Exporting has been the most appropriate mode of expansion into foreign market for SMEs due to lower risk and less resource commitment. The literature insists that future study should pay more attention on how SMEs improve export performance. Review of literature brings to the conclusion that innovativeness and learning orientation are pertinent in building the success of SMEs in export markets. Notwithstanding the existing investigation on the impact of innovativeness on performance, the results are inconclusive, reinforcing the need for investigation in the context of emerging market and SMEs. In addition, learning orientation composed of three dimensions namely managerial commitment, system perspective and openness and experimentation. Previous studies view learning orientation as summate of all three dimensions. Unlike previous studies, this study investigates the effect of each dimension on innovativeness. A conceptual framework was developed based on the resource-based view. Data were collected from small and medium business exporters in the manufacturing sector of an emerging market. A total of 220 respondents participated in this study. Data were analysed using structural equation modeling to test the hypotheses, and the results show that innovativeness is positively related to export performance. In addition, the findings reveal that managerial commitment is a function of innovativeness. System perspective, and openness and experimentation have no significant effect on innovativeness. Implications and limitations are also discussed in this study. Keywords: Export performance; innovativeness; learning orientation; small and medium enterprises; emerging market ABSTRAK Kajian ini menyelidik peranan daya inovasi dan orientasi pembelajaran ke atas prestasi pengantarabangsaan syarikat enteprise kecil dan sederhana. Eksport adalah mod yang paling sesuai untuk memasuki pasaran asing bagi EKS kerana risikonya adalah rendah dan memerlukan komitmen sumber yang kurang. Kajian lepas menekankan bahawa kajian akan datang seharusnya memberi tumpuan kepada aspek bagaimana EKS meningkatkan prestasi eksport. Sorotan kajian lepas membawa kepada kesimpulan bahawa daya inovasi dan orientasi pembelajaran adalah penting kepada EKS untuk mencapai kejayaan di pasaran eksport. Meskipun terdapat kajian berkaitan kesan daya inovasi ke atas prestasi, hasil kajian mendapati tiada keputusan yang telah dicapai dan ini menunjukan bahawa ada keperluan untuk menjalankan kajian dalam kontek pasaran memuncul dan EKS. Drawing upon Resource-Based View (RBV) theory, this study develops a research framework to explain the relationship between organizational ethical climate and corporate environmental citizenship. A quantitative approach was employed to test the relationship between organizational ethical climate and corporate environmental citizenship. Grade 7 construction companies were selected as the target respondents. Systematic sampling technique was used to ensure that every member of the sampled population has equal chances of being selected as a respondent. However, self-administered questionnaires were used to collect data. The findings showed that organizational ethical climate is significantly related to corporate environmental citizenship. It also showed that if the construction companies wish to optimize corporate environmental citizenship, they need to prioritize organizational ethical climate. In addition, discussion, implications, directions for future research, and conclusion of the study were also highlighted. Berdasarkan Resource Based View (RBV) teori, kajian ini membangunkan rangka penyelidikan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara iklim etika organisasi dan kewarganegaraan alam sekitar korporat. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan untuk menguji hubungan antara iklim etika organisasi dan kewarganegaraan alam sekitar korporat. Syarikat pembinaan Gred 7 dipilih sebagai responden. Teknik pensampelan sistematik digunakan untuk memastikan setiap responden mempunyai peluang yang sama untuk dipilih sebagai responden. Kemudian, soal selidik yang dijalankan sendiri digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Penemuan menunjukkan iklim etika organisasi berkaitan dengan kewarganegaraan alam sekitar korporat. Ini menunjukkan bahawa jika syarikat pembinaan ingin mengoptimumkan kewarganegaraan alam sekitar korporat, mereka perlu mengutamakan iklim etika organisasi. Kumpulan projek diwujudkan dengan mengumpulkan pakar dalam pelbagai bidang bagi menyempurnakan sesuatu tugasan. Ini membantu meningkatkan produktiviti dengan cara memanfaatkan perkongsian maklumat dan pengetahuan oleh para pakar berkenaan dalam melaksanakan tugasan. Namun perkara penting dalam pengoperasian kumpulan projek ialah perhubungan yang baik di antara ahli kumpulan. Perhubungan merupakan satu jaringan sosial yang terbina di antara individu yang melibatkan perasaan, kerjasama dan kebergantungan antara satu sama lain. Apabila bekerja dalam satu kumpulan, perhubungan perlu dititikberatkan untuk memastikan ahli dapat bekerjasama dengan baik. Ini akan mendorong ke arah kumpulan projek yang efektif. Namun kajian berkaitan dengan dinamik perhubungan masih kurang mendapat perhatian daripada pengkaji, khususnya dalam konteks kumpulan projek. Maka kajian ini dijalankan bagi mengenalpasti faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perhubungan ahli dalam kumpulan projek. Kaedah kualitatif telah digunakan yang mana temuduga separa berstruktur dijalankan dengan melibatkan 15 orang peserta kajian dari dua organisasi di Malaysia. Dapatan kajian telah mengenalpasti tiga faktor yang saling mempengaruhi perhubungan dalam kumpulan projek iaitu: usia, komunikasi dan komitmen. Kata kunci: Perhubungan; kumpulan projek; kualitatif ABSTRACT This study was conducted to explore the relationship between members within project team in organization. Project team is formed by gathering experts from various departments in an organization to work together in order to perform a specific task. It increases productivity by leveraging the sharing of information and knowledge by experts in their respective fields in carrying out their tasks. The most important aspect in the process of a project team is good relationship among the members of the team. Relationship is a social network built up among individuals that involve feelings, co-operation and dependence on one another. When working in a team, relationships need to be emphasized to ensure that the team members work well together. This will ensure an effective teamwork. However, studies on the dynamics of relationship are still lacking, particularly in the context of a project team. Thus, this study was conducted to identify the factors that influence the relationship of members in a team. Qualitative methods have been used where semi-structured interviews are conducted, involving 15 participants from two organizations in Malaysia. The findings have identified three factors that influence each other in a project team: age, communication and commitment. Kajian ini juga mengkaji halangan-halangan semasa melaksanakan TM di kalangan PKS. Kajian literatur dan empirik mendapati sepuluh faktor kritikal kejayaan PKS dalam pelaksanaan TM iaitu pengurusan, staf, perancangan teknologi maklumat, sumber luar/kewangan, konsultan, vendor, budaya organisasi, pengurusan hubungan dan perubahan, juara TM dan faktor persepsi dan sikap. Model Kesediaan Pelaksanaan Teknologi Maklumat (atau Model mRIME) mengandungi tiga komponen utama iaitu faktor kejayaan, kaedah penilaian dan indeks tahap kesediaan. Dua kajian kes telah dijalankan melibatkan industri untuk menilai penggunaan dan keberkesanan model cadangan ini dan hasil kajian kes menunjukkan bahawa keputusan penilaian model ini adalah bersesuaian, praktikal dan tepat. Model mRIME dapat membantu PKS menggunakan kaedah yang jelas untuk mengukur tahap kesediaan dalam melaksanakan TM di samping memberi justifikasi ke atas pembiayaannya kelak serta memastikan PKS bersedia dan tidak ketinggalan dalam era perniagaan baru Revolusi Industri 4.0. Kata kunci: Pelaksanaan teknologi maklumat; perusahaan kecil dan sederhana; faktor kejayaan kritikal; model kesediaan pelaksanaan; tahap kesediaan ABSTRACT The development of the information technology (IT) implementation readiness model for SMEs is required to investigate the status of usage of IT among SMEs in Malaysia towards the industrial revolution 4.0. It also investigates the obstacles in the implementation of IT in SMEs. Literature and empirical studies have identified ten critical success factors for IT implementation in SMEs namely the management, staff, IT planning, outsourcing/financial, consultants, vendors, organizational culture, relationship management and change, IT champion, and perception and attitude. The IT Implementation Readiness Model (or mRIME) consists of three components: success factors, evaluation method and readiness level index. Two case studies have been conducted involving industry to validate the proposed model and the evaluation results show that the model is appropriate, practical and accurate. The mRIME model could be used to assist SMEs by having a clear method to measure the level of readiness in implementing IT as well as to provide justification for the future funding, and to ensure the SMEs are prepared and not being left behind in the new business era the Industrial Revolution 4.0. These countries were selected because of their potential development in impact sourcing. This study uses qualitative research approach with two selected case studies of GBS firms with impact sourcing operations. The selected GBS firms involved in impact sourcing of their finance and accounting processes to marginalized communities in Malaysia and Sri Lanka. Findings show that the impact sourcing is used as a strategy to overcome talent shortage issues faced by GBS firms. At the same time, it contributes to income generation with world class work experiences among the marginalized communities. Practically, this opportunities are better gained with high firm’s readiness towards working closely with the marginalized communities in mitigating the talent shortage issues. Theoretically, this study provides empirical evidence of global talent management in the context of impact sourcing in GBS firms. It further contributes to the literatures in impact sourcing of accounting activities in Malaysia and Sri Lanka that reach out young talents from marginalized communities at the universities and those in the rural areas. Keywords: Impact sourcing; talent; South East Asia; global business services ABSTRAK Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk memahami perlaksanaan penyumberan berimpak sebagai salah satu strategi untuk mengurangkan isu kekurangan bakat dalam firma perkhidmatan perniagaan global (Global Business Services atau GBS) yang beroperasi di Malaysia dan Sri Lanka. Negara-negara ini dipilih kerana berpotensi dalam pembangunan penyumberan luar berimpak. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan penyelidikan kualitatif dan melibatkan dua kajian kes terpilih firma GBS yang melaksanakan penyumberan luar berimpak. Firma-firma GBS yang terpilih ini melaksanakan penyumberan luar berimpak bagi perkhidmatan kewangan dan perakaunan ke atas komuniti terpinggir di Malaysia dan Sri Lanka. Penemuan menunjukkan bahawa penyumberan luar berimpak digunakan sebagai strategi untuk mengatasi masalah pengurusan bakat yang dihadapi oleh firma GBS. Pada masa yang sama, ia menyumbang kepada penjanaan pendapatan melalui pengalaman kerja bertaraf dunia di kalangan masyarakat terpinggir. Secara praktis, faedah penyumberan luar berimpak ini adalah lebih jelas jika firma lebih bersedia untuk bekerjasama dengan komuniti terpinggir dalam usaha untuk mengurangkan isu berkaitan pengurusan bakat. Secara teorinya, kajian ini memberikan bukti empirical dalam pengurusan bakat di peringkat global dalam konteks penyumberan luar berimpak. Attitudes towards recycling, subjective norms, perceived behavioural control, commitment to the environment and intention to recycle were hypothesised to explain recycling behaviour. Data was collected using stratified sampling via a questionnaire survey involving 444 households from Melaka. The model was validated and tested using structural equation modelling. The findings confirmed that all the hypotheses developed were supported, with an R2 value of 66.7%. This study contributes to the field by introducing a new perspective on research into recycling behaviour, incorporating an additional variable, commitment to the environment, in the TPB model. It provides new empirical findings for government policy makers and other agencies to help develop policies and regulations in relation to the sustainability of household recycling behaviour. It is recommended that other variables be included and a longitudinal research design adopted to overcome the limitations of this study in future research. Sikap terhadap kitar semula, norma subjektif, kawalan tingkah laku yang dilihat, komitmen terhadap alam sekitar dan niat untuk mengitar semula adalah hipotesis untuk menjelaskan tingkah laku kitar semula. Data dikumpul menggunakan persampelan berstrata melalui kaji selidik kuesioner yang melibatkan 444 isi rumah dari Melaka. Model ini telah disahkan dan diuji menggunakan pemodelan persamaan struktur. Penemuan ini mengesahkan bahawa semua hipotesis yang dibangunkan disokong, dengan nilai R2 66.7%. Kajian ini menyumbang kepada bidang ini dengan memperkenalkan perspektif baru mengenai penyelidikan ke dalam tingkah laku kitar semula, memasukkan pembolehubah tambahan, komitmen terhadap alam sekitar, dalam model TPB. Ia memberikan penemuan empirikal baru bagi pembuat dasar kerajaan dan agensi lain untuk membantu membangunkan dasar dan peraturan berkaitan dengan kelestarian tingkah laku kitar semula isi rumah. Namun aset sandaran secara fizikal tidak mencukupi untuk menerbitkan sukuk secara berkala. Justeru, artikel ini mengkaji aset sandaran alternatif bagi terbitan sukuk jangka pendek. Kajian kes dijalankan terhadap terbitan sukuk jangka pendek di syarikat multilateral iaitu International Islamic Liquidity Management (IILM). Dengan metode temubual yang digunakan, kajian mendapati bahawa penggunaan kontrak wakalah dalam penerbitan sukuk IILM adalah jalan terbaik bagi mengurangkan penggunaan aset fizikal. Selain itu, alternatif lain bagi kekurangan aset sandaran ini dapat diatasi dengan menggunakan aset ringan seperti masa berbual (air time) dan tarif elektrik, penggunaan aset swasta atau pembiayaan mikro atau melonggarkan syarat Aset Cair Berkualiti Tinggi (HQLA). ABSTRACT Underlying asset is vital in sukuk issuance. However, physical underlying asset may not be sufficient to issue sukuk regularly. This article intends to analyse the alternative underlying assets for short-term sukuk issuance. A case study on short-term sukuk was conducted at a multilateral company known as the International Islamic Liquidity Management (IILM). By using the interview method, this research found that the usage of wakalah contract in the issuance of sukuk is the best way to reduce the usage of physical assets. Other alternatives which may be used to overcome the lack of the underlying assets is perhaps a light asset consists of air time and electricity tarif, private assets or micro financing or loose High Quality Liquid Asset (HQLA) term and conditions. The study employed a quantitative research approach by conducting surveys through questionnaires to respondents from two universities in Malaysia. The findings from the research proved that service quality and the role of agents are significant towards the determinants of customer satisfaction in Takaful insurance services. However, the performances of the takaful operators are found to be insignificant to the service quality. In conclusion, takaful operators need to improve and strengthen their service quality and the role of their agents as well. As for the performance of these takaful operators, customers do not rely much on it, and takaful operators should not concentrate much on this factor while offering their services. Keywords: Takaful; customer satisfaction; service quality; takaful performance; role of agents; Malaysia ABSTRAK Kajian ini menyelidik komponen pembolehubah kepuasan pengguna terhadap Insurans Takaful bagi mengenal pasti dan mengutamakan cara untuk mendapatkan pelanggan. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan penyelidikan kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan soal selidik kepada responden dari dua universiti di Malaysia. Penemuan kajian ini membuktikan bahawa kualiti perkhidmatan dan peranan ejen adalah penting kepada kepuasan pelanggan dalam perkhidmatan Insurans Takaful. Walaubagaimanapun, prestasi syarikat takaful didapati tidak signifikan kepada kepuasan pelanggan. Kesimpulannya, syarikat takaful perlu meningkatkan kualiti perkhidmatan dan menguatkan lagi peranan agen-agen mereka bagi meningkatkan lagi kepuasan pelanggan mereka. Bagi penunjuk prestasi syarikat takaful ini, kepuasan pelanggan tidak bergantung sangat padanya dan syarikat tidak perlu untuk memberikan penekanan yang lebih dalam memberikan perkhidmatan mereka. Moreover, this study also investigated whether customer personality trait plays a moderating role in the relationship of value co-creation behavior and relationship quality as well as the relationship between relationship quality and relationship equity. A total of 245 questionnaires were collected via purposive sampling from customers seeking tailoring services from SME tailoring businesses. The findings revealed that customer value co-creation has a statistically significant influence on relationship quality. In addition, relationship quality was also positively related to relationship equity. However, the moderating effect of customer personality trait was not significant. This study contributes to the existing literature on customer co-creation and personality traits of consumers in tailoring services of SMEs, particularly in explaining the relationship equity of consumers. Keywords: Value co-creation; relationship quality; relationship equity; personality trait, tailoring services ABSTRAK Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara penciptaan nilai pelanggan, kualiti hubungan, dan ekuiti hubungan dalam perkhidmatan jahit di Malaysia. Selain itu, kajian ini juga menyiasat sama ada sifat keperibadian pelanggan memainkan peranan sebagai pemboleh ubah sederhana dalam hubungan tingkah laku penciptaan nilai dan kualiti hubungan, serta hubungan kualiti hubungan dan ekuiti hubungan. Sebanyak 245 soal selidik telah dikumpulkan melalui persampelan purposive daripada pelanggan perkhidmatan jahit yang dimiliki oleh perniagaan kecil dan sederhana. Hasil penemuan menunjukkan bahawa penciptaan bersama nilai pelanggan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kualiti hubungan. Di samping itu, kualiti hubungan juga mempunyai hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan ekuiti hubungan. Walau bagaimanapun, sifat keperibadian pelanggan sebagai pemboleh ubah sederhana adalah tidak signifikan. Kajian ini memberikan sumbangan besar kepada literatur sedia ada mengenai penciptaan nilai bersama pelanggan dan keperibadian pengguna dalam perkhidmatan jahitan PKS, khususnya dalam menjelaskan hubungan ekuiti pengguna. This statement is true irrespective of an organisational form of a company. Financial indicators (such as profit) can give a full picture of absolute effectiveness of the company's performance. The main activities of any company can be split into the following groups: production, sales, procurement, financial and investment activities. According to the 2013-2016 consolidated financial statements prepared under IFRS, Russia’s largest car producers include AVTOVAZ Group, GAZ Group, KAMAZ Group and SOLLERS Group. They all used a three-factor model of return on equity and other mathematical tools. Analysis of the three-factor model of return on equity enabled us to formulate several statements. The main factor affecting return on equity is the sales margin. When the sales margin is measured within a certain period of time, there can be either a negative or a positive influence on the final financial results of a company. The two other factors that influence return on equity are less significant. The factor of margin is the most significant and the index of capital intensity is the least significant factor of the three. Our practical innovation is a new model to analyse financial reporting of a car making company, which showcases the financial position of a company. Kenyataan ini adalah benar tanpa mengira bentuk organisasi sesebuah syarikat. Penunjuk kewangan (seperti keuntungan) dapat memberikan gambaran penuh tentang keberkesanan mutlak prestasi perusahaan. Aktiviti utama mana-mana syarikat boleh dibahagikan kepada kumpulan berikut: pengeluaran, jualan, perolehan, aktiviti kewangan dan pelaburan. Menurut penyata kewangan yang disatukan 2013-2016 yang disediakan di bawah IFRS, pengeluar kereta terbesar di Rusia termasuk Kumpulan AVTOVAZ, Kumpulan GAZ, Kumpulan KAMAZ dan Kumpulan SOLLERS.
