The primary domain of this study encompasses the evaluation of impact of Financial Openness and Trade Openness on CAB, over a select period of time (long run and short run), through the Auto Regressive Distributed Lag model (ARDL). ARDL model was developed and tested empirically, in order to anticipate the likely existence of stationarity associated with the time series data over the study period. Empirical results suggested that both the selected variables (FO and TO), have significant impact on CAB in long run whereas in case of short term, it was observed that only TO had significant impact on CAB. Therefore, researchers concluded that policy makers should focus more on Trade Openness to increase the exports over a short as well as long period of time. Similarly, on import basis government should concentrate more on FDI inflows over long run, which shall lead to an increase in employment level and productivity that shall finally act as an impetus to increase the exports from India to the rest of world.","PeriodicalId":318809,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Enterprise Information System","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127573034","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Horticulture in general and apple in particular has emerged as the backbone of Himachal Economy. Apple, being a temperate fruit is grown in the high altitude regions and in Himachal Pradesh almost all the districts, except Una, apple production takes place in various magnitudes. As Hills are early indicators of climate change, any significant change in climatic pattern would definitely have cascading effect on the hill economies like Himachal Pradesh. Since, a considerable part of Gross state domestic product (GSDP) and employment comes from that subsector of the hill economy, it is important to study how it is affected by changing climatic patterns. This paper is an attempt to quantify the impact of changing climatic patterns on the production and productivity of apple in H.P using the empirical methods.","PeriodicalId":318809,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Enterprise Information System","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122975229","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This results in hiring of employees on temporary/contractual basis. This situation is especially bad among the teachers belonging to various government schools and colleges in Delhi. Our study investigated certain psychological causes for the feeling of Job Insecurity among teachers. Perceived Organizational Change and Role Ambiguity were studied as the potential antecedents of Job Insecurity. Detrimental impact of Job Insecurity on the Mental and Physical Health of such employees were also studied. A sample of 110 temporary/contractual/ad-hoc teachers belonging to MCD schools and several colleges from University of Delhi was used for this study. ‘Partial Least Square’ technique of ‘Structural Equation Modeling’ was applied using ‘SmartPLS 2.0.M3’ to understand the proposed relationships. Results show both Perceived Organizational Change and Role Ambiguity significantly contribute towards Job Insecurity, where the effect of Perceived Organizational Change was particularly high. Job Insecurity was found to negatively affect Mental and Physical Health of the employees. Mental effect in terms of stress and anxiety was found to be especially prominent.","PeriodicalId":318809,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Enterprise Information System","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121561890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Data available at social networking sites is one of the most effective and accurate source to identify the public sentiment of any product/service. In this paper, we propose a novel localized opinion mining model based on common sense information extracted from ConceptNet ontology. The proposed methodology allows interpretation and utilization of data extracted from social media site “Twitter” to identify public opinions. This paper includes location specific, male- female specific and concept specific popularities of product. All extracted concepts are used to calculate senti_score and to build a machine learning model that classifies the user opinions as positive or negative.","PeriodicalId":318809,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Enterprise Information System","volume":"28 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132371208","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Flywheels find its application in number of fields ranging from IC engine of 2-wheeler to more powerful jet engines. Increase in Kinetic Energy of flywheel is the most critical factor for the design engineers. The literature survey shows that flywheel can be redesign for mass optimization which results light weight and Increase in storage capacity. In this project work, an attempt is made to redesign the existing flywheel in terms of its geometry and different materials. Different cross sections of the flywheel are designed using 3D designing software Solidworks 2015. Finite Element analysis is used to calculate the Maximum Rotational speed the flywheel and the amount of Kinetic energy stored at that speed. The results shows that flywheel with Triangular cross sectional geometry and made of S-glass epoxy composite material stores highest Kinetic Energy per unit mass compare to all other combination of Geometries and materials. This New design of flywheel saves weight by 65.252kg compared to existing designs.","PeriodicalId":318809,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Enterprise Information System","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114681679","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A large number of Micro Finance Institutions (MFIs) in India are serving to the financing needs of rural and semi-urban Indian population. For achieving the target of financial inclusion in India this sector cannot be ignored. Generally daily wage earners, marginal farmers, women working from homes are the clients of MFIs. Such clients work only cash basis. Collection of loan is generally done by MFIs on weekly or fortnightly basis. The objective of the paper is to analyze the short and medium term positive and negative effects of many government decisions including demonetization on MFIs in India. This study will give more insights about the impact of the demonetization and other government policy framework on MFIs in India.","PeriodicalId":318809,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Enterprise Information System","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122581472","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
