The ways in which these technologies can be exploited for the effective development of the mentioned competence are explained. The formulated recommendations are addressed to both educational institutions and teaching staff and the main beneficiaries: pupils and students. However, despite the recognition of the important contribution of SMEs to the economy, there are a number of major barriers to innovation that prevent SMEs from developing. This paper aims to identify some important innovation barriers perceived by domestic SME entrepreneurs, as well as their perception of the changing trends in this field in recent years. The research is based on a mixed approach, using both primary and secondary data: statistical analysis and international rankings; the results of surveys and interviews with entrepreneurs from the small and medium-sized business sector, carried out and implemented over the last 8 years, with the participation of the authors; critical analysis and generalization of specialty literature, analytical materials; comparison; synthesis. The research results reveal that the innovation activity of SMEs remains rather modest, entrepreneurs facing a mix of internal and external problems. {"title":"Headquarters of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova – heritage building of national value","authors":"Liliana Condraticova, Alina Ostapov","doi":"10.52673/18570461.23.2-69.17","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.52673/18570461.23.2-69.17","url":null,"abstract":"The current headquarters of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova (ASM) was built in the years 1951–1955 according to the project of the renowned architect Valentin Mednec/Mednic and Aleksandr Vedenkin, being a remarkable example of \"Stalinist\" architecture, characterized by monumentalism, sober aesthetic appearance but also exuberance of decorative elements, perfectly fitted into the urban landscape, including as a starting point for the city's main artery. The present article is a synthesis of archival data that brings to the attention of researchers in the fields of history, architecture, and art the new or less known aspects about the ASM headquarters, as well as arguments in favor of its patrimonial value. The General Assembly of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova from March 22, 2023, unanimously supported the proposal of the general scientific secretary of ASM, dr. hab. Liliana Condraticova, to include this emblematic building from the center of Chisinau into the Register of monuments of the Republic of Moldova protected by the state, approved by the Decision of the Parliament no. 1531 of 1993 (with subsequent additions). There was drawn up a study regarding the history and architectural value of the building, accompanied by unpublished archival images and plans of the building, as well as recent photos, the respective file being submitted for examination to the Ministry of Culture. Genotype x environment interaction generates discrepancies from one crop to another. Different methods have been used to distinguish genotypes according to their behavior in different environmental conditions. The study of sugar beet varieties based on 44 experiments on the following indices: root yield, quality, degree of rot is presented. Reservoir zoobenthos is mainly formed of thermophilous Palearctic species of the Holarctic region (mainly oligochaetes and chironomids), including PontoCaspian relicts (polychaetes, higher crustaceans, and mollusks). There are 18 species of Ponto-Caspian relicts in the Dubasari reservoir and 25 species in the Kuchurgan reservoir. North American and Southeast Asian introduced species in the zoobenthos of the Dubasari reservoir are represented by one species, and in the Kuchurgan reservoir by three species. Global climate change, enhanced volume of trade and increased human mobility over the past 50 years are key risk factors in the introduction and establishment of non-native species in new areas. These invaders are a major threat worldwide due to their effect on human health, global food security and livelihoods, disruption of trade, biodiversity, habitat destruction, loss of agricultural productivity and high disease risk to crop plants. {"title":"Synthesis and research of the pharmacophoric properties of some N-(dimethylphenyl) hydrazinecarbotioamide","authors":"Tatiana Erhan, Olga Garbuz, Nicon Ungur, Aurelian Gulea","doi":"10.52673/18570461.23.2-69.07","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.52673/18570461.23.2-69.07","url":null,"abstract":"The present study was focused on the synthesis of some N-(dimethylphenyl)hydrazine carbothioamides 1-4, that contain the following N-substituents: 2,4-dimethylphenyl; 2,5-dimethylphenyl; 2,6-dimethylphenyl; 3,4-dimethylphenyl, to increase lipophilicity and N-(dimethylphenyl)-2-(pyridin-2-ylmethylidene)hydrazinecarbothioamides 5-8, analogous of Triapine. The structural formula of the compounds was characterized by means of spectroscopy: FT-IR, 1H-, and 13CRMN, and the molecular structure, for the first time, by means of X-ray diffraction. The study of antioxidant activity has shown that all compounds 1-8 are powerful antioxidants. N-(dimethylphenyl)-2-(pyridin2-ylmethylidene)hydrazinecarbothioamides 5-8 were tested as inhibitors of MCF-7 (breast cancer) cell proliferation. The study combines a retrospective evaluation and a prospective evaluation. While the retrospective evaluation looks at the results and implementation of the national and European policy framework on integration into the European Research Area, the prospective evaluation focuses on the potential benefits or costs of subsequent policy actions. In doing so, the study highlights the opportunities, the results but also the shortcomings due to previous policy actions.
