Insektisida dapat berfungsi sebagai repellent untuk mengendalikan serangga termasuk lalat rumah yang berperan sebagai vektor penyakit. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui potensi ekstrak bunga kecombrang dan konsentrasinya yang paling efektif sebagai repellent lalat rumah. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Maret sampai dengan April 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain Rancangan Acak Lengkap satu faktor menggunakan 5 perlakuan yaitu konsentrasi ekstrak 8%, 12%, 16%, 20% dan 24% dengan ulangan sebanyak 4 kali. Parameter yang diamati adalah banyaknya lalat rumah yang berada pada lengan kontrol dan lengan perlakuan. Jumlah lalat pada kedua lengan dihitung untuk memperoleh indeks repellent. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA satu faktor kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan pada taraf nyata 1%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa ekstrak bunga kecombrang memiliki potensi sebagai Repellent Lalat Rumah dan paling efektif pada konsentrasi 16%. Abstract: Kecombrang flowers contain many secondary metabolite compounds including polyphenols, flavonoids, saponins, tannins and terpenoids which are essential oils that can act as insecticides. Insecticide can function as a repellent to control insects including house flies that act as vectors of disease. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of kecombrang flower extract and its most effective concentration as a repellent for house flies. The study was conducted from March to April 2020. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design using 5 treatments, namely extract concentrations of 8%, 12%, 16%, 20% and 24% with 4 replications. The parameters observed were the number of house flies in the control arm and treatment arm. The number of flies on both arms was calculated to obtain a repellent index. The data obtained were analyzed using one-factor ANOVA then followed by Duncan Test at 1% significance level. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang terdiri dari define, design, develop dan tahapan diseminasi. Selama tahap define, dilakukan uji validitas konten dan konstruksi terhadap soal keterampilan meneliti. Kemudian, konstruksi soal tes dikembangkan dan direvisi. Uji coba diberikan untuk dianalisis dengan validitas dan reliabilitas internal. Hasil penelitian ini berupa seperangkat instrumen tes keterampilan meneliti yang terdiri dari 7 aspek keterampilan meneliti yang diadaptasi dan dimodifikasi dari matriks assesmen pengembangan keterampilan meneliti (RSD) dari Willison O’Regan kemudian dikembangkan menjadi 10 pertanyaan untuk mengukur aspek keterampilan meneliti, yaitu Identifikasi masalah, Merumuskan masalah, Merumuskan hipotesis, Membuat rancangan/desain penelitian, Mengumpulkan data, Menganalisis data, dan Membuat kesimpulan. Soal disajikan dalam konteks wacana memuat permasalahan limbah pabrik tahu. Hasil validasi ahli dan uji coba menunjukkan bahwa kesepuluh pertanyaan tersebut valid dan reliabel. Demikian hasil dari studi ini merekomendasikan penggunaan instrumen tes ini untuk penelitian dalam mengukur keterampilan meneliti pada program riset autentik.Abstract: This study aims to develop an instrument used to assess the researching skills of students in the youth scientific community in an authentic research program. This study used a research and development method consisting of define, design, develop and dissemination stages. During the define stage, a content and construction validity test was conducted on the research skill questions and then the construction of test questions was developed and revised. The given trial was analyzed by internal validity and reliability. The results of this study were a set of research skills test instruments consisting of 7 aspects of researching skills; Identifying the problems, Formulating the problems, Formulating hypotheses, Making research designs, Collecting data, Analyzing data, and Making conclusions; which is adapted and modified from the Willison O'Regan's research skills development assessment matrix (RSD). That result was developed into 10 questions to measure the aspects of research skills which were presented in the discourse context regarding the problem of tofu factory waste. The results of the expert validation and trials showed that the ten questions were valid and reliable. Selama ini belum ada penelitian yang mengkaji aspek pola pertumbuhan ikan belanak yang ada di wilayah ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola pertumbuhan ikan belanak yang ditemukan di Sungai Barumun. Penelitian ini bersifat eksploratif, dimana stasiun penelitian ditentukan berdasarkan informasi dari nelayan yang sering menangkap ikan belanak. Pengambilan sampel ikan dilakukan selama 3 bulan (November 2020, Desember2020,dan Januari 2021). Sampel ikan ditangkap menggunakan jaring insang (gillnet). Hasil tangkapan setelah diidentifikasi menemukan 3 spesies yaitu: Chelon subviridis, Moolgarda perusi dan Liza alata. Hasil analisis data untuk pola pertumbuhan ikan belanak bersifat alometrik negatif dengan nilai b pada spesiesC. subviridis (0,145), M. perusi (0,108), dan L. alata (0,185).Abstract: Barumun River has a considerable potential of fish resources, one of which is the mullet fish that belongs to the mugilidae family. So far, there has been no research that examines aspects of the growth patterns of mullet in this region. The purpose of this research is to find out the growth pattern of mullet found in Barumun River. This research is exploratory, where the research station is determined based on information from fishermen who often catch mullet. Fish sampling was conducted for 3 months (November 2020, December 2020, and January 2021). Samples of fish are caught using gillnets. The catch after being identified found 3 species namely: Chelon subviridis, Moolgarda perusi and Liza alata. Metode penelitian adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh Kelas XI IPA sebanyak 7 kelas yang berjumlah 248 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian yaitu Kelas XI IPA 1 dan kelas XI IPA 2 yang dipilih berdasarkan pada kesamaan nilai rata-rata akhir semester dan kelas dengan nilai terendah. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas soal kognitif pilihan ganda sebanyak 30 soal yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil analisis statistik didapatkan skor rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen 0,58 dan skor rata-rata N-gain kelas kontrol 0,38. Skor N-gain kedua kelas tersebut termasuk kategori sedang. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dengan taraf 5% diperoleh thitung 6,5007 dan ttabel 1,9944. Dengan analisis thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media peta konsep terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada sub konsep sistem indera.Kata kunci: Peta Konsep, Hasil Belajar, Sistem Indera�Abstrack: This study aims to determine the effect of concept map media on student learning outcomes in the sub-concept of the sensory system in class XI Natural Science in one of the High Schools in Tasikmalaya whose learning process has not used varied learning media. The method used is a quasi-experimental with the research design nonequivalent control group design. The study population was all Class XI Natural Sciences with 7 classes totaling 248 people. The sampling technique was using purposive sampling technique. The research samples were Class XI Natural Science 1 and Class XI Natural Science 2 which were selected based on the similarity of the average score at the end of the semester and the class with the lowest score. The research instrument consisted of 30 multiple choice cognitive questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of statistical analysis showed that the experimental class N-gain average score was 0,58 and the control class N-gain average score was 0,38. The N-gain scores of the two classes are in the moderate category. The results of hypothesis testing using the t test with a level of 5% obtained thitung 6,5007 and ttabel 1,9944. By analyzing thitung > ttabel then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Akan tetapi hasil lapangan menemukan bahwa pada beberapa guru biologi belum pernah melakukan penilaian penalaran ilmiah pada siswa, sehingga penelitian ini akan mengembangkan instrumen penalaran ilmiah pada materi sistem pertahanan tubuh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui validitas produk instrumen penalaran ilmiah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan pendekatan model 4 D (Define, Design, Develop and Dessiminate). Populasi sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 validator yang terdiri dari 3 Dosen sebagai ahli penalaran ilmiah, ahli materi dan 2 Guru praktisi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sample. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi dan lembar wawancara. Hasil validasi yang dilakukan dua kali berada pada kategori validitas sangat tinggi, hal ini menunjukan bahwa produk instrumen penalaran ilmiah pada materi sistem pertahanan tubuh kelas XI yang peneliti kembangkan layak untuk digunakan.Kata Kunci: Instrumen penilaian; penalaran ilmiah; sistem pertahanan tubuh�Abstract: In the 21st century the ability to reason is an ability that students must have in solving problems. In this case the learning process must be able to assess students' scientific reasoning. However, the field results found that some biology teachers have never conducted scientific reasoning assessments on students, so this research will develop scientific reasoning instruments on the body's defense system material. The purpose of this study was to determine the product validity of scientific reasoning instruments. Type of research is development research (R&D) with a 4 D model approach (Define, Design, Develop and Dessiminate). The sample population taken in this study were 5 validators consisting of 3 lecturers as scientific reasoning experts, material experts and 2 teacher practitioners. The sampling technique used purposive sample. Data collection techniques using validation sheets and interview sheets. Desa Losari merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan sumowono Kabupaten semarang yang terletak di kaki Gunung Ungaran sehingga keadaannya masih asri dan alami. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Bulan Juli 2020. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat keanekaragaman jenis makrofauna tanah yang ada di kawasan lahan pertanian Desa Losari dengan tanaman yang berbeda. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan dua metode yaitu Pit fall trap dan Hand sorting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keanekaragaman jenis di lokasi penelitian tergolong rendah. Total makrofauna tanah yang tercatat di lokasi penelitian sebanyak 37 jenis yang terdiri dari 3 filum. Lahan pertanian tanaman kubis (stasiun I) memiliki tingkat keanekaragaman yang tertinggi dibandingkan dengan stasiun lainnya dengan nilai H' = 1,064. Filum dengan jumlah terbanyak di lokasi penelitian adalah filum Arthropoda sebanyak 33 jenis dari 98 total jenis makrofauna tanah yang telah ditemukan.Kata Kunci: keanekaragaman makrofauna tanah; hortikultura; pit fall trap; hand sorting.Abstract: Soil macrofauna is part of soil biodiversity which has an important role in improving the physical, chemical, and biological properties of soil through immobilization and humification processes. Losari Village is one of the villages in Sumowono District, Semarang Regency, which is located at the foot of Mount Ungaran so that the condition is still beautiful and natural. This research was conducted in July 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of diversity of soil macrofauna species in the agricultural area of Losari Village with different plants. Data were collected by two methods, namely Pit fall trap and Hand sorting. The results showed that the level of species diversity in the study location was low. The total soil macrofauna recorded at the research location were 37 species consisting of 3 phyla. Cabbage farming land (station I) has the highest level of diversity compared to other stations with a value of H' = 1.064. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia interaktif terintegrasi nilai sains yang dilihat dari segi kelayakan dan keefektifan multimedia interaktif terintegrasi nilai sains sebagai solusi peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) Borg and Gall dengan 9 tahapan. Subjek riset meliputi tiga ahli validator yaitu ahli media, materi, dan ahli bahasa. Dan peserta didik kelas XI MIPA sebagai sampel penelitian yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas kontrol (XI MIPA 6) dan kelas eksperimen (XI MIPA 4). �Hasil data penelitian pada kelayakan produk yang terlihat dari persentasi validator yaitu ahli media sebesar 87,10%, ahli materi sebesar 83,00% dan ahli bahasa 83,08% dengan kriteria �Sangat Layak� serta respon peserta didik sebesar 85,33 % yang menunjukkan kriteria �Sangat Menarik�. Efektivitas dari multimedia interaktif dari hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan uji t Independen menghasilkan thitung sebesar 7,95 dan ttabel sebesar 1,70 yang artinya thitung > ttabel dan H1 diterima dan hasil rata-rata nilai N-Gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,66 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,29. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia interaktif terintegrasi nilai sains sangat layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran biologi sebagai solusi peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dikelas XI MIPA Di SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung.Kata Kunci: Biologi; Kemampuan berpikir kritis; Multimedia interaktif; Nilai sains.�Abstract: Utilization of technology is not realized even though the use of technological media such as android interactive multimedia can make learning more effective and effective. This study was designed to develop interactive multimedia that is integrated with the value of science seen in terms of the feasibility and effectiveness of interactive multimedia integrated with the value of science as a solution to improve students' critical thinking skills. Borg and Gall Research and Development (R&D) Method with 9 stages. The research subjects added three validator experts namely media, materials, and linguists. And students of class XI MIPA as a research sample consisting of two classes, namely the control class (XI MIPA 6) and the experimental class (XI MIPA 4). The results of research data on the feasibility of the product seen from the percentage validator were media experts at 87.10%, material experts at 83.00% and linguists 83.08% with the criteria \"Very Eligible\" and the response of students at 85.33% which shows the \"Very Attractive\" criteria. Kondisi tersebut terlihat pada hasil belajar kognitif mahasiswa yang masih banyak dalam kategori cukup. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh strategi review artikel ilmiah terhadap kesadaran metakognisi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa serta menganalisis hubungan kedua variable tersebut. Sampel adalah mahasiswa yang menempuh mata kuliah Endokrinologi dengan desain penelitian one shot case study. Hasil penelitian terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif mahasiswa yaitu 25,9% kategori sangat baik, 51,9% kategori baik dan 22,2% kategori cukup. Kesadaran metakognisi adalah 79,8% dengan kategori baik dimana nilai tertinggi pada pengetahuan kondisional. Hasil uji statistic multivariant annova adalah pembelajaran menggunakan review artikel ilmiah berpengaruh terhadap kesadaran metakognisi dan hasil belajar kognitif mahasiswa. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara kesadaran metakognisi dengan hasil belajar kognitif dengan nilai korelasi 0,886. Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan adalah terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif dan kesadaran metakognisi mahasiswa, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pembelajaran menggunakan review artikel ilmiah terhadap kesadaran metakognisi dan hasil belajar kognitif serta terdapat korelasi yang positif antara kedua variable tersebut. metakognisi menekankan pemantauan dan tanggung jawab diri siswa, sehingga siswa dapat mengatur dirinya untuk merencanakan, memantau dan mengevaluasi tujuan pembelajarannya sehinggan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitifnyaKata- kata kunci: Kesadaran metakognisi; Hasil belajar kognitif; Review artikel ilmiah�Abstract: Students still have difficulty managing new information and relating it to previously received material. This condition can be seen in the cognitive learning outcomes of students who are still in the sufficient category. The purpose of this study was to anlyze the effect of scientific article review strategies on metacognition awareness and student learning outcomes and the relationship between the two variables. The sample was students taking the Endocrinology course with a one-shot case study research design. The results of the study showed an increase in student cognitive learning outcomes, 25.9% very good category, 51.9% good category and 22.2% sufficient category. Metacognition awareness was 79.8% with the good category where the highest score was on conditional knowledge. The result of the Annova multivariant statistical test is that learning using scientific article reviews has an effect on metacognition awareness and cognitive learning outcomes of students. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan instrument hasil belajar mengenai sub materi vertebrata yang dikerjakan oleh 30 peserta didik kelas X MIPA. Dilakukan pula wawancara bersama guru biologi dan beberapa peserta didik untuk mendapatkan keabsahan data dari soal tes yang sudah dikerjakan. Tes hasil belajar mencakup beberapa indikator dalam dimensi kognitif, yaitu dimensi ranah pengetahuan kognititf yang terdiri dari K1 dan K2, serta dimensi ranah proses kognitif yang terdiri dari C1-C5. Data dianalisis dengan cara mencari rata-rata nilai dan rata-rata skor dari masing-masing indikator pada ranah kognitif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh data sebagai berikut: 1) Dimensi pengetahuan kognitif peserta didik lebih baik pada pengetahuan faktual;2) Dimensi proses kognitif yang dikuasai oleh peserta didik adalah pada C1 (proses mengingat), sedangkan yang kurang dikuasai oleh peserta didik adalah pada C4 (proses menganalisis); 3) Penguasaan konsep peserta didik pada sub materi vertebrata yaitu materi yang dianggap mudah oleh peserta didik merupakan materi yang bersifat umum karena berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, diantaranya yaitu mengenai pengertian vertebrata, pembahasan mengenai hewan pisces, dan materi mengenai seputar reptile; 4) Kesulitan peserta didik dalam mempelajari sub materi vertebrata adalah dalam segi mendalami materi, karena banyaknya jenis hewan vertebrata yang harus dikuasai oleh peserta didik. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was carried out by giving learning outcomes instruments about vertebrate sub material which was done by 30 students of Class X math and science. Interview tests were also carried out with biology teachers and some students to get the validity of the data from the test questions that had been done. The learning outcomes test includes several indicators in the cognitive dimension, namely the cognitive knowledge domain consisting of K1 and K2, as well as the cognitive process domain consisting of C1-C5. Data were analyzed by finding the average value and the average score of each indicator in the cognitive domain. To increase produce large quantities of uniform and healthy seedlings, induction of multiplication has been carried out on Musa acuminata cv. Mas Kirana. Plant regeneration were obtained by culturing sucker on MS medium supplemented with PGRs BAP and NAA (1 mg/l + 0.5 mg/l, 2 mg/l + 0.5 mg/l, and 3 mg/l + 0.5 mg/l) and TDZ (0.25 mg/l, 0.5 mg/l, and 0.75 mg/l). The highest shoot formation was found in 0.25 mg/l TDZ with average shoots of 13.67 � 3.16 and primary shoot height is 20 cm. TDZ induction tends to form somatic embryos, while induction of BAP and NAA leads to organogenesis. The rate of contaminants occurrence from bacteria is 87.50% and 12.50% from fungus.
