Due to the limitation of the quantity of family physicians and the level of telemedicine techniques, the ideal goal of the family medicine with respect to overall promotion of health care is still far to reach. This paper presents a novel framework for constructing applications by wearable sensor. The system can obtain the physiological parameters and transmit relative data to the hospital database. The connectivity with the monitoring and response centers is deployed by using wireless communication and internet technology. Through data mining and decision-making technology, doctors can quickly form a primary diagnosis. The system achieves remote real-time medical monitoring, greatly improves care conditions, increases the communication channel between doctors and patients and provides a convenient and timely medical service for patients.","PeriodicalId":333255,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Future BioMedical Information Engineering (FBIE)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133209105","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In practice, the moving vehicles that are needed to be tracked are often overlapped in the image. As a result, the mistakes in the targets segment and traffic parameters calculation are the problems much more difficult to solve. Generally, the moving target occlusion in video can be divided into two categories, one is the occlusion between the targets, the other one is the occlusion between the target and background. Considering the occlusion between the targets, a vehicles segmentation algorithm, which is based on feature points on contour, is presented in this paper. First of all, it is needed to detect and judge that if the occlusion between the targets was exist in the moving region according to the calculation of the duty cycle and the ratio of length and width. Then, the connective vehicles region that involving vehicle occlusion will be segmented into independent targets according segmentation algorithm mentioned above. MATLAB is used as the simulation platform to implement the functions of the vehicles segmentation. Experiment results show that the algorithm presented in this paper is effective and feasible, and also have good application prospects.","PeriodicalId":333255,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Future BioMedical Information Engineering (FBIE)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115960163","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Several flasks of plantlets, which biomass were known through the contact weighing, were used for internal references, and the models of biomass vs. pixels were fitted. The biomasses of plantlets to be determined were estimated based on the models. The logistic equations were used for the fitting of biomass vs. the day sub-cultured the plantlets. The significance on the parameters of logistic equations of ten samples was described. The dynamic information on the growth of plantlets in vitro was acquired according to the parameters of logistic equations. The results showed that the growth information in ten flasks of plantlets can be described by the parameters of their logistic equations. The average growth rate of plantlets can be determined. It is possible to predict for plantlets dynamic growth information. These results offer a foundation to the research of micro-environmental control, the growth situation evaluation, rational medium choice and plantlets in vitro classification in plant tissue culture.","PeriodicalId":333255,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Future BioMedical Information Engineering (FBIE)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116248209","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
