Abstract

The article characterizes the difficulties that younger schoolchildren face when studying the theme of the course program "The World Around Us", dedicated to familiarizing students with natural and cultural objects of Russia and other countries included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The article considers the method of consistent and successive acquaintance of students from the first to the fourth grade with the most significant and accessible World Heritage sites, with special attention to the emotional perception of a natural or cultural object, providing awareness of its beauty, uniqueness and significance.
