Theoretical sustainability competence framework for students in the context of education for sustainable development in Vietnam

This study conducted searches of studies that matched the selection criteria on online databases and manually reviewed studies from bibliographies. A total of more than 368 studies were found. After excluding non-conforming studies 14 studies with 8 theoretical frameworks on sustainable capacity were used for analysis and evaluation. The study aims to provide a sustainability competence framework for students in the context of ESD in Vietnam on the basis of finding research gaps in international studies and the competency framework of university graduates in Vietnam. From there, a sustainability competence framework is proposed for Vietnamese students as an orientation for future theoretical studies.
