(2) Explaining the skills of writing a movie review text for grade XI of SMA N 7 Padang after using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by audiovisual media. (3) Explain the influence of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by audiovisual media on the skills of writing film review texts on grade XI students of SMA N 7 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The design of this research is one group pretest and posttest design. The population in this study were class XI students of SMA N 7 Padang, who were registered in the 2018/2019 school year as many as 332 people. The sample in this study was 33 students who were determined using a technique (purposive sampling). The variable of this study is the text writing skills of film reviews before and after using the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by audiovisual media of class XI students of SMA N 7 Padang. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive method. The data of this study are qualitative data in the form of the use of types of figures and techniques for the presentation of the character's character in the students' short stories. The data were analyzed by steps, namely (1) the researcher identified a general description of the data analyzed as well as coding the text, (2) inventorying the research data coding, (3) analyzing the characters and characterizing short story texts by students, (4) interpreting data based on theory and conclude the findings then write the report. Based on the results of the study, the results of the research there were two. First, the types of figures that tend to be used by grade IX SMP Negeri 21 Padang in the short story texts written are additional figures, protagonists, simple characters, static figures and neutral figures. Second, the technique of presenting figures that tends to be used by IX grade students at SMP Negeri 21 Padang in writing short stories is analytical techniques, action techniques, and word techniques. The purpose of this study is three. First, describe the effectiveness of the sentence in the exposition text of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Padang Panjang in terms of the accuracy of sentence structure. Second, describe the effectiveness of the sentence in the exposition text of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Padang Panjang in terms of the accuracy of word choice. Third, describe the effectiveness of sentences in the exposition text of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Padang Panjang in terms of spelling accuracy. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive method. The source of this research data is the task of students in writing exposition text class VIII Padang Panjang Middle School 1 which was registered in 2018/2019. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling, which is 30 students' work. The results of the study are three. First, the effectiveness in terms of sentence structure is 344 effective sentences and 121 sentences are not effective. Second, the effectiveness of sentences in terms of word choices have 21 effective sentences and 444 sentences not effective. Third, the effectiveness of the sentence in terms of spelling found 253 effective sentences and 212 sentences were not effective. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that of the 465 sentences studied there were 81 effective sentences and 370 sentences not effective. The type of this study is qualitative research with descriptive method and using triangulation technique to validate the data. The research data is in the form of words, phrases, sentences, and discourses that show the actions of the characters, the words of the characters and the narrator, which indicate the values of character education found in Tere Liye's novel Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin. The data collection technique of this study is to read and understand Tere Liye's novel Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin then recording the data related to character education values in Tere Liye's novel Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin in the form of units of events from character’s behavior. The data analysis technique of this research is describing the values of character education in Tere Liye's novel Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin which is seen in a unit of character events, classifying, analyzing data, interpreting, and compiling reports.As the results of the research founded 72 values of character education, namely 5 values of religious character education, 17 values of hard work character education, 4 values of independent character education, 6 values of curiosity character education, 5 values of education value achievement, 9 values of friendly character education, 3 values of character education are fond of reading, 15 values of moral value character education, and 8 values of education responsibility. The most dominant valueof character education in Tere Liye's novel Daun yang Jatuh ismoral value character education as much as 15 data. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The design of this study was one group pretest and posttest design. The population in this study were 167 students. The sample in this study were 28 students who were determined using purposive sampling technique. The variable of this research is fable text writing skills before and after using the discovery learning learning model assisted by audiovisual media of VII grade students of UPT SMP Negeri 1 Koto XI Tarusan. The instrument of this research is the performance test. The results of this study are three, namely as follows. First, fable text writing skills before using the discovery learning model assisted by audiovisual media of VII grade students of UPT SMP 1 Koto XI Tarusan are more than Sufficient (LdC) qualifications with an average of 72.62. Second, fable text writing skills after using the discovery learning model assisted by audiovisual media in seventh grade students of UPT SMP 1 Koto XI Tarusan are in a Good qualification (B) with an average of 81.25. Third, based on the t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H_1) is received at a significant level of 95% and the degree of freedom (dk) = n-1 because of tcount> t table, which is 2.73> 1.70. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method and correlational design. The sample in this study amounted to 44 people. The data of this research is score the mastery of the vocabulary environment the exposition text and skill test result writting the text of exposition. The data were gotten through an objective test intended to measure the students the mastery of the vocabulary environment and performance test intended to measure the students skills of writting the text of exposition. Based on data analysis, the following three things are obtained. First, skill of writing the exposition text students in class VIII padang Panjang Junior High School 3 is in good qualification (81,91). Second, the skill the mastery of the vocabulary environment the exposition text of students in class VIII padang Panjang Junior High School 3 is in good qualification (82,05). Third, there was a significant corelation between the students the mastery of the vocabulary environment of exposition text with the skills of writing the exposition text of strudent of class VIII padang Panjang Junior High School 3 in which the significance level 95% with the degrees of freedom n-1 (dk = n-1). Based on this, it was concluded that writing an exposition text requers the mastery of environmental vocabulary. Third, to describe the contribution of the effective sentence mastery into the writing skills of a exposition text made by the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang. The design of this research was quantitative with a descriptive method. Then, this study also was a correlational design. The population of this study was the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang for about 498 students. The sample of this study was taken by using a proportional random sampling technique (15%), which was 70 students. The data of this study were the results of effective sentence mastery and the results of the writing skill of a exposition text. The instrument of this study was an objective test to measure effective sentence mastery and performance tests to measure expositon text. There were several results of this study. First, the effective sentence mastery of the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang was in Good qualifications (B). Second, the writing skills of a exposition of the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang was in a Good qualification (B). Third, describe the effective sentence mastery contributed 82,00% to the exposition text writing skills of the first year students of SMK Negeri 2 Padang. The data of this research are in the form of structure and linguistic elements from students' descriptions. The data source of this research is the description text of Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang. The research instrument is the researcher himself. Data collection techniques through documentation study. The data collection technique in this research is the triangulation technique (Cross-Check). Data were analyzed by steps, (1) identifying common elements contained in the description text, (2) analyzing the text based on the aspects studied, namely the structure and linguistic elements of the description text, (3) the results of the analysis from the researcher were re-examined by the informant triangulation, (4) make conclusions. Based on the results of the study, the following three things were concluded. First, the structure of the text consists of the identification and description of parts. Identification / General description In the text description of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang as a whole have been identified. Of the 35 data that have identification, there are 11 data that combine identification with the Description section. Next, the general description of the student's writing section is detailed. Evident from 35 texts that have a section description structure there are 14 texts whose description section consists of one paragraph and 1 text whose description of the section joins with identification. Second, in terms of language. The basic pattern of sentences that students use most often is SPK, while the sentence that is used most rarely is SPOPel. Third, the pattern of student reasoning that is most widely used is deductive reasoning. Of the 87 paragraphs there are 70 paragraphs using deductive reasoning, 2 paragraphs using inductive reasoning, and 15 paragraphs of incorrect reasoning patterns.
