To study the changes in the legislative regulation of language policy during the period of independence of Ukraine, the methods of study of documents and retrospective analysis were applied. The attitude of scientists to the situation of bilingualism has been also studied using the methods of comparison and generalization.\u0000\u0000As a result of the research, it was revealed that formation of a clear language policy is an essential condition for promoting the cohesion of a multi-ethnic Ukrainian society, inasmuch as the existing situation of bilingualism leads to a disunity of the nation. Although the Ukrainian language is defined by the state at the constitutional level, however, its introduction into all spheres of public life until 2014 was quite slow, especially in the eastern and southern regions. Since 2010, the language policy was actually aimed at reducing the use of the Ukrainian language and the dominance of Russian in the information and cultural space of Ukraine. Since 2012, Ukraine had a law that provided for legitimization of “regional languages” in certain areas (it was declared as unconstitutional one in February 2018). The prospect of implementation of language policy at the legislative level is adoption of the Law “On ensuring the functioning of the Ukrainian language as the state language” (passed the first reading on October 4, 2018), which defines the Ukrainian language as the only state language, establishing the requirements for fluency in the Ukrainian language and its use in the work of state authorities and public areas.

The manuscript with expressive features of the Old Ukrainian language, created in the westernmost region of the modern Ukraine, needs immediate restoration. Thus, development and application of tools for its popularization will promote wider awareness of the public of Transcarpathian region and Ukraine in general about its importance and can accelerate solution to the issue of its restoration and, consequently, preservation of an important part of the Ukrainian cultural heritage. The PR-tools include the following: creation of a story-legend, which might be the basis for various video works (from short informative videos targeted at different categories of persons to popular science film with researchers’ scientific comments about the manuscript); sharing them on social networks, as well as on the official pages of relevant ministries (Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ministry of Culture of Ukraine), the websites of institutions of higher education, other educational institutions, on television; creation and use of sound advertising in public transport (cities, regions), print advertising in bookstores and at book exhibitions, etc., banner on billboards and lightboxes, on tourist portals with high attendance; an offer to take a picture opposite the decorations or original installations related to the cultural manuscript, with special hashtags with their further distribution on social networks and blogs; active cooperation with the media; active involvement of young people in manuscript promotion. The events conducted to disseminate information on various modern platforms, including online ones and using a number of PR-tools might expedite solution to the issue to restore the manuscript, as well as to popularize it qualitatively. Baksheev, based on the achievements of N. Nevsky – the founder of the Russian School of Japanese Studies, as well as his colleague A. Sadokova, reconstructed the role of a woman in the ancient Japanese society on the example of mythopoetry of the Ryukyu region. The chronicles «Records of Omorho Songs» (1532 – 1623), «Records about the path of the Ryukyu gods» (1603 – 1606) by the Japanese monk Taytyu: Rio: teya, «The Mirror of the Generations of Thu: Dzan – the Kingdom of the Ryukyu» (1650), «The Genealogy of Thu: Dzan» (1697 – 1701,\u00001874), «The Rite of the High Priestess» (1875) were the sources of the research.\u0000\u0000In the Japanese society, before the Meiji Revolution, at all social levels of its organization, along with a man who had socio-political and economic power – from the head of the house to the head of the rural community and, further, to the regional ruler and the king – there was a priestess\u0000(a relative and mainly a sister). Her functions were to rely on the authority of the leader spiritually and ritually, relying on the deities’ «will». The kings of Ryukyu were forced to rely on mediation of the priestesses so that siji (shōjo magic power) would come from the Other (parallel) light to protect the throne and the prosperity of the state in this light. In those old times, the status of such a priestess was even higher than that of a male ruler who ruled on her behalf. The Russian specialists on Japan define such a structure of power as diarchy («dual power»), and the system of government as theocratic. In the terminology of Japanese researchers, the theocratic system of government is called as the policy of «unity of worship and governance».\u0000\u0000In the XIII – XIV centuries the local and regional rulers were put under the control of the King Ryukyu. The priestesses also lost their independence and had to obey the High Priestess from the royal family. A single secular and religious power was divided into the highest (court) and lower (local) levels.\u0000\u0000A special feature of the Ryukyu mythology is the late records of the texts with preservation of many archaic motifs and their «applied», frankly social and political biased character. One of the main tasks of such myths was consecration of the status of the ruling elite and the magical assertion of its high status to support the current social hierarchy. «The Records of Omoro songs» (a poetic anthology in 22 volumes, which includes 1,553 old ritual priestly chants), as well as «The Records about the path of the Ryukyu gods» were not completed as in the early 17th\u0000century the Kingdom of Ryukyu became the target of aggression from the Japanese clan Satsuma and was under its indirect control

It is military correspondents who have the opportunity and are obliged not only to inform through their materials, but also to raise the next generation. The usual characteristics of reporting: promptness, objectivity, dynamic presentation and balanced conciseness are only intensified when it deals with specific military reports. The objective of the article is to ascertain the genre peculiarities of the modern military report. Theoretical basis. I. Prokopenko, one of the founders of genreology dealt with the problems of reporting skills. M. Vasylenko wrote and published a significant number of articles related to the problems of genre development. It is worth to mention the scientific publications of R. Radchyk, O. Pidlutskyi. Research methods. The article has used a historical and a comparative method, that allowed to show the dynamics of genre development for the last few decades. A separate comparative method was useful when it was necessary to determine the degree of moral and information influence on the reader, in terms of using the latest techniques for coverage of factual material. The method of genre-thematic differentialization was used in the genre definition of individual materials, where the reporting part was inferior to analytics or the interview genre dominated etc. Conclusions. A special course of military journalism should be introduced at the universities where journalism is studied; to invite the reporters who have already visited the front to give lectures and to conduct practical classes; to writу a column, where military reporters will perform with the materials in the periodicals, both printed and electronic ones. The scientific studies and scientific searches in the field of military journalism should be activated.

The objective of the study is to identify the evolutionary changes of the COVID-19 concept field during three days (23.02.2022 – 25.02.2022) based on the titles of Ukrainian and Polish news media texts in their axiological variability. The analysis of concept space is founded both on the principles of frequency of use of lexemes and word combinations, which reflect the course of events related to the coronavirus pandemic, and on the evaluative division of headlines which have neutral, positive or negative connotations. Methodology. The main methods used in the study are contextual, syntagmatic and component analyses. Contextual analysis has allowed us to determine how and by which linguistic means the concept COVID-19 and its concept field are presented. It has also made it possible to show the linguistic means representing the journalists’ desire to convey information to the audience and enabled us to demonstrate the relationship between the nature of linguistic interpretation and the variants of the texts’ axiological paradigm. Syntagmatic analysis, i.e. the analysis of left and right word combinability in the media text, has revealed the subject-object relations in presentation of the concept and the degree of saturation of the concept field with metaphorical models based on the axiological principles. Component analysis has unveiled the specific fea-tures of the meaning structure of individual lexical-semantic variants of words. Results. The main results of the study of 111 headlines of Ukrainian (56) and Polish (55) media messages are development of the COVID-19 concept field based on representation of the medical term as a nuclear concept in the subject-object relations within the headline complex and identification of evolutionary (quantitative and qualitative) changes during the above mentioned three-day period. The most important changes are a significant decrease in the number of COVID publications under the influence of extra-lingual factors (the start of active hostilities in Ukraine on 24 February 2022) as well as situational convergence, i.e. contextually induced overlapping of subnuclear zone verbalisers of several concepts in the headlines of the positive segment in both Ukrainian (COVID-19 – ВІЙНА – ДОПОМОГА – АРМІЯ – ЖИТТЯ) and Polish (COVID-19 – WOJNA – POMOC) media space. Conclusions. It has been established that the linguistic means of different evaluative segments of the field have common and distinctive features. The commonality consists in informing the citizens about the course of events, while the difference lies in

The research method was historical one aimed at studying the specific circumstances of formation of conditions for printing the Azerbaijan press. In particular, these processes that took place in the society in the last decades of the 19th century were the unchanging model of tough imperial policy, and the mass illiteracy of the people. The issues of need to create the pro-gymnasiums for the Muslim community and the efforts of our intelligentsia to conduct the classes in their native language in the schools were touched in the newspapers. Jalil Mamedguluzadeh, the magazine editor was convinced that the magazine «Molla Nasreddin» was created by «nature and time itself» that showed the determining role of the social, political and cultural environment in creation of the Azerbaijan press. The main goal of the press at that time was to appeal to every representative of the Azerbaijan people to find the reserves that were hidden in the public consciousness, related to the real world, but that were not realized. During that specified period, the Azerbaijanis did not have any national school, national organization, or even an ordinary charitable society in the region. However, other nations had daily newspapers, weekly magazines, national secondary schools, charitable societies, banks, various scientific and public publications in their native languages. That was the situation of the Turko-Muslim population in the Caucasus. Therefore it was unthinkable for the society in that situation to have any goals related to national development.

The list of the most common criterias includes: ranking, content, audience, media independence, team, resources, salary, social networks, compliance with the standards and reputation. A comparison of the following criterias for choosing radio and television shows that “Content” lost its absolute advantage among other criterias, although it remained the leader in 2022. “Team”, “Compliance with standards” and “Media independence” increase their importance in comparison with the previous year. The criterion “Salary” showed the greatest growth, which may indicate a decrease in the respondents economic level and the expectation of further economic destruction due to the Russian war on the territory of Ukraine. Does their intensity change; what are the priority groups of stakeholders, the thematic vectors and tonality, what communication channels are used in such circumstances? The study is based on the online survey of representatives of 63 companies operating in Ukraine under the conditions of a full-scale invasion of the russian federation. The questionnaire contained ten multiple-choice questions and one more, which required a detailed answer regarding the general perception of transformations in corporate communications. Based on this, the model of communication behavior of companies in terms of war was analyzed. The study proves that corporate communications remain a strategically important area of management. At the beginning of a full-scale russian aggression, the Ukrainian companies sought not only to preserve the volume of communications but also to increase it. The priority group of stakeholders for them turned out to be the staff, as well as the customers, business partners, authorities and volunteer organizations. The most common topics are the company news, military assistance, volunteering and employee stories. The communication tonality has changed and is defined as optimistic, motivational, sincere and friendly. In the conditions of restrictions, the companies concentrated on using the social networks, groups and channels in messengers and corporate websites. The value of the research is in the fact that it contributes to expansion of understanding of the phenomenon of crisis corporate communications and, from a practical point of view, directs the companies to search for such approaches and methods of dialogue with stakeholders that help businesses to survive during the war.
