Firstly, the input signal is transformed into frequency domain by FFT algorithm. Secondly, the energy of the low frequency band and high frequency band is calculated to determine whether frequency shifting is required to increase the audibility of consonants. Thirdly, the spectral samples in each bark-scale channel are compressed towards the band center by a constant factor to reduce the effect of spectral masking. Finally, frequency envelope shaping is utilized to increase the audibility of the whole frequency band. Five subjects with moderate sensorineural hearing loss participate the test. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm out perform the conventional frequency lowering methods.","PeriodicalId":318523,"journal":{"name":"2016 Eighth International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation (ICMTMA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130716282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to learn the dynamic response of car to concrete pole impact and fracture mechanics of concrete pole, a finite element model of vehicle-pole collision was developed and validated. Then, three impacts between car and concrete pole under the different speed was carried out. The results show that the maximum longitudinal intrusion of the vehicle increased 13.9% as the speed increasing from 30 to 70km/h, while the proportion of absorbing energy by car to the total kinetic energy decreased from 43.6% down to 14.6%. The concrete poles are damaged in all cases due to the shear force, and the damage degree and break-point of pole are different at three speeds. This provides a helpful reference to the design of frontal car body and the concrete pole strength design in impact loading.","PeriodicalId":318523,"journal":{"name":"2016 Eighth International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation (ICMTMA)","volume":"85 22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130861758","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It makes deep study on speech signal, including sparsity and measurement matrix on different bases, and the influence on reconstruction effects. According to the principle theory and necessary conditions of measurement matrix this paper put forward an improved scheme. For the problem in slow reconstruction speed and given iteration numbers, we adopt the idea of selection criteria for matching atoms and backward projection in optimal orthogonal matching algorithm to perform iterative reconstruction. By experiments compared to original algorithms, the improved scheme can obtain accurate reconstruction signals and better performance, reducing the number of sampling points simultaneously.","PeriodicalId":318523,"journal":{"name":"2016 Eighth International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation (ICMTMA)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131729755","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the objective of this study was to understand the vehicle-to-vehicle rear end accident characteristics in detail, focusing on parameters important for design of active safety systems. Two current Chinese real world accident data-bases were queried for vehicle-to-vehicle rear end crashes. In total, 102 cases were selected for further detailed study regarding accident scene, lighting conditions (daytime and night), target vehicle status before the crash, and crash offset. In Chinese real world rear end accidents with passenger car as rear (striking) vehicle, passenger cars and trucks are most common collision opponents. The car-to-truck accident is the most severe rear end accident type, since under-ride occurs frequently. To protect more occupants in passenger cars in rear end accidents, more attention should be paid on the car-to-truck rear end accidents. A possible effective countermeasure is an AEB system able to detect both cars and trucks, trucks preferably also in night conditions.","PeriodicalId":318523,"journal":{"name":"2016 Eighth International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation (ICMTMA)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124739693","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
