelets. Moreover, the correlation of piecewise smooth component and textural component is employed as a stopping criterion to control the iterations. The exact corner detection is vital to image registration. A modified SUSAN corner detection algorithm based on adaptive gradient threshold is presented. Ensuring the gray threshold automatically is the key of the new algorithm. First, the Traditional SUSAN principle and the new algorithm are discussed carefully. Then, testing the two methods that have been mentioned with the software of MATLAB 7.0 using the ASTER remote sensing data. The horseshoe vortex formation around the hull-said junction has important influence on the submarine hydrodynamics performance. The origination process of the submarine horseshoe vertex and its influence on submarine flow is analyzed. The numerical simulation on the horseshoe vortex is carried out using DES method (Detached Eddies Simulation); the influence og model speed on submarine horseshoe vertex is studied. It is shown that the model speed has little influence on the position of the horseshoe vortex center, while has signification influence on the intensity of horseshoe vortex.
