{"title":"IMPLEMENTASI PEMBERIAN REWARD DAN PUNISHMENT DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DI SMP NEGERI 40 PALEMBANG","authors":"Fitri Oviyanti, Muhammad Fakhri Ramadhan, Muhammad Farhan Arib","doi":"10.26418/jvip.v16i2.75045","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.26418/jvip.v16i2.75045","url":null,"abstract":"Permasalahan yang jadi fokus dalam penulisan skripsi ini mencakup hal-hal berikut: (1) Bagaimana implementasi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan sistem penghargaan dan hukuman untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 40 Palembang, (2) Langkah-langkah apa yang diambil oleh guru dalam meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa dengan menerapkan sistem penghargaan dan hukuman di SMP Negeri 40 Palembang, (3) Dampak apa yang timbul dari penerapan pembelajaran dengan sistem penghargaan dan hukuman guna meningkatkan semangat belajar di SMP Negeri 40 Palembang. Keuntungan dari penelitian ini terletak pada manfaat yang diperoleh dalam mendapatkan teori baru mengenai peningkatan semangat belajar siswa melalui penerapan sistem penghargaan, yang dapat memperluas pemahaman bagi para pendidik dan dunia pendidikan pada umumnya, baik oleh peneliti sendiri maupun peneliti lainnya. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penulisan skripsi ini meliputi penggunaan angket (kuisioner), observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesimpulan sebagai berikut: melalui penyebaran kuisioner berisi 30 pertanyaan mengenai penerapan pembelajaran dengan sistem penghargaan, nilai tertinggi terdapat pada pertanyaan nomor 1, dengan 98% responden menyetujui pernyataan dalam kuisioner tersebut. Sementara nilai terendah terdapat pada pertanyaan nomor 6 dan 10, dengan 87% responden yang menyetujui atau mengikuti pernyataan dalam kuisioner. Sedangkan dalam penerapan pembelajaran menggunakan metode hukuman, nilai tertinggi ada pada pertanyaan nomor 4, dengan 89% dari 21 guru yang merespon melakukan hal tersebut untuk menerapkan hukuman kepada siswa. Nilai terendah yang diperoleh adalah 37% pada pertanyaan nomor 10. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru dapat dijadikan ukuran terhadap profesionalisme mereka dalam bidang pendidikan. Tingkat tertinggi tercapai pada 90%, yang mengacu pada pernyataan dalam kuisioner nomor 1, 3, dan 5. Sedangkan tingkat terendah terdapat pada pernyataan nomor 9, dengan nilai rata-rata 39% dari total skor yang diperoleh dari setiap pernyataan dalam kuisioner. Playing is the world for children, especially young children. Traditional games such as Tapo' Pipit can be used as fun playing media for children. This research aims to measure the level of achievement of social emotional development aspects of children aged 5-6 years by playing the traditional game Tapo' Pipit. This research uses descriptive methods with quantitative descriptive analysis techniques and data collection techniques using observation and documentation. The results of the research show that the level of achievement in the social emotional development aspects of children aged 5-6 years by playing Tapo' Pipit is 91% in the BSH category and 9% in the MB category, while in the BB and BSB categories each is 0%. So, it can be concluded that through the traditional game Tapo' Pipit we can determine the level of development of social emotional aspects in children aged 5-6 years.Keywords: Early childhood, Tapo' Pipit game, social emotional aspects AbstrakPerkembangan sosial emosional merupakan suatu peningkatan pencapaian perkembangan pada anak yang perlu selalu diasah, salah satunya melalui permainan tradisional. Bermain merupakan dunia bagi anak-anak, terutama anak usia dini. Permaianan Tradisional seperti Tapo’ Pipit bisa dijadikan media bermaian yang menyengkan bagi anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat pencapaian aspek perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun dengan bermain permainan tradisional Tapo’ Pipit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitaif dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat pencapaian aspek perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun dengan bermain Tapo’ pipit yaitu, nilai sebesar 91% pada kategori BSH dan 9% pada kategori MB sedangkan pada kategori BB dan BSB masing-masing sebesar 0%. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui permainan tradisional Tapo’ Pipit ini dapat diketahui tingkat pencapaian perkembangan aspek sosial emosional pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Meanwhile, the students are still weak in reading skills with their low critical thinking capacity and engage more activities not being tied and integrated into the learning process at school. The aim of this study was to explain the effectiveness of the scaffolding strategy using GWE on the students’ descriptive reading skills and critical thinking and to inquire about the relationship between those two variables. This study used a quasi-experimental design with two research instruments, namely a standardized descriptive text test sourced from the National Examination from 2005-2019 and a 21-critical thinking questionnaire items that had been validated by the expert. The subjects of this research were the tenth grade of senior high students of an integrated public school in Tana Tidung and were taken randomly to be an experimental class and a control class with 32 students for each of these classes. The results revealed that the implementation of the scaffolding strategy with the use of GWE could develop the students’ descriptive reading skills and critical thinking. Additionally, their descriptive reading skills and Greenstein’s critical thinking across four dimensions, namely: (a) critical thinking, multiple viewpoints; (b) analysing information; (c) using data to develop critical insight; and (d) using data to develop advanced clarification indicated stronger relationship. The data analysis, conducted through thematic analysis, shed light on how character education is structured and the myriad challenges that emerge in its execution. Key findings reveal that while Al-Mukmin Islamic Boarding School adopts a comprehensive approach to character education, encompassing learning, habituation, and practice, it concurrently grapples with significant hurdles. These include the scarcity of qualified educators proficient in both academic and moral teachings, the need to balance academic rigor with moral values, cultural influences affecting educational practices, and the complexities of engaging students and assessing moral development effectively. One interesting case study is Bumrung Suksa Islamic School in Southern Thailand, an Islamic educational institution that has adapted to global dynamics and contemporary demands. This research uses a qualitative approach to explore the concept of moderation in Islamic education in this school. This approach involves in-depth interviews with teaching staff, students and school stakeholders, as well as analysis of documents related to the school’s curriculum and policies. The research results show that Bumrung Suksa Islamic School has succeeded in integrating Islamic values of moderation into their daily education. This school’s curriculum not only focuses on the transfer of religious knowledge, but also on character formation, developing a balanced understanding of Islam, strengthening an Islamic identity that is balanced with tolerance and openness, as well as inter-ethnic dialogue that strengthens harmonious relations between members of the school community. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the global Islamic education literature, especially in the context of Muslim minority communities in non-Muslim countries. Through a better understanding of the moderation of Islamic education, it is hoped that educational models that are relevant and effective in responding to the complex dynamics of the modern era can be found.Keywords : Islamic Education, Moderation, Global Adaptation, Character, Identity, Inter-ethnic Dialogue, Community Harmony.AbstrakPendidikan Islam di Asia Tenggara memiliki dinamika dan tantangan tersendiri, terutama di negara-negara dengan mayoritas penduduk non-Muslim. Salah satu studi kasus menarik adalah Bumrung Suksa Islamic School di Thailand Selatan, sebuah lembaga pendidikan Islam yang telah beradaptasi dengan dinamika global dan tuntutan kontemporer. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi konsep moderasi pendidikan Islam di sekolah ini.Pendekatan ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan staf pengajar, siswa, dan pihak terkait sekolah, serta analisis dokumen terkait kurikulum dan kebijakan sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bumrung Suksa Islamic School telah berhasil mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moderasi Islam dalam pendidikan sehari-hari mereka.Kurikulum sekolah ini tidak hanya memfokuskan pada transfer pengetahuan agama, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter, pengembangan pemahaman yang seimbang terhadap Islam, penguatan identitas Islam yang seimbang dengan toleransi dan keterbukaan, serta dialog antar-etnis yang memperkuat hubungan harmonis di antara anggota komunitas sekolah.Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada literatur pendidikan Islam global, khususnya dalam konteks masyarakat minoritas Muslim di negara-negara non-Muslim. The approach and type of research used in this research is a quantitative approach with a survey research type. The population in the study were al kindergartens throughout the city of Pontianak with sampling using proportionate stratified random sampling and a sample of 30 TK/RA was obtained. Data colection techniques in this research used questionnaires, interviews, documentation. Before the instrument is used, validation is carried out through content validation by 2 validators who are considered experts using the Gregory test. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistical data analysis techniques by converting respondent perception data into IKM intervals. The results of the research show that, learning management is 3.11 in the effective category, learning activities are 3.14 in the effective category, learning completeness is 3.20 in the effective category, learning facilities and infrastructure are 3.15 in the effective category. So the overal average is 3.15, which means the Limited PTM evaluation is in the \"effective\" category. Keywords: Evaluation, Limited Face-to-Face Learning, Cognitive. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi PTM Terbatas dalam meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak di TK se-kota Pontianak. Adapun pendekatan dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian survei. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh TK se-kota Pontianak dengan penarikan sampel menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling dan didapatkan sampel sebanyak 30 TK/RA. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan, kuesioner, wawancara, dokumentasi. Sebelum instrumen digunakan, dilakukan validasi  melalui validasi isi oleh 2 validator yang dianggap ahli menggunakan uji gregory. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data statistik deskriptif dengan mengkonversi data persepsi responden ke interval IKM. Hasill penelitian menunjukan bahwa, pengelolaan pembelajran 3,11 dikategori efektif, aktivitas pembelajaran 3,14 dikategori efektif, ketuntasan pembelajaran 3,20 dikategori efektif, sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran 3,15 dikategori efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Savari sebagai sistem informasi berbasis virtual reality (VR) tematik untuk anak usia dini. Fokus produk pengembangan adalah virtual tour tempat ibadah di Kota Pontianak.Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (R&D) berbasis produk. Proses penelitian menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan pengukuran skala Guttman. Peneliti menguji rancangan produk kepada ahli materi dan ahli media sebelum diujicobakan.Hasil pengembangan dalam bentuk media pembelajaran virtual tour tematik dengan tema rumah ibadah di Kota Pontianak. Visualisasi aset VR 360 dari rumah ibadah 6 Agama besar di Indonesia yaitu, Islam, Kristen, Katolik, Hindu, Budha, dan Konghucu. The research method involved conducting extensive interviews with cadres to gather insights into their perspectives and challenges. Data collection revealed that cadres recognize the pivotal role of teaching modules and emphasize the importance of religious and moral values in early childhood education. They expressed a commitment to adaptability and improvement while facing resource challenges. The results highlight cadres' dedication to providing interactive and engaging educational content and their willingness to receive training and support for module development. These findings have implications for enhancing the quality of early childhood education in Bandung City by focusing on specialized training, resource allocation, knowledge sharing, research-based assessments, community engagement, and alignment with national education goals. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research with an experimental method. The research subjects were children aged 5-6 years in group B2 with a total of 11 children from Primanda Untan Kindergarten. The data collection technique is observation technique with descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that there is an increase in children's ability to develop aspects of religious and moral values after playing the traditional game tapo'pipit. This is proven by the results of the frequency data obtained in the \"Very Well Developing\" category of 8 with a percentage value of around 83%- 100%. Furthermore, the \"Developing According to Expectations\" category is 3 with a percentage value of around 64% -83%.Keywords: NAM ability level, early childhood, traditional tapo' pipit game. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur peningkatan aspek perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Primanda Untan melalui permainan tradisional tapo’pipit. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode eskperimen. Subyek penelitian ini anak usia 5-6 tahun di kelompok B2 dengan jumlah 11 orang anak dari TK Primanda Untan. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik observasi dengan analisis deskriftif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan perkembangan aspek nilai agama dan moral anak setelah bermain permainan tradisional tapo’pipit. Dibuktikan dengan hasil data frekuensi yang diperoleh pada kategori “Berkembang Sangat Baik” sebesar 8 dengan nilai persentase sekitar 83%-100%. Tingkat kecemasan ditentukan menggunakan kuisioner Taylor Minnesota Anxiety Scale (TMAS). Kelekatan orang tua ditentukan menggunakan kuisioner skala pola kelekatan. Nilai responsi anatomi diperoleh dari ujian responsi Anatomi Blok Neurendokrin dan Indera Khusus. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji regresi berganda.
