First, describing reading skills understanding the text description of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang. Second, describe the writing skills of description text for class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang. Third, describe the correlation of reading text description understanding with writing text description skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang. The population of this study was seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang who were registered in the 2018/2019 school year with 192 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 25% of the population, which is 48 students. Based on data analysis and discussion, three research results are obtained as follows. First, reading skills understanding the text description of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang in good qualifications. This can be seen from the acquisition of a calculated average of 81.35. Second, the writing text description skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang are in good qualification. This can be seen from the acquisition of a calculated average of 77.15. Third, there is a significant correlation between reading skills in the description of text description and writing text description skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang in the n-1 freedom degree and 95% significant level. H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because the test results prove that the tcount is greater than t table, namely (4.51> 1.68). This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method. The design used is correlational design. The study population was grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 32 Padang who were enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year, which was 196 students. The study sample was determined by proportional random sampling of 25% of the population, namely 49 students. The research data is in the form of a reading skill test score understanding and the score of the exsposition for writing the text exsposition. There are two instruments for this research, namely objective tests to measure reading skills, comprehension and performance tests to measure the exsposition for writing text skills. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that there was a significant correlation between reading skills, text comprehension, and exsposition writing skills in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 32 Padang. at the real level (α) of 95% with n-1 freedom degrees in other words if the reading skills of students 'exsposition text comprehension are good, then students' writing skills are also good. Conversely, if the reading skills of students 'exsposition text comprehension are bad then the students' writing exsposition text skills are also bad. First, it describes the reading skills of students in class VII of SMP Negeri 31 Padang. Secondly, it describes the writing skills of the description text of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 31 Padang. Third, explaining the relationship between reading comprehension skills and description writing skills for grade VII students of SMP Negeri 31 Padang. The population of this research is VII grade students of SMP Negeri 31 Padang who are enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year with 256 students spread in eight classes. The sample in this study amounted to 48 people. Samples were taken using a simple random technique with a proportion of 20% using a proportional random sampling technique. Based on the results of the study, the following three things were concluded. First, the reading skills of Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 31 Padang meet good qualifications. This is calculated based on an average count of 81.80. Second, the writing skills of the description text of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 31 Padang in accordance with qualifications is more than enough. This can be seen from the average description text written test of 79.51. Third, a significant discussion between reading comprehension skills and description writing skills of Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 31 Padang at n-1 degrees of freedom and a significant level of 95%. H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because the results prove the value of tcount is greater than t table 8.01> 1.68. The type of this research is quantitative with descriptive methods. The design used in this research is correlational design. The population of this research was the seventh grade students of the SMP Negeri 7 Padang who were enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year, which was 251 students. The sample in this research was determined by simple random sampling using the Slovin formula from the population, which is 40 students. The data of this research were scores on the results of filling in the reading interest questionnaire, the scores on the results of filling in the learning motivation questionnaire, and scores on the results of the test writing skills of the description text. The instrument of this research was a questionnaire to measure reading interest and student learning motivation and performance tests to measure description text writing skills. The results of this research are three. First, there is a contribution of reading interest towards the writing text description skills of 26,13%. Second, there is a contribution of learning motivation to the writing text description skills of 3,2%. Third, reading interest and learning motivation contribute to the writing text description skills of 30,25%. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data source in this study is Ayu Utami's Saman novel. The data in this study are words, phrases, clauses, and sentences that show the form of feminism in the novel. The subject of this research is the researcher himself with the help of other instruments in the form of a recording sheet. The data collection technique, which is reading and understanding Ayu Utami's Saman novel, conducts literature studies related to research problems, and searches and records data relating to research problems contained in the novel. The data validation technique uses triangulation techniques. The results of the study were found as participants. First, there are two forms of feminism in Ayu Utami's Saman novel, namely verbal and nonverbal forms. Verbal form is a form of the character's struggle through verbal utterances by the characters. And nonverbal forms are physical actions of characters. Second, the application of feminism in Ayu Utami's Saman novel in 2013 class XII high school text learning curriculum with basic competencies related to three aspects of assessment, namely the assessment of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The data of this study are the scores on the vocabulary mastery test results and the scores on the exposition text writing skills test results. Data is obtained through two types of tests, namely objective tests to measure vocabulary mastery and performance tests to measure exposition text writing skills. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, three things are concluded as follows. First, the vocabulary mastery of grade X students of SMK Negeri 2 Padang is in a qualification More Than Enough (72.36). Second, the exposition writing skills of the X grade students of SMK Negeri 2 Padang are in Good qualification (78.68). Third, the mastery of vocabulary correlates with the writing skills of exposition text students of class X SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Thus, for exposition text writing skills, vocabulary mastery is needed. The reason for this research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman Regency, grade VII, was the strategy of teacher's utterance on how students sometimes still use mixed code in their speech. The intended speech acts such as speech acts praise, blame, criticize, thank you, congratulate, and condolence. Data collection was carried out by the skillful free listening (SBLC) technique, recording, and recording. Data obtained from recordings are then transcribed into written language. Based on the data analysis conducted it can be concluded as follows. First, the results of this study indicate that Indonesian language teachers in class VII 1 of SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung use four types of expressive speech acts, namely expressive speech acts praise, expressive blame speech acts, expressive speech acts criticize, and expressive speech acts to thank. Secondly, the strategy of speaking Indonesian language teachers in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman District, there are four, namely to speak frankly without further ado, to be forthright with pleasant politeness, to be forthright with small talk of negative politeness, and strategy berututr vaguely. First, the effectiveness of sentences in terms of language accuracy, there are 175 (62.94%) errors. Ineffectiveness of the sentence based on elements of syntactic functions (28 errors), missing sentence elements (13 errors), redundant sentence elements (134 errors). Second, the effectiveness of sentences in terms of word accuracy has 18 (06.47%) errors. Ineffectiveness of the sentence lies in the accuracy of the concept (5 errors) and the accuracy of the usage context (13 errors). Third, the effectiveness of sentences in terms of spelling accuracy is 165 (58.63%) errors. The ineffectiveness of the sentence is in the use of capital letters (72 errors), the use of periods (5 errors), the use of commas (40 errors), and writing words (46 errors). Based on these results it can be concluded that the sentences in the news text of class VIII students at SMP Pembangunan Laboratory Laboratory are not effective. This is evidenced from the 278 sentences studied, there were 76 (27.33%) effective sentences and 202 (72.66%) ineffective sentences with 356 errors. The data collection techniques in this study are recording techniques, observations, and record-taking techniques. Based on the findings of research, we can conclude things here.
