In addition, the paper attempts to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of character education through the organizational activities of the IPM at SMK Muhammadiyah Karanganyar. This study was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah Karanganyar, Pekalongan Regency. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation with three stages of data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study concluded that the implementation of character education through the organizational activities of the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM) at the Karanganyar Muhammadiyah Vocational School was carried out systematically, namely, through the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. Activities that support character education at the Karanganyar Muhammadiyah Vocational School are recitation of Qur’an, singing Indonesia Raya songs and Monday and Friday infaq program. This is proven, one of which is with several verses that explore the nature of human creation to the deviations it commits. So guidance, coaching, education, and healing are needed both from the psychological and physiological aspects. So the purpose of this study is to describe the Psychological and Physiological Motives in Humans (Studies on the Verses of the Qur'an). The method used is literature in the process of collecting data, then careful analysis is carried out, and finally, descriptive conclusions are drawn. The results of the study show that the physiological motives in the Qur'an are divided into two parts, namely the motive for being oneself and the motive for preserving offspring. While the psychological motives are divided into four parts, namely ownership motives, competition motives, hostility motives, and religious motives. Ahmad Baha’uddin Nursalim (Gus Baha’) dapat disebut sebagai mufasir youtubi karena namanya semakin dikenal sejak beredar video pengajian tafsir yang ia lakukan diunggah oleh muhibbin-nya di kanal Youtube. Di antara video pengajian tafsir tersebut, pengajian tafsir Gus Baha’ tentang siapa yang dapat disebut sebagai pengikut nabi Isa berdasar pada surah Ali ‘Imran/3: 55 menarik dan penting untuk dikaji karena Gus Baha’ menolak penafsiran yang terdapat pada kitab tafsir yang tengah ia ulas, yaitu Tafsir Jalālain. Penelitian deskriptif analitis ini bersifat etnografi virtual, sehingga informasi bersumber dari lingkungan online yaitu rekaman pengajian tafsir Gus Baha’ yang diunggah di kanal Youtube. Kemudian data dianalisis dan didapati bahwa Gus Baha’ menolak tafsir yang mainstream di masyarakat bahwa umat Kristen merupakan pengikut nabi Isa. Ruang lingkup kajiannya akan difokuskan pada penafsiran Muhammad Quraish Shihab, Buya Syakur Yasin, dan Ahmad Bahauddin Nursalim (Gus Baha’) terhadap surah al-Ḥajj/22: 17. Tiga tokoh di atas dianggap mewakili kecenderungan pemikiran pluralisme di Indonesia. Penelitian ini tergolong jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan kajian analisis konten yang menggunakan pisau analisis wacana kritis milik Tuen A. Van Dijk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi kontestasi ideologi para pendakwah online dalam menafsirkan Al-Qur’an. Hal ini dikarenakan kognisi sosial para pendakwah yang berdialektika dengan paradigma pluralisme agama yang masih diperdebatkan di Indonesia. Adapun ideologi pluralisme agama para pendakwah dalam menafsirkan Al-Qur’an secara umum tergolongkan menjadi tiga, yaitu paham pluralisme deontic-diachronic yang diwakili oleh Gus Baha’, paham pluralisme religius soteriologis (soteriological religious pluralism) yang diwakili Buya Syakur Yasin dan paham pluralisme normatif yang diwakili oleh M. Tafsir al-Qurṭubi ini merupakan salah satu tafsir yang sangat masyhur, diakui, dan dirujuk dalam tradisi keilmuan Islam, baik di Barat maupun di Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dan menjadikan kitab al-Jāmi’ li Aḥkām al-Qur’ān serta al-Muḥarrar al-Wajīz sebagai sumber primer. Sedangkan sumber primer didapatkan dari artikel, buku, dan penelitian lainnya tentang tafsir al-Qurṭubi dan Ibn Aṭiyyah. Artikel ini berangkat dari keniscayaan keterpengaruhan dalam setiap pemikiran dan keilmuan. Setiap penafsir pasti berada dalam situasi tertentu yang dapat mempengaruhi pemahaman dan interpretasinya atas teks yang ditafsirkan, atau dalam hermeneutika Gadamer disebut dengan historically effected consciousness. Artikel ini menemukan bahwa keterpengaruhan al-Qurṭubi dari Ibn Aṭiyyah sangat besar, baik dari sisi metodologis maupun pemikiran. Pengaruh Ibn Aṭiyyah dalam tafsir al-Qurṭubi terlihat dari banyaknya pendapat dan pemikiran Ibn Aṭiyyah yang dinukil al-Qurṭubi dalam tafsirnya, baik dari aspek tafsīr bi al-ma’ṡūr, aspek qira’at, gramatikal nahwu, fikih dan hukum Islam. The study focused on three editions of the Indonesian Al-Qur’an translation published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Republik Indonesia: 1990, 2002, and 2019 editions. This study aimed to describe the translations of the term nafs and the possibilities of translation changes in the three editions. This study used a qualitative design with the descriptive-analytical method. The data sources are texts of Al-Qur’an in Arabic and texts of three editions of Al-Qur’an translation in Indonesian. The results show the translations of the term nafs have several themes: first, nafs as desire; second, nafs as a group; third, nafs refers to a person or human; fourth, nafs as structure within a human. In each theme, there are variations of diction. Pembakuan ini tertuang dalam deskripsi singkat (at-ta‘rīf bi al-muṣḥaf) yang terdapat pada halaman belakang mushaf Al-Qur’an terbitan Kementerian Agama edisi 2020 dan 2021. Hal ini merupakan puncak pengakuan setelah sebelumnya Musyawarah Kerja Ulama tahun 1974-1983 telah membakukan penggunaan rasm riwayat ad-Dānī ini pada mushaf standar Indonesia. Penelitian yang bersifat kajian pustaka ini ingin menjawab alasan dibalik pemilihan rasm usmani riwayat ad-Dānī dan melakukan tarjih terhadapnya daripada riwayat Abū Dāwūd Sulaimān ibn Najāḥ yang banyak digunakan oleh mushaf dari Timur Tengah. Artikel ini juga mengungkap grand design kesarjanaan Saleh untuk merubah sejarah intelektual tafsir yang selama ini-menurutnya-tertutupi oleh gerakan intelektual pengikut Ibn Taymiyyah dan radical hermeneutic-nya, dengan cara merevitalisasi peran penting dari Zamakhsharī-Baiḍawī yang mulai redup di institusi-institusi kajian keislaman. Sumber utama artikel ini adalah tulisan-tulisan Saleh berbentuk artikel jurnal dan buku mulai dari tahun 2004 hingga 2022. Sebagai data sekunder, tulisan dari pemerhati sejarah intelektual tafsir, selain Walid Saleh juga diketengahkan. Dalam konteks Indonesia sudah cukup berkembang. Beberapa resepsi virtual Al-Qur'an telah muncul dengan tampilan khusus yang relatif berbeda dengan luring. “Quran Review” adalah contoh yang mengklaim dirinya sebagai Quranic Start-Up memanfaatkan platform digital untuk mendorong dan mendekatkan Muslim milenial dengan Quran. Sejak 2019, “Quran Review” telah mencapai 319k pengikut di Instagram dan menyediakan berbagai agenda daring. Selain mempromosikan Al-Qur'an secara virtual dengan menafsirkan ayat-ayat, juga mengusulkan beberapa program berbayar. Meskipun para sarjana telah membahas Al-Qur'an dan media sosial dalam mode interpretasi dan resepsi estetis, masih sedikit yang membahas resepsi yang terkait erat dengan bisnis. Untuk berkontribusi pada studi yang ada, artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hal tersebut dan mengamati perkembangan terkini dari penerimaan Quran di ruang virtual melalui “Quran Review”. Kitab Tafsir Sinar berbeda dengan karya-karya sezamannya, seperti Tafsir Al-Azhar karya Buya Hamka dan Tafsir Al-Mishbah karya Quraish Shihab karena disusun dengan tartīb nuzūliy surah. Menggunakan penelitian library research dan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis, artikel ini menganalisis bagaimana latar belakang penulisan, karakteristik atau metodologi, dan penafsiran Malik Ahmad dalam kitab Tafsir Sinar. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Malik Ahmad menulis tafsirnya agar spirit Al-Qur’an dipahami sebagaimana saat diturunkan pada masa awal. Dengan menerapkan sistematika penyajian yang runtut dengan penjelasan yang rinci di dalam tafsirnya, Malik Ahmad menggabungkan pemahaman yang bersumber dari beberapa riwayat dengan pemikirannya, dan merujuk tafsir lain sebagai penguat. Gaya bahasa yang dipakai adalah gaya reportase dan tidak terikat dengan kaidah penulisan ilmiah.
