The selection of contractors is one way to make decisions, the method that is widely used in decision making is the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, although this method is very old, this method is still widely used, because AHP is one of the popular decision-making methods for decision making. multi-criteria (MCDM), by taking a case study in a well-known palm oil company headquartered in Jakarta (Indonesia). The use of metal materials needs to be studied because before they are used in the industry, their designation must be known first so that these materials can be optimized in their use. The process of processing metal materials must pay attention to their type and properties in advance, especially in the process of forming and behavior during use. So that in its application it can be following the specifications of raw materials in a product that is produced. This study aims to find out and identify how important the role of metal materials is in their application in the world of the Indonesian manufacturing industry. This research method uses a systematic literature review method by collecting 20 articles related to the use of metal materials in various manufacturing industries from several national journals on the Google Scholar database. This research found several dominant articles published in 2020 and focused on the alloy casting industry. The results obtained from the collected data are that the use of metal materials plays an important role in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. XYZ adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang jasa painting di Indonesia, produk yang dikerjakan adalah painting Body EGR. Body EGR (Turbo Charging) adalah salah satu produk yang bertujuan meningkatkan tenaga mesin dan suara yang dihasilkan menjadi lebih halus. Body EGR (Turbo Charging) banyak dijumpai pada kendaraan roda empat dengan mesin diesel, seperti truk dan kendaraan roda empat lainnya yang menggunakan mesin diesel. Painting Body EGR (Turbo Charging) merupakan produk penting pada PT. XYZ , maka dibutuhkan analisa peningkatan kualitas yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis cara mengurangi defect wavy pada Body EGR (Turbo Charging) diPT. XYZ. Dengan menggunakan metode Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA). Pada tahap Plan Perencanaan untuk mencari dan jenis defect yang paling dominan dan akar penyebab terjadinya produk cacat. Jenis defect paling dominan untuk Body EGR (Turbo Charging) diperoleh 5 jenis. Dengan membuat diagram Pareto dan mencari penyebab terjadinya defect wavy pada Body EGR (Turbo Charging). Berdasarkan diagram pareto, penelitian fokus memperbaiki 1 jenis defect yaitu jenis defect wavy lalu dicarilah faktor penyebab defect tersebut menggunakan diagram Fishbone.Tahap Do Setelah diketahui penyebab terjadinya defect,Menentukan sasaran dan tujuan dalam tindakan perbaikan dan identifikasi produk cacat dan dibantu oleh tools 5W+1H. Tahap Check dilakukan pemeriksaan dengan menggunakan Failure Mode Effect and Analysis (FMEA), di dapatlah nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) yang paling tinggi yaitu sebesar 144,yaitu posisi nozzle kurang pas,dan recommended action yang diberikan berupa usulan untuk pembuatan checksheet khusus untuk pengecekan posisi nozzle sebelum produksi. Jaya Subur Makmur merupakan salah satu industri penggilingan padi yang terdapat di Kota Karawang. Dengan adanya pembelian mesin baru, perusahaan ingin mengetahui pendapatan dan BEP dari mesin baru tersebut. Analisis Break Even Point (BEP) digunakan manajemen untuk mengetahui berapa tingkat penjualan yang wajib dicapai agar perusahaan berada pada titik impas. Nilai BEP lebih kecil dari harga jual maka perusahaan dalam posisi yang menguntungkan dan tidak berada pada titik impas. Total penerimaan yang diperoleh dari usaha penggilingan padi di CV. Jaya Subur Makmur ialah sebesar Rp 550.000.000 dengan total biaya yang dikeluarkan sebesar Rp 526.894.844. Sehingga total pemasukkan yang diperoleh dari usaha penggilingan padi di CV. Jaya Subur Makmur setelah dipotong dengan 20% dari pemasukkan yaitu sebesar Rp 18.484.125 dalam waktu satu bulan. Dengan R/C > 1 yaitu dimana perusahaan bisa di katakan layak untuk di kembangkan. BEP usaha penggilingan padi pada CV. Jaya Subur Makmur diperoleh BEP unit sebesar 106.015 kg dan didapatkan BEP harga sebesar Rp 9.580. Terdapat stasiun kerja produksi tahu yang posisi kerjanya kurang ergonomis dengan posisi membungkuk, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi resiko cidera dan memperbaiki postur tubuh dengan membuat alat bantu. salah satu cara untuk mengurangi keluhan operator sehingga mengurangi risiko cidera pekerjaanya dan memberikan usulan perbaikan alat kerja dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan Metode OWAS (Ovako Working Analisys System) dan QEC (Quick Exposure Checklist) untuk usulan perbaikan postur kerja menggunakan software Blender. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil dari analisis dua metode OWAS dan QEC berupa postur kerja yang butuh perbaikan. Pada Metode OWAS pada operator pencetakan tahu dihasilkan kode postur 4-1-4-1 yang termasuk ke tingkat resiko pada OWAS kategori 4, yang berarti perlu perbaikan saat ini juga. Pada metode QEC pada operator pencetakan tahu dihasilkan Exposure Level sebesar 75% yang berarti butuh Tindakan sekarang juga. XYZ. PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of household appliances such as spoons, forks and knives. During the second quarter of 2021, the number of work accident cases that occurred was 10 cases. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research that aims to minimize the risk of hazards that occur in the forging line using the SWIFT method. The results of the study contained 13 potential hazards with a classification based on the RRN value of 2 including low priority categories, 6 medium priority categories, 5 risks in the main priority categories. This paper presents the stages of risk analysis using the HoR (House of Risk) approach. The author uses the project manager as an expert in the field of ERP system implementation. Pilar Cakrawala adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industry electroplating dan mempunyai penyimpanan buffer stock Part Hammer Weight yang belum diproses pada sistem Barrel masih satu lokasi dengan area penyimpanan part proses gantung,  Serta produktivitas pada proses Line barrel yang tidak maksimal diakibatkan tidak idealnya hasil produksi proses barrel yang seharusnya 14 kali proses dalam 1 line perharinya, PT. Pilar Cakrawala sendiri memproses 14 kali dengan menggunakan 3 line line barrel dalam satu shift. Tahap penyelesaian penelitian ini menggunakan metode Algoritma Blocplan untuk mencari layout dengan adjust score tertinggi.
