The problem of developing the communicative skills of second-graders is considered, the ways of teaching younger students to communicate in the dialogue mode are updated. As a priority, it is proposed to use forms of joint activities that meet the requirements of the updated program documents. It is noted the need for the gradual formation in children of the ability to listen to the interlocutor and perceive information to complete educational tasks.
