El resto no han sido tenidos en cuenta en la crítica arqueológica. Estas razones hacen necesaria una valoración global relacionada con la puesta al día de este nutrido conjunto. En este trabajo se aporta una primera recopilación. Asimismo, se ofrece una revisión sobre los talleres de producción de este conjunto de retratos, encuadrándolos en el marco de la producción escultórica de Tarraco en general. Además, en estrecha relación con el aspecto anterior, se ha prestado una especial atención a diversas peculiaridades que permiten constatar determinadas técnicas de elaboración. Estas consideraciones han permitido relacionar aspectos técnicos concretos con períodos específicos, lo cual permitirá profundizar en aspectos como el lugar de exposición original y acotar las dataciones.Most of imperial portraits from Tarragona have been taken into account by different researchers in recent years, but always separately. However, a number of them have not been considered recently in the bibliography. These reasons make necessary an overall assessment related to the update of this large set of portraits. This work provides a first assemblage. It also offers a review on production workshops of the imperial portraits, that have been analyzed in the framework of the general sculptural production of Tarraco. In addition, special attention has been paid to various peculiarities which make it possible to discover certain elaboration techniques. These considerations have allowed to relate specific technical aspects with concrete periods. O espólio ofereceu um intervalo cronológico desde a segunda metade do séc. I a. C. até ao segundo quartel do séc. II d. C., com exemplares de terra sigillata tardo-itálica.Con este estudio los autores retoman la investigación sobre las cerámicas de terra sigillata de tipo itálico decorada pertenecientes a los hallazgos del Museo de Pedro Nunes (Alcácer do Sal). El conjunto obtenido de 41 piezas fue sometido a nuevos enfoques con el fin de obtener identificaciones significativas sobre las punciones aplicadas recurriendo a otros ramos relacionados con la arqueología, como son la numismática, la estatuaria y la pintura parietal romana. El material identificado recorre un intervalo cronológico desde la segunda mitad del siglo I a. C. hasta el segundo cuarto del siglo II d. C.After a paper published concerning fragments hold at the Museu de Pedro Nunes (Alcácer do Sal), the authors present a new set of 41 fragments found mainly on field surveys. The authors took new approaches to identify the decorative motives depicted in them, in other scientific fields such as: coinage, statuary, painted friezes on walls, as well as in Ancient History narrations. Mediante el estudio tecnológico de las muestras líticas de Pinedo, Cien Fanegas y Tafesa en la cuenca media del Tajo y las dataciones IRSL (post-Infrared Stimulated Luminiscence) y ESR de los depósitos de terrazas a +25-30m del Tajo en Pinedo y Cien Fanegas en las inmediaciones de Toledo se evidencia una perduración de esquemas tecnológicos achelenses en fechas recientes (MIS 11-8) dentro del tramo final del Pleistoceno Medio, similar a otros enclaves de la Meseta Central y del suroeste de Francia. Las características tecnológicas de estas series líticas (compuestas por cantos tallados, bifaces, triedros, picos triédricos, hendedores) y débitage no estandarizado (centrípeto y multipolar) no tiene un significado cronológico, sino que responde a tradiciones tecnológicas que perduran hasta el final del Pleistoceno Medio para el caso del interior de la Península Ibérica.The first Acheulean evidences in the Iberian Peninsula, are date approximately 1 Ma before present, although up to MIS 15-13 its presence in the middle basin of the Tagus river does not extend significantly. In this contribution, we present the relevant results of the technological study of the lithic series from Pinedo, Cien Fanegas and Tafesa sites located in the middle basin of the Tagus. This study together with the IRSL (post-Infrared Stimulated Luminiscence) and ESR dates of the terrace deposits at + 25-30m of the Tagus (Pinedo and Cien Fanegas in the vicinity of Toledo) indicate the perdurance of the Acheulian technological schemes during the late Middle Pleistocene (MIS 11-8). This circumstance is similar to other places of the Iberian Central Plateau and south-western France. Corresponden a la coleccion que reunio D. Juan Cabre Aguilo y que, a su muerte, fue dividida entre sus dos hijos. No se conocen datos acerca de su procedencia ni sobre el modo en que llegaron los objetos a la coleccion, pero la calidad del material y la escasez de este tipo de productos en la arqueologia peninsular elevan su interes. De su estudio se deriva su relacion con un conjunto de arreos que se producen y se usan en la peninsula iberica a finales de la I Edad del Hierro y que cuenta con buenas representaciones en la Extremadura post-orientalizante y en la Alta Andalucia iberica, particularmente en la zona de Jaen. An equestrian set composed by two bronze horse bits and two bit guards, also made in bronze, is studied. They are preserved in the Juan Cabre Museum (Calaceite, Spain) corresponding to the collection gathered by the Spanish archaeologist Juan Cabre Aguilo (1882-1947). Data about origin or the way that such objects came to the Cabre Collection are unknown, but their quality and the shortage of this type of objects in the Iberian archaeology underline their interest. The study shows a near relationship with a kind of bronze harnesses that were produced and used in Iberian Peninsula at the end of the Early Iron Age. La escena, que pertenece al genero paisajistico nilotico, esta protagonizada por pigmeos que, entre otras ocupaciones, participan en una escena de symplegma que subraya el caracter comico y de alteridad de la pintura. Tanto la actitud sexual impudica protagonizada por los personajes deformes, como el emplazamiento de los vestigios pictoricos –localizados en un area domestica dedicada al entretenimiento– nos llevan a considerar la pieza como una caricaturizacion del simposio destinada, quiza, a provocar la risa del espectador con una finalidad apotropaica. In the present article we analyze a pictorial fragment from the Casa del Medico of Pompeii (VIII 5, 24). The scene, which belongs to the nilotic landscape genre, is carried out by pygmies that, among other occupations, participate in a scene of symplegma that emphasizes the comic and otherness character of the painting. González, Larissa Mendoza Straffon","doi":"10.5944/ETFI.10.2017.18985","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5944/ETFI.10.2017.18985","url":null,"abstract":"A partir del analisis de contextos arqueologicos con restos humanos y las manifestaciones rupestres del Paleolitico Superior europeo, se proponen dos principales formas de tratamiento mortuorio; uno dirigido a la dispersion y eventual desaparicion de los difuntos y otro centrado en su preservacion y retencion. En el primero se observa una tendencia a la difuminacion de las diferencias sociales y, en el segundo, se nota una distincion en funcion del grupo de edad y genero. Tras el cambio climatico y de patrones de asentamiento en el paso del Gravetiense al Magdaleniense y Epigravetiense, se percibe que, hasta cierto punto, las formas en que se inhumaban los diversos sectores sociales se tornaron mas homogeneas. Pero, reconociendo constantes, se concluye que las concepciones paleoliticas de la muerte conformaron un fenomeno de larga duracion en el que, pese a la existencia de modificaciones superficiales, pudieron mantenerse una serie de elementos mas centrales.   Based on a comparative analysis of archaeological burial contexts and rock art in the European Upper Palaeolithic, this paper suggests two main forms of mortuary practices for that period: one aimed at the disposal and eventual disintegration of the dead, and another focused on their preservation and retention. The earlier reveals an intention to disguise social differences, the latter, on the contrary, seems to represent an effort to singularize the gender and age-group of the deceased. It appears that, following the changes in climate and settlement patterns that took place after the Gravettian and into the Magdalenian and Epigravettian, the burial forms and practices pertaining to different social groups became more homogeneous, to some extent.
