But we often use X-ray images because of scanning time and scan cost. It is difficult to extract tumor region of X-ray images, and pathologists have to diagnose many images of tumor. Therefore, demand for the development of CAD system is increasing to support pathologists. Images that we use are dog images. Many people research human images, but animal images are not researched well. In this paper, automatic extraction of tumor region is studied. We used operation of normalized correlation. Template of this filter looks like mountain. We also used Quoit-filter, that detected region that had possibility of tumor. We calculated edge of tumor to see easily tumors. Our method detected some tumor candidate edge. As future work, we should extract bone region, and some fixed value, including filter size should be automatically determined","PeriodicalId":309260,"journal":{"name":"2006 SICE-ICASE International Joint Conference","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126378855","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The optical flow can be represented by image velocity distribution which is calculated from two or more frames of motion image. Segmentation scheme based on motion image is expected to be essential in the application of motion recognition, orientation estimate and so on. Our segmentation technique consists of two sections. In the first stage, the M-estimator is used to divide the whole image into several pieces of regions each of which shearing a coherent velocity. In the second stage, the regions are re-combined to one of adjacent regions which has the most similar histogram of velocity components. Experimental results show that the proposed method improves both segmentation and optical flow estimation","PeriodicalId":309260,"journal":{"name":"2006 SICE-ICASE International Joint Conference","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134234386","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Takahashi","doi":"10.1109/SICE.2006.315132","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/SICE.2006.315132","url":null,"abstract":"This paper proposes agent-based organizational cybernetics (AOC), which combines organizational cybernetic framework and computational organization theoretic approach, especially agent-based computational learning model. Organizational cybernetics provides a basic framework in which every organization is comprehensively described to be composed of 4 functional layers: process, coordination, adaptation and self-organization. In organizational cybernetics the difference between the overall purpose of an organization and each function of it plays an essential role especially to provide diagnosis for the organization of keeping viable. In this usage of the organizational cybernetic framework no micro-macro problem between learning of each member and that of the whole system can be seen. On the other hand, computational organization theoretic approach focuses on agents' task resolutions and bottom-up description of organizational activities. Organizational learning process described in computational organization theory mainly consists of error correcting activities by each agent and organization itself based on the agents' decision rules. Computational organization theory describes explicitly models to define detail dynamics on learning in process levels by agents. It is, however, not straightforward to describe double-loop learning as sharing internal models among agents. Though organizational cybernetic approach and computational organization theoretic one have considerably different aspects: on micro-level and on macro-level, we can combine them and build newly emergent model. Our proposed model describes the two loops of organizational learning by representing both processes of learning of internal models and resolving tasks by agents. The model can describe essentially different levels of individual learning and organizational one so as to distinguish effectively the two loops of organizational learning","PeriodicalId":309260,"journal":{"name":"2006 SICE-ICASE International Joint Conference","volume":"187 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123357488","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We applied engineering method based on robotics control and constructed the artificial myocardial assist system which might be able to regulate derangement and regenerative tensile force on the surface of heart. In this study, a design to surround the total heart has been established in order to refrain from the stress concentration by the mechanical assistance, and the hemodynamic performance of the artificial myocardial assist system were examined in a mock circulatory system as well as on animal experiments using goats. Basic characteristics of the shape memory alloy fibre unit were examined and the displacement control could be achieved under the condition of the different external temperature by feedback using the PID control.
