The introduction of IoT technology in the cultivation process allows for the monitoring and control of plant growth through automation. While the traditional greenhouse system is already an upgrade to the traditional cultivation system, it still has room for improvement with the integration of technology. The traditional greenhouse system requires close monitoring of growth rates through manual intervention and can be prone to various hazards. Incorrect interpretations of plant requirements can result in wrong interventions that may severely affect plant growth. It is imperative to have accurate data to maintain the health of plants throughout the cultivation process. IoT plays a predominant role in providing accurate data for constant monitoring of plant growth. The aim of this paper is to present a fully functional greenhouse automation model using microcontrollers, sensors, fans, pumps, and appropriate networking routing technology capable of providing instant data for proper monitoring of plant growth. The presented model includes safety features and can issue alerts in case security measures are breached. The system may even allow users to perform remote monitoring using a web application. Therefore, the proposed model will contribute to enhancing the horticultural industry by increasing output and reducing the need for human intervention.","PeriodicalId":33075,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Information Systems and Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43257642","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although an explicit song labeling program is currently in place, its coverage is limited to songs released by artists affiliated with the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Consequently, songs falling outside the program's scope remain inadequately labeled. To address this issue, a machine learning model was developed to effectively classify explicit songs and mitigate mislabeling challenges. A comprehensive dataset of song lyrics was collected using web scraping techniques for the purpose of constructing the classification model. The model was trained using the TF-IDF vectorization method and the random forest algorithm. A meticulous comparison of distribution parameters was conducted between the training and testing data sets to determine the optimal model. This superior model achieved a training-testing data distribution ratio of 90:10, with an impressive accuracy of 96.3%, precision of 99.3%, recall of 93.5%, and an f1-score of 96.3%. The classification results revealed that explicit songs accounted for 39.22% of the dataset, and the visual representation highlighted the fluctuating prevalence of explicit songs over time. Additionally, the hip-hop/rap genre exhibited the highest proportion of explicit songs, reaching a staggering 92%.","PeriodicalId":33075,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Information Systems and Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42221325","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Also, the company needs to investigate the potential consequences of cyber security threats, considering the severity of those risks. There has been no comparative analysis of the risk assessment methods available to businesses in various nations. Thus, the researcher in this study asked forty people from four countries (Canada, Jordan, South Africa (SA), and the United Kingdom (UK)) questions on the risk assessment procedures at their respective organizations using semi-structured interviews. After compiling and analyzing the data, it became clear that Canada and the UK were the frontrunners in adopting big data and cloud computing. It also demonstrated that Jordan and SA are in the early phases of an evolving adoptive relationship. Recommendations are made to strengthen the organization's standing in light of the different risk assessment frameworks used in each country.","PeriodicalId":33075,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Information Systems and Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49084948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method used is design thinking. The design thinking method has five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. At the empathize stage, the needs of system users are classified based on the characteristics of the user as a host or guest. In the define stage, the problem statement technique is used to define the problems and needs of users into four parts: lack of awareness and exposure, limited digital infrastructure, the limited availability of tourism-related infrastructure, and the lack of tourism-related data. At the ideation stage, the main problem identified related to the marketing of special interest tourist destinations is the lack of tourism-related data, so the idea to solve the problem is through the design of a website that accommodates all information about destinations and events, hotel accommodation services, resorts and cottages, vehicle rental services, and travel experiences to North Halmahera which are shared in the form of articles to short videos. At the prototype stage, the database and interface design are designed according to the analysis results at the empathize, define, and ideate stages. Furthermore, at the testing stage, aspirations about prototypes are carried out through posters and short videos to gain insight into the subsequent development. Thus, marketing special interest tourist destinations becomes more effective and efficient using a website-based digital platform.","PeriodicalId":33075,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Information Systems and Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45800357","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
