Regarding the difficulties in learning kanji, in this discussion will be studied about the difficulties in learning kanji and strategies that can minimize the difficulties in learning kanji. To examine this subject, the method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The data of this research is taken from a video blog entitled ‘[Chōkai | Nihongo Kaiwa] Daigaku No Tomodachi to Hanasu Toki ’ uploaded to YouTube on January 22, 2020. The data retrieval method used the referral method, using the tapping technique as its advanced technique. Furthermore, in the data analysis phase, using the ‘Agih’ method with the direct element sharing techniques. Then in presenting the data, using informal presentation methods.The results showed that there were 5 coherence data that showed interconnected discourse, seen from the use of cohesion markers. The objective of this research is to describe the technique of translating ecological terms in the source text to the target text and its equivalence. The data in this study was obtained from the collection of short stories Kaze no Matasaburo and Guskobudori no Denki by Miyazawa Kenji as well as its translations in Indonesian by Unpad Press. The data was collected using the literature study method with note-taking techniques. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the padan method with the basic technique of sorting the determining element (PUP) then continued with the hubung banding technique. The results of data analysis are presented by informal methods. Based on its history, beauty standards for women have been created for a long time. However, several beauty products have defined the existing beauty stereotypes, namely advertisements on SK II. This study shows how beauty construction works in women in SK II advertisements. This study applies the semiotic method using a qualitative approach. Therefore, the data collection technique in this study uses a literature study by applying a study of books, notes, literature, and various reports related to the issue to be solved. This study shows that women's beauty is represented far and even better in these advertisements than the myth of ideal beauty standards created by the mass media and the general public today. The data were collected through introspection method and by asking Japanese native speakers as verifiers. The data were identified in order to investigate which numerals have the potential to undergo some sound change. They were then analyzed phonemically and some phonetically as well. The data analysis focused on the segmental elements and it was conducted synchronically. The results show that there are some processes of and reasons underlying the sound change in the Japanese numeral quantifiers. The most common process of the sound change is assimilation, especially regressive assimilation. The subjects of this study were four respondents consisting of 2 female to male (F2M) crossplayers and 2 male to female (M2F) crossplayers. This study uses a critical discourse analysis approach to reveal cultural phenomena using Sartre's concept of Being and Foucault's concept of the power of discourse. The results of this study indicate that crossplay in Indonesia is not an easy thing to do. The rejection from the community is quite large because of the negative stigma for cross-dressed people. Crossplay actors have to disguise their identities on social media and operate clandestinely, as a form of their negotiation against the power of the majority discourse who rejects their existence. They also form a community so that they still have a place to actualize their hobby. The creation of a community is also a protective area for various crossplay activities from the power of the majority discourse. This study aims to examine the understanding of Japanese language students in Bandung city regarding the meaning of proverbs and their equivalents in Indonesian. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with the theory used for analysis is Ogden and Richard's triangle of meaning theory. This paper is expected to be an insight in understanding the meaning of proverbs. Although each word in these proverbs has a different meaning, when formed into a proverb in both Indonesian and Japanese, it will give rise to a new meaning that contains sarcasm, advice or simply reinforces the meaning of each utterance. The word elements used to form proverbs in Japanese and Indonesian are the same, but the meaning will be different depending on the culture of the people. The results of the analysis showed that out of 41 students of Japanese language study programs in Bandung, 29 students understood the meaning of some of the Japanese proverbs given, although the proverbs were not learned in their formal education. These four sentence patterns are used to express reason-result, each with slightly different meaning nuances. As because the expression of reason-result in Indonesian is not as complex and complicated as in Japanese, the existence of these different nuances of meaning frequently causes difficulties for foreign students studying Japanese, particularly students from Indonesia. The four sentence patterns of kara, node, and te, de which are descriptors of reasoning in Japanese, will be studied from the morphosyntactic and semantic sides to produce a clear description that can be used as a reference for Indonesian learners using cause expressions - the rationale. The research method employed was qualitative, with descriptive data presentation. The distributional method and a technique of sorting out certain elements were used for the research technique, while the distributional method and a technique of sorting out certain elements were used for the study technique. According to the findings of this study, the expressions of reason-result kara, node, and te/de each have a distinct use. The use of the type of verb or type of word in the first clause and the circumstances that occur in the second clause show a difference in usage and meaning. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection through literature studies. Data analysis is carried out by analyzing one of the elements of the short story structure, namely characterization and characterization, then understanding the relationship between the role of parents and children in this short story. The purpose of this study is to reveal the cultural identity of fans in an internet-based fandom, especially on Twitter social media. The theories used are Hall and Barker's theory of cultural identity, Nagy-Koles' virtual identity theory, Jenkins' fan study, and McQuail's new media theory. The approach used to conduct this research is a qualitative approach, while the method used to conduct this research is participatory observation and interview that involved several fans that followed one of the Attacks on Titan’s fandom accounts, AOTFESS.
