Bakteri ini dilaporkan resisten terhadap beberapa antibiotik yang direkomendasikan WHO, sehingga diperlukan upaya pencarian senyawa antibakteri baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kandungan fitokimia dan potensi ekstrak etanol umbi, batang dan daun ginseng jawa (Talinum paniculatum) dalam menghambat pertumbuhan S. sonnei secara in vitro. Uji fitokimia ekstrak etanol menggunakan metode Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT).  Potensi antibakteri dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode difusi cakram Kirby Baeur teknik swab dengan perlakuan seri  konsentrasi ekstrak  50%, 75% dan  100%, kontrol positif (tetrasiklin 20%), dan kontrol negatif (DMSO 10%) dengan 5 pengulangan. Dari hasil uji fitokimia diketahui bahwa metabolit sekunder dari golongan steroid ditemukan pada umbi, batang maupun daun ginseng jawa.  Flavonoid hanya ditemukan pada umbi dan daun.  Ekstrak etanol batang dan daun menunjukkan hasil positif untuk tanin dan fenolik.  Alkaloid, saponin dan terpenoid tidak ditemukan pada ketiga ekstrak tersebut.  Ekstrak etanol daun memiliki potensi penghambatan terhadap S. sonnei lebih besar dibandingkan umbi dan batang, terutama pada konsentrasi 100%.  Meskipun demikian zona hambat yang terbentuk masih belum cukup efektif jika dibandingkan dengan zona hambat yang dibentuk oleh kontrol positif yaitu tetrasiklin.  Shigella sonnei a pathogenic bacterium that causes bacillary dysentery – a disease with high prevalence in developing countries. This bacterium has been reported resistant to several antibiotics. Development of new antibacterial compounds is regarded necessary. This study was conducted to describe the phytochemical content and potentials of ethanol extract from the tubers, stems and leaves of fameflowers (Talinum paniculatum) in inhibiting the growth of S. sonnei in vitro. Phytochemical test was performed to the ethanol extract using Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC). Antibacterial potential was assessed using Kirby Baeur disc diffusion swab on different treatment concentrations of 50%, 75% and 100%  with positive control (20% tetracycline), and negative control (DMSO 10%) in 5 replications. The phytochemical tests showed that secondary metabolites from the steroid group were found in tubers, stems and leaves of the famefolowers. However, flavonoids were only found in tubers and leaves. The ethanol extracts of stems and leaves also contained tannins and phenolics. Furthermore, neither Alkaloids, saponins or terpenoids were found in the three extracts. In addition, ethanol extract from the leaves showed stronger inhibitory potential against S. sonnei extracts from tubers and stems, particularly at 100% concentration. Salah satu hambatan pengembangan tanaman ini adalah tingkat produktivitasnya yang rendah. Metode yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas Cabe Puyang adalah kultur kalus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kultur kalus merupakan metode yang efektif untuk perbanyakan Cabe Puyang. Eksplan daun dan batang diinokulasi pada medium Murashige and Skoog (MS) dengan penambahan 0,5 mg/l 2,4-D dan 0,5 mg/l BA untuk mengetahui eksplan paling responsif. Eksplan tersebut diinokulasi pada medium MS dengan kombinasi 2,4-D:BA dan NAA:BA (0:0; 0,5:0,5; 0,5:1; dan 1:0,5) mg/l untuk optimasi medium induksi kalus. Kalus disubkultur ke medium dengan penambahan BA (0; 0,5; 1; 2; dan 3) mg/l untuk optimasi medium regenerasi tunas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan eksplan batang lebih responsif dibandingkan daun. Kombinasi 0,5 mg/l 2,4-D + 0,5 mg/l BA dan 0,5 mg/l 2,4-D dan 1 mg/l BA menunjukkan respon pembentukan kalus paling cepat, yaitu selama 9 hari. Belum terdapat tunas yang terbentuk pada tahap regenerasi, namun pada konsentrasi 1 mg/l BA kalus mulai menunjukkan tanda regenerasi, seperti tekstur kalus friable dan warna menjadi kuning kehijauan.Javanese chili is a plant that has the potential to be developed into medicinal plants in Indonesia. One of the obstacles of the development of this plant is the low level of productivity. The method that can be used to increase the productivity of Long pepper is callus culture. This study aims to determine whether callus culture is an effective method for Long pepper propagation. Leaf dan stem explants were grown on Murashige dan Skoog (MS) medium with the addition of 0.5 mg / l 2,4-D dan 0.5 mg / l BA to determine the most responsive explants. The explants were grown on MS medium with a combination of 2,4-D: BA dan NAA: BA (0: 0; 0.5: 0.5; 0.5: 1; dan 1: 0.5) mg / l for optimization of callus induction medium. Callus was sub cultured to the medium with the addition of BA (0; 0.5; 1; 2; dan 3) mg / l for the optimization of the shoot regeneration medium. The results showed stem explants were more responsive than leaves. The combination of 0.5 mg / l 2,4-D + 0.5 mg / l BA dan 0.5 mg / l 2,4-D dan 1 mg / l BA showed the fastest response to callus formation, which was for 9 days. Moluska merupakan hewan lunak yang mempunyai cangkang, termasuk kelas gastropoda dan bivalvia pada umumnya berhasil menyesuaikan diri dan berasosiasi di beberapa tempat. Tujuan penelitian meliputi (1) untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman Moluska dan (2) untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman vegetasi perairan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode transek dikombinasi dengan metode plot (1x1m) untuk sampling moluska  dan metode purposive sampling untuk kajian tipe substrat dan keanekaragaman vegetasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  (1) dijumpai 7 famili, 8 genus dan 8 spesies moluska meliputi Tarebia granifera, Pomacea canalicula L., Melanoides tuberculate, Thiara scabra, Pilsbryoconcha exilis, Bellamya javanica, Faunus ater, dan Gyraulus convexiusculus. (2)  dijumpai 5 famili, 7 genus dan 7 sepsies vegetasi perairan meliputi Eichhornia crassipes, Nymphaea lotus L., Vallisneria americana, Hydrilla verticillate, Ottelia alismoides L., Pistia stratiotes L., dan Spirogyra sp. Mollusca bellongs to gastropods and bivalvia in general, they are group of Invertebrate animals living in several types of habitat. This research aims to understand: (1) the variety of Mollusca, and (2) the variety of sea vegetation. Plot sampling were use as method with 1MX 1M plot for mollusca samplinh, while for its substrate and sea vegetation purposive sampling were use. The results shows that there were 7 families, 8 genus and 8 spescies of mollusca. They were Tarebia granifera, Pomacea canalicula L., Melanoides tuberculate, Thiara scabra, Pilsbryoconcha exilis, Bellamya javanica, Faunus ater, and Gyraulus convexiusculus. Identifikasi terhadap penyebab penyakit krepes di pertanian jamur Indonesia ini belum dilakukan secara komprehensif. Identifikasi terhadap tungau penyebab penyakit krepes membutuhkan teknik perbanyakan tungau yang tepat dimana informasi tentang media optimum pertumbuhan tungau menjadi dasar yang penting untuk mendukung teknik kultur tungau yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari medium optimum untuk perbanyakan kultur tungau. Penelitian ini menggunakan beragam bahan yang kemungkinan menjadi media preferensi tungau untuk tumbuh, baik pada uji medium invitro ataupun pada uji medium lapang (pada baglog jamur). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tungau penyebab penyakit krepes pada jamur kuping lebih menyukai tempat hidup pada baglog yang sudah ditumbuhi oleh miselium jamur dan baglog yang sudah menghasilkan badan buah jamur. Hal ini terkait ketersediaan nutrisi yang dimiliki oleh miselium atau badan buah jamur yang telah tumbuh dalam media baglog.Kata Kunci: tungau; krepes; medium, jamur kupingAbstract: Wood ear mushrooms (Auricularia polythrica), that is commonly cultivated by mushroom farmers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, is often plagued by a disease which has the local name : krepes. The group of mites (acarina) has been declared as the causal agent of krepes disease. Identification of the causes of crepes in Indonesian mushroom farming has not been carried out comprehensively. Identification of mites that cause krepes requires proper propagation techniques where the optimum growth medium serves as a basis for supporting mites culture techniques. This research aims to study the optimum medium for mite culture propagation. A variety of materials that are likely to be the preferred media for mites to grow were used, either on the invitro test or field test (mushroom baglog). Results showed that the mites prefer to live on the mushroom baglogs which has been covered by fungal mycelium and baglogs which has produced mushroom bodies. Keterampilan ini dibutuhkan dalam menemukan solusi terhadap suatu permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi, salah satu model yang memiliki potensi untuk melatih proses berpikir kreatif yaitu model pembelajaran Project based learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis besarnya pengaruh (effect size) penggunaan model PjBL terhadap berpikir kreatif pada pembelajaran biologi (1) secara keseluruhan, (2) berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan, (3) berdasarkan wilayah, dan (4) berdasarkan materi ajarnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif terhadap analisis hasil publikasi penelitian ilmiah pada jurnal dan skripsi. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa secara keseluruhan dari berbagai penelitian yang dilakukan memiliki pengaruh yang besar dan efektif terhadap peningkatan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan effect size 0,749. Model PjBL pula memberikan pengaruh dan efektif baik pada jenjang SMP dan SMA dengan kategori efek yang besar. Model pembelajaran PjBL menghasilkan effect size yang bervariasi dari berbagai wilayah, begitupula dari segi materi Biologi, adapun materi Pencemaran Lingkungan memberikan pengaruh lebih besar dibandingkan dengan materi Biologi lainnya seperti Archaebacteria Eubacteria, Keanekaragaman Makhluk Hidup, dan Plantae. Abstract: Creative thinking is one of the main components in 21st century learning, given the rapid development of technological knowledge today. These skills are needed in finding solutions to a developing problem. One model that has the potential to train creative thinking processes is the Project-based learning model. This study aims to analyze the large effect (effect size) of using the PjBL model on creative thinking in biology learning (1) in total, (2) by education level, (3) by region, and (4) based on the teaching material. The research method used is descriptive analysis of the results of scientific research publications in journals and theses. Based on the research findings, it was revealed that the whole of the various studies conducted had a large and effective effect on improving students' creative thinking with an effect size of 0.749. The PjBL model also has a good and effective effect on junior and senior high schools with large securities categories. Kualitas udara yang baik juga sangat dibutuhkan di dalam laboratorium mengingat laboratorium adalah unit penunjang akademik berupa ruang tertutup yang digunakan untuk melakukan percobaan ilmiah, penelitian, praktek pembelajaran, kegiatan pengujian, kalibrasi, atau produksi bahan tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas bakteriologis udara pada Laboratorium Terpadu FKIP UMP yang berjumlah 3 ruangan dan dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan rancangan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada tiga ruang laboratorium yang berbeda pada waktu pagi dan sore hari sebanyak 3 kali. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji one way ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara jumlah angka bakteri udara di ruang R1 (Mikrobiologi dan Biokimia) dibandingkan ruang R2 (Zoologi dan Biologi Lingkungan) dan R3 (Botani dan Genetika). Selain itu, diketahui bahwa jenis bakteri udara yang ditemukan terdiri atas empat kelompok yaitu bakteri batang Gram negatif, kokus Gram positif, batang Gram positif dan kokus Gram negatif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kualitas bakteriologi udara pada tiga ruang Laboratorium Terpadu FKIP UMP masih berada pada kisaran normal namun menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan, dimana jumlah angka bakteri udara di ruang R1 (312.000 CFU/m3) lebih tinggi dibandingkan di ruang R2 (82.413 CFU/m3) dan R3 (176.600 CFU/m3). Bakteri udara yang ditemukan pada tiga ruang Laboratorium Terpadu FKIP UMP terdiri atas empat kelompok yaitu bakteri batang Gram negatif (15,3%), kokus Gram positif (20,4%), batang Gram positif (22,4%) dan kokus Gram negatif (41,8%). Abstract: Air is one of the important components of life for various types of organisms. Therefore, its quality and components must be preserved since it is one of the media for the spread and transmission of pathogenic bacteria. Good air quality is essential in a laboratory, considering that it is a closed room used to carry out scientific experiments, research, learning practices, testing, calibration, or production of particular materials as an academic support unit. This study aims to determine the bacteriological quality of air in the Integrated Laboratory of FKIP UMP, which consists of 3 rooms. It was carried out using an experimental method with a cross sectional design. The sampling was carried out three times in the morning and evening in three different rooms. The obtained data were analyzed utilizing one way ANOVA test and followed by DMRT test. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MAN 2 dan MAN 1 Kota Tasikmalaya tahun ajaran 2020-2021. Populasinya adalah seluruh kelas XI MIA yang terdiri atas 3 kelas dengan jumlah 87 siswa di MAN 2 dan di MAN 1 Kota Tasikmalaya terdiri dari 5 kelas XI MIA yang berjumlah 173 siswa. Sampel diambil dari kelas XI MIA 1 di MAN 2 dan kelas XI MIA 4 di MAN 1 Kota Tasikmalaya yang diambil berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Metodologi: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan komparatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan mengggunaan instrumen tes soal literasi lingkungan dan instrumen angket sikap peduli lingkungan yang diberikan kepada kelas sampel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan literasi lingkungan dan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa sekolah adiwiyata dengan non adiwiyata. Hal ini terbukti berdasarkan uji hipotesis (two way anova) diketahui nilai signifikasi 0,04 0,05 artinya adanya perbedaan literasi lingkungan dan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa di sekolah adiwiyata dengan non adiwiyata.Keywords: Literasi lingkungan; sikap peduli lingkungan; Adiwiyata; Non Adiwiyata. Absract: This study discusses environmental literacy and environmental care attitudes of students in two different schools, namely MAN 2 as an Adiwiyata school and MAN 1 as a non-Adiwiyata school, which aims to determine the differences in environmental literacy and environmental care attitudes between Adiwiyata and non Adiwiyata schools. This research was conducted in MAN 2 and MAN 1 Kota Tasikmalaya in the academic year 2020-2021. The population is all class XI MIA which consists of 3 classes with a total of 87 students in MAN 2 and in MAN 1 Kota Tasikmalaya consisting of 5 classes XI MIA totaling 173 students. Samples were taken from class XI MIA 1 in MAN 2 and class XI MIA 4 in MAN 1 Kota Tasikmalaya which were taken based on purposive sampling technique. Methodology: This research is a quantitative study with a comparative approach. The data collection technique used the environmental literacy test instrument and the environmental care attitude questionnaire instrument given to the sample class. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there are differences in environmental literacy and environmental care attitudes of Adiwiyata and non Adiwiyata school students. Dalam perkembangannya, perlu dilakukan inovasi dalam dunia pendidikan agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu kiat yang dilakukan adalah dengan mengembangkan media pembelajaran LKPD. Media LKPD yang akan dikembangakan diharapkan memiliki nilai serta manfaat untuk meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kelayakan dan efektifitas LKPD Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw Materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup Kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Kewapante. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengembangan LKPD model four D (4D) yang meliputi tahap pendefenisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop), dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Tahap awal yaitu memvalidasi LKPD oleh para ahli (materi, media, Bahasa), kemudian dilakukan uji kelayakan pada kelas kecil dan kelas besar. LKPD yang sudah diuji kelayakan kemudian diuji keefektifan di kelas dengan mencai nilai gain score. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah Lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis kooperatif tipe jigsaw yang dikembangakan memiliki tingkat kevalidan yang sangat tinggi berdasarkan hasil penilaian para ahli, selain itu LKPD juga tergolong tingkat kelayakan sangat layak hasil uji coba skala kecil dan skala besar dan LKPD juga efektif serta berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik di SMPN 1 Kewapante dengan nilai gain score kategori sedang. hasil belajar siswa. Makroalga memiliki peranan penting baik dari segi biologis, ekologis maupun ekonomis yang dapat mempertahankan keanekaragaman sumberdaya hayati laut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis makroalga yang tersebar di perairan Wula-Waijelu dan mendeskripsikan jenis makroalga yang tersebar di perairan tersebut secara visual dan morfologi. Metode pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode eksplorasi dengan menjelajahi seluruh perairan Wula-Waijelu. Kemudian, sampel yang telah ditemukan diidentifikasi menggunakan buku identifikasi makroalga di Laboratorium Terpadu Unkriswina. Selain itu, dilakukan pengukuran kualitas air seperti suhu, oksigen terlarut (DO), dan derajat keasaman (pH). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas perairan Wula-Waijelu cukup baik, dengan rata-rata suhu sebesar 29.26 oC, pH sebesar 8.1, dan DO sebesar 8.2. Selanjutnya, hasil identifikasi makroalga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 kelas utama yaitu alga hijau 5 spesies (Caulerpa racemosa, Caulerpa cupressoides, Caulerpa lentillifera, Halimeda discoides, Halimeda opuntia, alga merah 2 spesies (Eucheuma cottonii dan Actinotrichia fragilis Forsskål), dan 1 spesies alga cokelat (Sargassum vulgare).  Abstract: Macroalgae are a very potential biological resource to be developed and scattered in intertidal coastal areas. Macroalgae have an important role from a biological, ecological and economic perspective that can maintain the diversity of marine biological resources. The purpose of this study was to identify the types of macroalgae scattered in the Wula-Waijelu waters and to describe the types of macroalgae that are scattered in these waters visually and morphologically. The sampling method was carried out by the exploration method by exploring the entire Wula-Waijelu waters. Then, the samples that were found were identified using the macroalgae identification book at the terpadu laboratory of Unkriswina. In addition, water quality measurements such as temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO) and degree of acidity (pH) were carried out. The results showed that the quality of the Wula-Waijelu waters was quite good, with an average temperature was 29.26 oC, pH was 8.1, and DO was 8.2. Kelompok tumbuhan yang tertua yang masih dapat dijumpai didaratan adalah tumbuhan paku (Pteridophyta) yang mencangkup lebih dari 9.000 Spesies. Salah satu daerah yang  memiliki tumbuhan paku adalah di kawasan air terjun Satan Muara Beliti Baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis tumbuhan paku (pteridophyta) dan faktor abiotik  di kawasan Air Terjun Satan Muara Beliti Baru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode survei. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa  jenis tumbuhan paku (Pteridophyta) yang ditemukan di Air Terjun Satan Muara Beliti Baru diperoleh 13 spesies yang terdiri dari 6 famili dan 9 genus tumbuhan paku (Pteridophyta) yaitu: Asplenium nidus, Nephrolepis exaltata, Dryopteris filix-mas, Nephrolepis cordifolia, Nephrolepis biserrata, Ploecnemia irregularis, Lygodium circinatum, Diplazium esculentum, Belvisia spicata, Selaginella wildenowii, Selaginella intermedia, Selaginella plana dan Christella dentata. Faktor abiotik di Air Terjun Satan Muara Beliti Baru yaitu  pH tanah 7,0-7,5 (asam-basa), kelembaban tanah berkisaran 20%-40%, dan suhu udara 28°C. Kata kunci: Air Terjun Satan, Inventarisasi, Tumbuhan Paku. Abstract: Plants are a group of multicellular living things on earth. The oldest group of plants that can still be found on land are ferns (Pteridophyta) which cover more than 9,000 species. One area that has ferns is in the Satan Muara Beliti Baru waterfall area. This study aims to determine the types of ferns (pteridophyta) and abiotic factors in the Muara Beliti Baru Satan Waterfall area. The research method used was the survey method. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that the types of ferns (Pteridophyta) found in Muara Beliti Baru Satan Waterfall were obtained 13 species consisting of 6 families and 9 genera of ferns (Pteridophyta), namely: Asplenium nidus, Nephrolepis exaltata, Dryopteris filix-mas, Nephrolepis cordifolia. , Nephrolepis biserrata, Ploecnemia irregularis, Lygodium circinatum, Diplazium esculentum, Belvisia spicata, Selaginella wildenowii, Selaginella intermedia, Selaginella plana and Christella dentata.
