With the MMG signal acquired in the upper arm via a single sensor, eleven original features were extracted, and they were further processed by principal components analysis (PCA) in order to reduce the dimension of the feature space. Quadratic discriminant analysis (QDA) was used for four hand-motion patterns recognition. The cross-validated experimental results show that PCA method is practical in dimension reduction and QDA is functional in classifying the four types of hand-motion modes. The average classification accuracy of eight subjects is 79.66%±7.32%. A high resolution time-frequency spectral was achieved by using Empirical Mode Decomposition and Hilbert-Huang Transform, and the subject specific spatial-time-frequency joint features were extracted from the restricted spectral of multi-channel EEG recordings. Human Lung Cancer cell of A549, H1299 was heated under 40°C 42°C 44°C separately for 2 hours each in the water bath case. In this article, a new method which is based on the MSE criterion and two-sample K-S tests is proposed to determine the optimal threshold in the POT model. Different from the traditional subjective methods, the proposed method can determine the threshold by quantification, and is easy to be implemented by a computer program. An empirical study using the daily returns of S&P 500 index is also presented. It's shown that the proposed method can well capture the optimal threshold. In this work, we proposed a novel time streams similarity approach based on SAX which was named KP_SAX. The similarity distance of KP_SAX described not only the statistical discipline of time series numerical change, but also the form changes of time series. The reliability indexes are taken as the evaluation indexes, and the dependability of NC machine is evaluated by the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Then a dependability evaluation model based on the adaptive network based fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) is established. The reliability indexes are taken as the inputs of the model, and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation results are taken as the outputs of the model. The hybrid arithmetic, which formed by the back propagation (BP) arithmetic and least square arithmetic, is taken as the learning arithmetic of the model. After 20 steps training, the training error of the model reduced to 1.4819×10−6, and the membership functions of the inputs are auto-adjusted.
