Abstract
The main features of teaching mathematics according to the updated standard are: the development of spatial thinking, logical and algorithmic thinking; formation of the ability to work with subject terminology and actively use it in solving educational problems; the formation of mathematical functional literacy, taking into account the age capabilities of children.
