The Chinese history of “Ye Xian”is known as part of a literary monument of the IX century; Russian texts having a folklore nature appeared much later, in the XIX century. Their comparison allows us toidentify common plot elements and culturally determined differences. In addition, the inclusion of a literary monument with oral origins in the corresponding typological series of folklore works reveals the range of “narrative perspectives”of the plot: the set of possible variations of narrative elements and their semantic possibilities becomes more obvious. The Chinese version of “Cinderella”has obvious genre features of a fairy tale: its main character is an orphan girl who is rewarded inthe end by marriage with the ruler, who found her by the shoe shelost.The plot of “Ye Xian”is a contamination with another plot type: in the first part of the fairy tale, the main character receives help from thebones of a magic animal (a large fish, which she tookcare of). At the same time, the narrative frame models the fairy tale as the life story of a particular girl who belonged to the Dong people. A peculiar violation of the narrative laws of a folk tale can be seen in the fact that after the wedding, the life of the main character is pushed to the periphery of the plot, and the events associated with her husband, the ruler of the island, are in the center. The Chinese version is also interesting because itincludes signs of a different genre –an etiological legend: the story of Ye Xian becomes an explanation of the local toponym and the revered object named by it (the legendary grave of a stepmother and her daughter, where people came to ask for a good bride).The appendix to the article includes the author'stranslation of the fairy tale “Ye Xian”from Chinese into Russian.","PeriodicalId":31432,"journal":{"name":"Caesura Journal of Philological and Humanistic Studies","volume":"36 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80844154","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the process oftransformation of Yugoslav society, the resource of culture was crucial. The paper focuses on the basic principles upon which the cultural policy in the new Yugoslavia was built, whose specificity was largely conditioned by the current political and educational situation. Based on theavailable archival material, the paper analyzes the fundamental ideas in the specific field, in the periods before and after the conflict with the Information Bureau (Cominform). The differences between the two periodsshowhow important the social factors are in the formulation of the goals of the cultural policy. Namely, in the first years there is a strong sovietization in the cultural field, where the following of the Soviet modelsin politics is especiallynoticeable. In the 1950s began desovietization,а process that consisted of abandoning the Soviet model of cultural practices, abandonment of the ideological matrix of socialist realism and introduction of self-administrativesocialism, which would contribute to acertain democratization in the fieldof cultural production","PeriodicalId":31432,"journal":{"name":"Caesura Journal of Philological and Humanistic Studies","volume":"47 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84564267","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

More precise structural research has shown that even the Slavic translations of the Byzantine hymnography reflected particular authorial interventions inthe Byzantine form, as the translator was unable to fully adapt the original identicalversification or the music(the melody)fromthe originalinto its translation, and sometimes there was a disruption of the original acrostic in the canonical songs. However, even the so-called original hymnographic works intended to eulogize and celebrate, were composed from a textual and structural perspective only in support of the Byzantine creative cliché, and they were supposed to reflect the general Christian theological views and cult impressions.","PeriodicalId":31432,"journal":{"name":"Caesura Journal of Philological and Humanistic Studies","volume":"85 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89034988","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Khodasevich. In his latest book of poetry “European Night” and other emigration poems several portraits of people of the masses can be discovered: men, women, single people, married couples, old people, children as well as collective images. Thereby in“German” and “French” poetry Khodasevich creates a model of European society in the period between two world wars. Moreover, in works written in Germany and France the poet addresses the conflict between the main character (the poet) and the man of the masses. This conflict is based on the impossibility of the latter to understand art. On the surface, the two stories seem to have different plots and different characters, but if we look beyond the manifest content we find the same conflict latent to both tales: the conflict of the two generations of women, the old mother and the daughter in law. Talestalk about subverting and re-establishing female hierarchies, about subjecting to or rebelling against the rule of the matriarch. In both tales, the masculine is marginal, a mere object, while feminine is active; the subject. The female position, differentiated into the heroine and the villain(esse), is in each of the stories studied from the different perspective, i.e. the different character is the subject. „Stribor's forest“ demonizes the daughter in law and proclaims her power over the male illegal andher sexuality monstrous, while the old mother is raised to the pedestal of the defender of the righteous order of the maternal rule. In contrast, „Bridesman Sun and Bride Bridekins“ casts the rebel in the role of the heroine. Rejecting the maternal choice of a husband, she opposes oppressive maternal rule, described as monstrous, and successfully takes over.","PeriodicalId":31432,"journal":{"name":"Caesura Journal of Philological and Humanistic Studies","volume":"44 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78045142","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
