Para isso, demonstra-se de que modo a nocao de forma romanesca desenvolvida por Gyorgy Lukacs foi apropriada e reelaborada por Schwarz, sobretudo em Ao vencedor as batatas (2000a), livro em que se evidenciam os nexos entre a estrutura dos primeiros romances brasileiros e os aspectos sociologicos da classe dominante brasileira a epoca do Imperio. Assim, chega-se a constatacao de que criterios politico-ideologicos aproximam o critico na periferia do capitalismo e o filosofo hungaro no que concerne ao julgamento de obras de arte. Lukacsian’s assumptions regarding the concept of form in Roberto Schwarz This article aims to clarify the theoretical assumptions concerning the concept of literary form developed by Roberto Schwarz in his criticism. To that end, one demonstrates how the notion of form of the novel developed by Gyorgy Lukacs was appropriated and reworked by Schwarz, especially in Ao vencedor as batatas (2000a), a book that shows the link between the structure of the first Brazilian novels and the sociological aspects of the Brazilian ruling class at the time of the Empire. Thus, one can confirm which political-ideological criteria connect the critic in the periphery of capitalism and with the Hungarian philosopher regarding the judgement of works of art. A Real Academia Espanhola (RAE) lanca, no intervalo de dez anos, aproximadamente, uma nova edicao de seu dicionario, com o proposito de oferecer uma imagem lexica atualizada do idioma espanhol. Para tanto, a RAE utiliza seu banco de dados, corpora textuais que registra o lexico diacronico e sincronico da lingua. O objetivo deste trabalho e analisar quantitativa e qualitativamente, atraves dos corpora da Academia, a macroestrutura das duas edicoes mais recentes do seu dicionario (DRAE 2001; DRAE 2014) Computerized textual corpora as a tool to analyze the Dictionary of the Spanish Royal Academy’s macrostructure The Diccionario de la Real Academia Espanola (DRAE) is a lexicographical instrument of reference for Spanish speaking community. The Real Academia Espanola (RAE) publishes about once every ten years a new edition of its dictionary with the purpose of giving an updated lexical image of the Spanish language. To that end, RAE uses its own data bank, that is, textual corpora that record the diachronic and synchronic lexicon of the language. The aim of this work is to analyze qualitatively and quantitatively, through the Academy's corpora, the macrostructure of the two most recent editions of the dictionary (DRAE 2001; DRAE 2014). Em Um sonho de mil gatos (1990), Sandman adquire a forma de um gato. A historia apresenta uma gata domestica que busca mudar o mundo atraves dos sonhos. A partir disso, este trabalho tem como objetivos analisar os simbolos na narrativa e a construcao utopica atraves do ato de sonhar. Para tanto, serao utilizados: Chevalier e Gheerbrant (2015), a fim de auxiliar na analise dos simbolos presentes na obra; Bloch (2005), para a discussao sobre sonhos como pensamento utopicos; e Jung (2016), para as reflexoes sobre as concepcoes de sonho enquanto simbolo. Por fim, atraves das leituras mencionadas, alem da analise minuciosa da graphic novel em questao, nota-se que o sonhar conduz o processo de construcao do utopico apresentado na narrativa. The symbolic feline utopia and the recognition of the animal reason in “A dream of a thousand cats”, by Neil Gaiman Graphic novel published between 1989 and 1996, Sandman follows the journey of the eponymous character, ruler of the dreaming world and entity who exists since the beginning of time. In A dream of a thousand cats (1990), Sandman becomes a cat. The story presents a domestic cat that intends to change the world through dreams. Taking this into account, this paper aims to analyze the symbols in the narrative and the utopic construction through the act of dreaming. To that end, the following will be used: Chevalier e Gheerbrant (2015), in order to support the analysis of the symbols present in the work; Bloch (1995), for the discussion on dreams as utopic thinking; and Jung (2016), for the reflections upon the conceptions of dream as a symbol. At last, through the aforementioned readings, in addition to the thorough analysis of the graphic novel under discussion, it can be noticed that the dreaming is what leads the process of the utopic construction presented in the narrative. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar el tratamiento ficcional de esa memoria marcadamente sexuada que nos muestra, a traves de los recuerdos y archivos femeninos, no solamente el papel de la mujer restringido a la sexualidad productiva del matrimonio, sino tambien las pasiones homoeroticas, condenadas al silenciamiento. Para fundamentar teoricamente el estudio, se ha recurrido a los planteamientos de Perrot (1989), Taylor (2013), Assmann (2011), Pinon (1999) y Rivas (2000), entre otros. Podemos concluir que los procedimientos de construccion narrativa que encontramos en la obra nos muestran el vinculo entre lo femenino y la valoracion de la memoria familiar como recurso ficcional para la recuperacion y preservacion de la historia temporal de las mujeres. Quando se trata desse genero em obras lexicograficas infantis, principalmente, percebe-se a importância do texto visual, posto adequadamente, para o aprendizado da crianca. Refletindo sobre essas questoes, propomos, neste trabalho, trazer a analise de um dicionario infantil consagrado no mercado editorial: Aurelinho. Dicionario Infantil ilustrado da lingua portuguesa (FERREIRA, 2008), para estudar os verbetes que fazem uso de texto verbo-visual apoiando-se na linguagem fotografica, presentes nessa obra, a luz da multimodalidade e da metalexicografia. Analisamos os recursos fotograficos dos verbetes ilustrados tendo como base a Teoria da Gramatica do Design Visual (GDV), pensada por Kress e Van Leeuwen (1996, 2006), e observamos a organizacao dos verbetes dos dicionarios infantis, tendo como referencia preceitos da metalexicografia, atraves de estudos de teoricos como Welker (2008), Pontes (2009), dentre outros. Tivemos como direcionamento o alcance desses objetivos: 1. Descrever como se da a presenca da fotografia em um dicionario infantil; e 2. Analisar como as fotografias sao utilizadas nas obras lexicograficas para contribuir com a aprendizagem vocabular da crianca. Neste trabalho, em decorrencia, principalmente, da pouca atencao disponibilizada ao usuario dos dicionarios escolares, valorizamos o consulente como elemento essencial para a ideia de organizacao de um dicionario, e e essa valorizacao uma das motivacoes desta pesquisa. Using photographs in entries of dictionaries for children Entry is a textual genre little studied during the education of an individual, but it plays an important role in the process of language acquisition, whether a mother tongue or not. When this genre is used in lexicographic works for children, more than in other contexts, we can observe the importance of visual text, if it is correctly employed, for the child's learning. With these reflections in mind, we propose, in this work, to perform an analysis of a children's book well-established in the publishing market: Aurelinho. Dicionario infantil ilustrado da lingua portuguesa (FERREIRA, 2008), to study, in the light of multimodality and metalexicography, the entries of this work in which verbal-visual texts, e.g. photographs, are employed. Dessa forma, fornecemos dois exemplos de livros que fazem parte dessa nova forma de escrita. Para tanto, nossas reflexoes se baseiam em Ferreira (2010), Foster (2011) e Nora (1993) acerca da literatura, memoria e historia; bem como nas discussoes de Chevrier (2006), Coquio (2004, 2015) e Germanotta (2010), quanto a literatura de genocidio. Assim, percebemos que a literatura de genocidio tem como objetivo a resistencia ao esquecimento e a repeticao da pratica testemunhada. E por se tratar dessa resistencia e da relacao entre o etico e o estetico, que essa escrita se torna quase impossivel de ser produzida: e, de fato, raconter l’indicibl e. The literature of genocide: raconter l’indicible This article focuses on the literature of genocide – especially the one that happened in Rwanda – as a new way of writing that can pass through the literary and the historical fields, as well as to raise awareness about literary reading and to foster the critical thinking of the foreign language student. Thus, we provide two examples of books that are part of this new way of writing. For this purpose, our reflections are based on Ferreira (2010), Foster (2011) and Nora (1993), regarding literature, memory and history; and based on Chevrier’s (2006), Coquio’s (2004, 2015) and Germanotta’s (2010) discussions about literature of genocide. So we understand that the aim of the literature of genocide is the resist to forgetfulness and repetition of the witnessed practice. Due to this resistance and the relationship between the ethical and the aesthetical, this writing becomes almost impossible to be produced: it is, indeed, raconter l’indicible . {"title":"A propaganda oral radiofônica enquanto gênero textual: implicações argumentativas e referenciais","authors":"M. A referenciacao e voltada a maneira de introducao de novos elementos em um texto, bem como acoes de retomadas por meio de recategorizacoes manifestadas e nao manifestadas lexicalmente no texto. Assim, este trabalho objetiva analisar o genero textual spot a partir da Linguistica Textual, numa perspectiva sociocognitivo-discursiva, tomando o texto como processo, lugar de interacao, estabelecendo um dialogo entre elementos argumentativos, com categorias orais e referenciais, considerando como se da o tecer sociocognitivo do genero em estudo, permitindo a efetividade dos aspectos argumentativos e referenciais no citado genero, veiculado em linha radiofonica. A metodologia percorrida e de linha qualitativa com uma analise descritivo-interpretativa, e a pesquisa e realizada com as informacoes em processo e, tendo como referencial teorico os trabalhos de: Cavalcante, Custodio Filho e Brito (2014), Koch (2004), Fiorin (2015). Os resultados apontam para uma construcao no jogo interativo do texto, por meio de pistas argumentativas e referenciais que favorecem a producao do sentido textual. The oral merchandising on the radio as a textual genre: argumentative and referential implications The argumentative studies of language provide the reading, analysis and understanding of meaning in genres, with emphasis on reference studies, in which objects of discourse, being constructed and reconstructed in the minds of interlocutors and in social relations, allow the access to meaning in different genres. The reference is focused on the way of introducing new elements in a text, as well as actions of reiteration through recategorisations manifested and not manifested lexically in the text. Thus, this work aims to analyze the textual genre spot, based on Textual Linguistics , in a socio-cognitive-discursive perspective, seeing the text as a process, place of interaction, establishing a dialogue between argumentative elements, oral and referential categories, taking into consideration how the socio-cognitive dimension of the studied genre works , allowing the effectiveness of the argumentative and referential aspects in the aforementioned genre which is broadcasted via radio . The methodology employed in this study was the qualitative research with a descriptive-interpretative analysis and it was developed using the information in process , based on the following theoretical framework: Cavalcante, Custodio Filho and Brito (2014), Koch (2004), Fiorin (2015). The results point to a construction in the interactive game of the text, through argumentative and referential cues that contribute to the production of textual meaning. A analise volta-se aos artificios empregados pelos romancistas na elaboracao dos personagens femininos. Esses foram eleitos como objeto de estudo pelo fato de se oporem ao padrao de comportamento da sociedade de fim do seculo XVIII e inicio do XIX; alem de nao se permitirem viver uma relacao amorosa. Refletimos, ainda, sobre a Literatura ser capaz de retratar os conflitos vividos por uma coletividade em determinado espaco e tempo, podendo, assim, servir como meio comparativo Luzia-Homem and Maria Moura: some considerations regarding female characters of two Brazilian novels This paper is focused on the Comparative Literature between the novels Luzia-Homem (1903), by Domingos Olimpio, and Memorial de Maria Moura (1992), by Rachel de Queiroz. The analysis focus on the artifices applied by the novelists in the elaboration of the female characters. These were chose as the object of study because they contrasted with the standard behavior of the late 18th and early 19th century societies; furthermore, these characters did not allow themselves to engage in a romantic relationship. Flores","doi":"10.28998/2317-9945.2019n63p23-36","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.28998/2317-9945.2019n63p23-36","url":null,"abstract":"Neste relato de pesquisa, leitura e compreensao leitora sao consideradas duas atividades cognitivas distintas, nao redutiveis nem identicas, fundamentando-se tal posicao em pesquisas neurocientificas que comprovaram que ler, em sentido estrito, e decodificar (DEHAENE, 2007, 2012; MORAIS, 2014; SCLIAR-CABRAL, 2009, 2013), atestando esses estudos, tambem, que decodificar nao implica compreender (NATION, 2013). Pode-se ler o texto escrito de dois modos: silenciosamente ou em voz alta, sendo necessario considerar, ainda, embora nao seja esta objeto do presente estudo, a leitura de imagens (KRESS & van LEEUWEN, 1996; MAYER, 2001). No Brasil, entre as duas modalidades de leitura da escrita, a mais praticada e a silenciosa. Hoje, contudo, os problemas de leitura – interpretacao e compreensao – entre estudantes de todos os niveis (do fundamental ao universitario), evidenciados nas avaliacoes de leitura – Prova Brasil, Prova ANA, SAEB, PISA – levaram a que a leitura em voz alta e sua associacao com a compreensao voltasse a ser investigada. Em vista disso, no primeiro semestre de 2016, propos-se um estudo exploratorio enfocando uma pratica de leitura oral, para verificar quais as possiveis dificuldades evidenciadas em um grupo de academicos de letras de uma IES do RS e analisar se pareciam configurar a possibilidade de um disturbio cerebral ou se apenas indicavam falta de pratica de leitura, para fins academicos. Os sujeitos foram expostos a leitura silenciosa, producao de parafrase, leitura em voz alta e gravacao da leitura, seguida de analise. O objetivo foi levar os participantes a monitorar o desempenho do grupo por meio de tres criterios: diccao, ritmo e entonacao, como proposto por Poersch e Muneroli (1993). Os resultados do trabalho evidenciaram que a leitura oral pode ser uma pratica produtiva e eficaz, tendo sua realizacao promovido envolvimento com a atividade e melhorado a performance dos academicos participantes. Considerando os pressupostos teoricos de Conole e Dyke (2004), Kress (2010), Kress e van Leeuwen (2006) e Danesi (2017), os tuites foram analisados e os emojis foram categorizados segundo Danesi (2017). A analise revela que, nos tuites examinados, os emojis sao empregados em tres funcoes: sintatica, como pontuacao; semântica, substituindo itens lexicais; e enfatica, como marcadores discursivos. A analise tambem identificou a presenca de hashflags, um novo tipo de hashtag da qual emojis customizados sao acionados. Nas hashflags dos tuites analisados, os emojis atuam como indice simbolico do conteudo semântico-pragmatico da hashtag, evidenciando a interdependencia entre os modos semioticos constitutivos dos tuites, bem como a dinamicidade das affordances do ambiente digital. Emojis and Hashflags: a socio-rhetorical analysis of the Twitter’s multi-semiotic language This paper presents an analysis of emojis mapped in 15 tweets, in which the confluence of semiotic modes is seen as the foundation for meaning construction, for the socio-rhetorical structure of the genre microblog and for the choice of emojis used in the tweets. Based on the theoretical assumptions of Conole and Dyke (2004), Kress (2010), Kress and van Leeuwen (2006) and Danesi (2017), the tweets were analyzed and the emoji were categorized according to Danesi (2017). The analysis reveals that, in the tweets examined, the emojis have been employed according to three functions: syntactic, as punctuation marks; semantic, replacing lexical items; and emphatic, as discourse markers. The analysis also identified hashflags, a new type of hashtag from which custom emojis are triggered. In the hashflags present in the analyzed tweets, the custom emojis act as a symbolic index of the semantic-pragmatic content of the hashtag, thus revealing the interplay between the semiotic modes in the tweets and the dynamic nature of the digital affordances.
