Di Kabupaten Tabanan terdapat beberapa Pura Subak sebagai tempat untuk pemujaan terhadap Dewi Sri. Hal ini tidak terlepas dari julukan kota tabanan sebagai kota lumbung padi dan Dewi sri sebagai simbol dari pemberi kesejahteraan. Diantara Pura Subak yang ada, penulis tertarik untuk meneliti salah satu Pura Subak di Kabupaten Tabanan tepatnya di Desa Pakraman Piling, Kecamatan Penebel yang disebut dengan Pura Simpang. Pura ini disungsung oleh seluruh masyarakat Desa Pakraman Piling. Upacara piodalannya setiap enam bulan sekali setelah panen tiba. Pada piodalan di pura ini ada satu tradisi yang unik yakni tradisi ngider nini. Ngider nini sudah menjadi tradisi di Desa Pakraman Piling, akan tetapi belum dipahami secara jelas mengenai dasar pelaksanaan serta implikasi ngider nini ini sehingga muncul berbagai penafsiran yang berbeda tentang tradisi ngider nini karena masih didasarkan pada tradisi gugon tuwon. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah tersebut tradisi ngider nini layak untuk diteliti dalam sebuah karya ilmiah dengan judul “Tradisi Ngider Nini dalam Upacara Piodalan di Pura Simpang Desa Pakraman Piling Kecamatan Penebel Kabupaten Tabanan”. The belief system, religion, and worship greatly affect the perception of messages in ritual communication. The process of ritual communication occurs due to supporting factors such as liturgical rites, belief systems, and worship systems. Two-way communication process is applied to support religious, social and ethical-based ritual communication activities. Berbagai permasalahan muncul ditengah umat Hindu ditengah zaman kali yuga saat ini, mulai dari perdebatan agama, munculnya klaim-klaim kebenaran, konflik agama yang tiada akhir, sampai politisasi agama menjadi penampakan bahkan tontonan terbuka bagi siapa saja. History records that the typology of hadith understanding that dominates almost throughout history is textual understanding. In the modern era, this typology has crystallized more and more resulting in the standardization of Islamic religion (orthodoxy) which sometimes seems out of date. This condition is exacerbated by the widespread understanding of several groups of Islamic movements that support and practice fanaticism and radicalism, where in understanding hadith, they tend to be hard textual and it seems easy to brand heresy, even infidels towards other groups so that in the Indonesian context, it can threaten the disintegration of the nation. This is where Hasbi's contribution - as a reformer figure, offers an understanding of hadith by paying attention to the aspect of the spirit or soul of the Shari'a, especially for muamalah traditions. The background to this  is that many Catholic communities  still follow the biennial tradition with Genduren, specifically the biennial rite (mitoni). The Catholic community has abandoned the traditional ritual of bathing  seven wells with roses, jasmine and ylang-ylang, changing clothes seven times. The form of the problem is as follows: is the Mitoni tradition in the Catholic community of Harjowinangun village?. What is the role of child prodigies in  mitoni worship  in Harjowinangun village?. The purpose of the study was to better understand mitoni tradition Catholic community of Harjowinangun and the role of child prodigies in the process of mitoni worship  in Harjowinangun village. The result of this study is that the implementation of the mitoni tradition Catholic community in Harjowinangun village starts with the preparation, performing the  gendurenan and mitoni cults and takes about an hour. Beginning with the opening rite, introduction to the priest, proclamation of repentance, opening prayer, proclamation of the word, Bible reading, homily, prayer, and after the Our Father, concluding with a prayer willing to end. After the mitoni service is over,  the mitoni service participants immediately leave the room. Then everyone enters the dining room to taste the dishes that have been prepared by the host. The method used is through direct interviews conducted in depth to selected informants which include religious leaders, traditional leaders, community leaders and disaster experts. The results show that there is a contestation of implementation and meaning in the Tabot tradition. Tabot which was the beginning of religious activities became a cultural activity to become a joint activity and even something that the Bengkulu people had been waiting for. The Tabot tradition forms trust and is interpreted as a goal for the ancestors, by rejecting balak (disaster), various things in life and bringing peace. The method used is qualitative through living culture and live in by being part of one of the students in order to obtain in-depth data. The results show that there are several attitudes taken by the Makrifatul Ilmi Islamic boarding school in South Bengkulu in order to realize the values ​​of religious moderation, these attitudes are: Tasamuh (tolerance), Ta'awun (please help), Tahaddur (civilized), Tatawwur wa ibtikar (dynamic and innovative). The conclusion is that the Makrifatul Ilmi Islamic Boarding School, South Bengkulu, instills the value of religious moderation properly and correctly.
