{"title":"La decoración escultórico-arquitectónica de carácter funerario en el Conventus Cluniensis","authors":"María Angeles Gutiérrez Behemerid","doi":"10.5944/ETFI.10.2017.19341","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5944/ETFI.10.2017.19341","url":null,"abstract":"El analisis detallado, tanto estilistico como tipologico, de un variado conjunto de materiales arquitectonicos y escultoricos, mayoritariamente descontextualizado, ha permitido constatar su caracter funerario asi como su posible vinculacion con diferentes tipologias funerarias dentro las categorias mas habituales en el mundo romano: la edicula sobre podio, los altares con pulvinos o los altares decorados con roleos de acanto. Se pone de manifiesto su temprana adopcion en el convento cluniense, desde comienzos de la epoca julio-claudia, asi como las diferentes influencias estilisticas ―italicas, galas fundamentalmente― que confluyen en la decoracion cluniense, sin olvidar la fuerte impronta local. A partir de ahi, se traza un panorama global con respecto al proceso de monumentalizacion de las necropolis en este ambito geografico Detailed analysis, both in stylistic as well as typological terms, of a range of architectural and sculptural materials, most of which have been displaced, has confirmed their funerary nature and their possible link to different funerary forms within the varieties most commonly found in the Roman world:  “aedicula”, altars with “pulvini” or altars with garland. Their early incorporation into the convent at Clunia is confirmed, dating from the Julio-Claudian period, together with various stylistic influences ― mainly italic, Gaul ― which converge in Clunian decoration, whilst not forgetting the strong local influence. Procedentes de la prospeccion superficial nos proponemos, a traves de su analisis, identificar que relacion tienen estos materiales descubiertos con la mineria medieval desarrollada en Sierra de Lujar (Granada); un intento de descifrar el caracter autoctono de unas producciones probablemente locales y un uso especifico adaptado a la actividad minera de esta epoca. Este registro ceramico, como expresion tecnologica de un determinado marco temporal, territorial y productivo, tambien contribuira al reconocimiento de una actividad productiva, asumida en relacion con las fuentes escritas exclusivamente, hasta el momento, para la zona. We are presenting a set of unpublished ceramic candles from different deposits of the same environment. From the surface exploration, what we propose, through its analysis, to identify the relationship of these discovered materials with the andalusi medieval mining developed in Sierra de Lujar (Granada); An attempt to decipher the autochthonous character of probably local productions and a specific use adapted to the mining activity of this time. Due to the natural features on which the site stands, and using different analyses (particle size, texture, x-ray diffraction, and other physico-chemical studies), we were able to differentiate natural fillings from those anthropogenic in origin and, at the same time, establish theevolution of these structures’ infilling. García","doi":"10.5944/ETFI.10.2017.17502","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5944/ETFI.10.2017.17502","url":null,"abstract":"Este articulo tiene como objetivo analizar arqueologicamente las fortificaciones del periodo protohistorico de Corea (300 aC – 300 dC), desde los terraplenes, empalizadas y fosos de los primeros nucleos de caracter urbano hasta posibles murallas de caracter fronterizo, en un momento clave en la evolucion social, politica, cultural y arquitectonica de la peninsula, de transicion de la aldea a la ciudad y de los cacicazgos tribales a las confederaciones de pequenas ciudades-estado que acabarian formando los primeros reinos centralizados. Se tienen en consideracion yacimientos amurallados del reino de Koguryo (en el norte), de las confederaciones tribales Samhan como las ciudades-estados de Wirye y Saro (en el sur), y de los distritos administrativos del imperio chino en corea (comandancias Han). Ante las turbias y polemicas interpretaciones nacionalistas de las diferentes tradiciones historiograficas del Asia Oriental (Corea, Japon y China), se defiende aqui el papel de la antigua civilizacion China como estimulo y origen de influencias avanzadas para el desarrollo de la arquitectura militar coreana, junto al urbanismo y a la organizacion de estructuras estatales, entre otros factores. This article aims to analyze archaeologically the fortifications of the protohistoric period of Korea (300 BC – 300 AD), comprising the embankments, palisades and moats of the first urban centres as well as possible border walls, in a key moment in the social, political, cultural and architectonic evolution of the peninsula, of transition from villages to cities and from tribal chiefdoms to the confederation of small city-states that eventually formed the first centralized kingdoms. It is taken into account walled sites of the Koguryo kingdom (in the north), of the Samhan tribal confederations like the city-states of Wirye and Saro (in the south), and of the administrative districts of the Chinese empire in Korea (Han commanderies). Given the murky and controversial nationalist interpretations of the different East Asian historiographical traditions (Korea, Japan and China), we will try to situate within its context the emergence of the urban military architecture in the peninsula and the nearby area, considering the constructions undertaken both by Chinese authorities and by the first Korean confederacies.
