The appearance of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), and the Internet as a backbone for them, has created a new discrimination between those who have access to them and those who do not. Minority cultures are defined by the fact that they have been overcome by a dominant culture; therefore, they often suffer more urgent evils than their identity loss (unemployment, poverty, social discrimination, etc.). This makes it also more difficult for them to reafirm their roots, since doing so means that they will be living at a lower standard than if they integrated in the dominant culture. Reyes","doi":"10.14201/EKS.19035","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.14201/EKS.19035","url":null,"abstract":"The conditions of the indigenous peoples of Mexico are, inter alia, determined by the national assimilation politics of the Mexican government. Unter the name of the so-called Indigenismo, official programmes for the assimilation and acculturation of the native population are carried out. Rejecting the disregard of indigenous self-reliance and plurality, Mexican indigenous peoples claim the recognition and implementation of their rights and make efforts to put local constructions of autonomy into practice. However, the sector of education and formation forms an important junction within the debate of indigenous autonomy: it is claimed both by governmental integration programmes and by the indigenas in the course of the establishment of an independent indigenous education. Also the Wixaritari, people of the Sierra Madre Occidental, respond to the issue for autonomous indigenous formation themselves, “from below”, in their own way. An analysis is made of the process of convergence towards the European Higher Education System and the progressive introduction of information, communication and documentation technologies as opportunities for improving quality and teaching renewal. Some of the characteristics of the teaching proposals that form part of virtual learning environments are also examined. The article examines the following areas of learning and generic and ethical competen-cies in the university: curricular content, interpersonal relationships, models of social organisation of learning, and evaluation of students' learning processes. Carrasco","doi":"10.14201/EKS.19417","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.14201/EKS.19417","url":null,"abstract":"Las emociones pueden ser entendidas de diferentes modos dependiendo de las disciplinas desde las que nos planteemos estudiarlas (neurofisiologia, filosofia, etc.). En Inteligencia Artificial el aspecto que interesa del estudio de las emociones es el de buscar que tipos de requisitos estructurales son satisfechos por los estados emocionales y que mecanismos funcionales subyacen a los procesos emotivos con el fin de reproducirlos en arquitecturas artificiales. En este articulo se hace una revision de las arquitecturas emocionales mas importantes a lo largo de la historia de la Inteligencia Artificial lo que permite, por otro lado, poner en evidencia el problema de las estrategias tradicionales en la implementacion de modelos emocionales: En todas subyace el caracter dualista emocion- razonamiento que se ha asignado tradicionalmente a la cognicion humana. Los trabajos mas modernos en neurofisiologia de las emociones han llevado a los investigadores en Inteligencia Artificial a mostrar un aumento de interes por el diseno de sistemas emocionales y a plantearse nuevas arquitecturas, sin proponerse si los sistemas artificiales pueden tener realmente emociones como las de los humanos, y concentrandose en como pueden ser reproducidas las emociones exclusivamente desde una perspectiva funcional. Del mismo modo, tambien analizamos las aportaciones pedagogicas de estos modelos de conocimiento procesal al campo de la educacion matematica. Pérez","doi":"10.14201/EKS.19203","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.14201/EKS.19203","url":null,"abstract":"En este trabajo, presentamos una linea de estudios que tiene como finalidad desarrollar una pedagogia emocional, fundamentada teoricamente en el enfoque sociocultural y respaldada por trabajos empiricos que orienten modelos y propuestas para una coeducacion sentimental. Tematicas como el fracaso escolar, la teleformacion y e-learning y la coeducacion articulan los trabajos empiricos y tesis doctorales de esta linea sobre emociones y educacion. Posteriormente, presentamos un estudio orientado a la identificacion de patrones emocionales en procesos de fracaso escolar. Como metodologia se emplea el analisis de discursos autobiograficos recogidos a traves de una serie de entrevistas apoyadas en fotografias como elementos estimulo.
