The development of metacognitive skills shows in the eight pillars of metacognition such as self-awareness, self-control, and selfregulation help students to recognize weaknesses and apply strategies to support them offset their cognitive deficits, by becoming more flexible and adapt to any changes. STEAM education for students via multi-faceted and multi-sensory approach to develop metacognitive skills, control and monitor how children learn while building necessary knowledge, ensuring equality in learning academic and work opportunities for all students. Thereby, improving their selfesteem, confidence and independence of students with learning disabilities, helping them cope with challenges in the future.","PeriodicalId":312958,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science Educational Science","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133996142","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the article compared behavioral approaches and developmental approaches in the intervention for children with autism following the 3 main criteria: (1) Basic requirements and characteristics in intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder; (2) Comparison of behavioral approaches (represented as ABA) and developmental approaches (DIRFloortime, RDI) in autism spectrum disorder's intervention; and (3) The choice of behavioral approaches and developmental approaches in autism spectrum disorder's intervention. Each approach has its own principles and uses different techniques and methods, so each approach can bring different results. After comparing the research results using these two approaches, it is found that there is no single intervention approach that is effective for all children with ASD. Educators should combine approaches appropriate to each child's developmental stage.","PeriodicalId":312958,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science Educational Science","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128561711","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article focuses on a group of children with developmental disorders including autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and learning disorder. Secondary disabilities are often referred to as mental disorders and behavioral complications, which arise as a result of the primary disorderinjury. In particular, the group of children with developmental disorders often tends to integrate different types of developmental disorders, which will be the group at risk of having many difficulties at the same time and having a high rate of secondary disabilities. The article points out the manifestations, and causes of secondary disabilities and proposes ways to prevent secondary disabilities for children with developmental disorders.","PeriodicalId":312958,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science Educational Science","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123055326","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The survey results show that problem-solving skills among children have an unequal division, most of them at a medium level, which means that the teacher's help also plays an important role. On the other hand, some children at a high level demonstrate potential in solving novel and rather complex problems. Children perform best in problem-finding and presentation skill, and solution-selection skills, while planning skills are relatively underdeveloped. These discoveries are an essential practical basis to propose an appropriate process of forming problem-solving skills for 5 to 6 years old children.","PeriodicalId":312958,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science Educational Science","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116872129","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Quantitative and qualitative methods are combined to determine the current situation of using picture books and the effectiveness of organizing picture book reading activities for children in preschool. Research results show that most preschool teachers rate picture books as suitable learning materials to use in children's education programs. Children have positive reactions and express personal reasoning after interacting with picture books. However, teachers still have difficulty in classifying books suitable for children in each activity. Organizational forms and methods have not exploited optimally the value of picture books in developing necessary skills for preschool children.","PeriodicalId":312958,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science Educational Science","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132299367","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
