Analysis of different test methods of NHTSA RMDB offset oblique, IIHS small overlap and car-car 25% small overlap is made. A mid-level sedan is chosen for the test of three kinds of offset impact. Through the comparative analysis of car body deformation, body motion state and dummy injury, differences among these tests are figured out. We will show how a two-step MMSE MIMO estimator can be used to facilitate packet detection as well as to provide superior bit error rate performance. This proposed detector takes channel estimation errors into account by the statistical characteristics of MMSE MIMO channel estimation. When compared with existing soft-output MMSE MIMO detector, simulation results show that the proposed novel detector can remarkably reduce the residual error floor due to the channel estimation errors, while achieving significant performance gain at the cost of negligible increase of complexity. Signal integrity issues are identified and solved, which has become increasingly critical. This paper analyzes deeply the reasons for signal integrity problems. By the simulation software Hyperlynx, we can simulate the process of signal integrity problems generated such as reflection and crosstalk generated, and then solutions for the problems are proposed: using the termination technology and increasing sensitive space between signal lines. By the modeling and simulation of UM-BUS transmission system, the eye diagrams of UM-BUS system are measured. However, it has a serious problem, which is the endpoint effect. Mirror continuation is an effective method of restraining the endpoint effect, but when processing the endpoint effect with the mirror continuation, we demand the mirror placed at the local extreme points. According to this limitation, this paper proposes an improved mirror continuation method. Namely, we assume the two endpoints of signals are maximum or minimum points according to the condition before using the mirror continuation, and then do the mirror continuation. It can overcome the error of continuation, which is generated for the reason that the place where the mirror put is not extreme point in the mirror continuation method.
