The experiment was conducted in Department of Preventive Medicine of Qingdao University Medical College. Article that was about risk factors of female breast cancer were searched through Chinese journals full-text database and VIP Chinese science and technology journals full-text database from 1989 to 2005. Inclusive standard were that study was located in China, risk factors included passive smoking and results were odds ratio (OR). The identified papers were analyzed using Meta-analysis in order to assess the comprehensive relation between passive smoking and female breast cancer. Ten case-control studies were selected. The cumulative cases and controls were 1879 and 2040. Significant heterogeneity was detected among the 10 studies (Q=20.13, P≪ 0.05). In this paper, an automated feature extraction method for recognition of Petechia Spot in tongue image is proposed employing marker-based watershed transform and morphological filter. An efficient preprocessing method including gray-level contrast-stretch is designed before extraction to make Petechia Spot more apparent. Moreover, algorithm erasing falsely selected region is presented to avoid misjudgment. The degree of crowd density of the scene is classified into several grades, BP neural network is used for training and then the classification model is constructed, through which the estimation of crowd density can be obtained. The specific implementation approach is adapting multi-state linear feedback, use fuzzy identifier to change its amplification factor, ultimately achieve the purpose for changing the control discipline. Many computer aided detection (CAD) methods combined with morphological approach and pattern recognition technology to identify lung nodules have been proposed to assist the radiologists to improve sensitivity of diagnosis. We present a computer aided lung nodule detection scheme based on analysis of enhanced voxel in three dimensional (3D) CT image. The method is multi-step, including lung fields segmentation, initial nodule candidates enhancement, enhanced voxel feature extraction, voxels classification with support vector machines (SVMs) and nodule decision rule. Two lung nodule data sets are employed to evaluate the performance of the computerized scheme. The experimental results illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method.
