Com esse pressuposto, discute-se a relação entre os interesses do capital e as políticas públicas para a formação de professores da educação básica – professores que, inevitavelmente, atuarão em um mundo cada vez mais globalizado, sob a tutela do neoliberalismo. Direcionada pelo ideário neoliberal, a educação assume um papel em conformidade com as exigências de inserção compulsória da sociedade à nova ordem mundial. Nesse contexto, a análise dessas políticas públicas educacionais só pode ser eficiente com a adoção do método proposto por Marx para a crítica da economia política. Assim, esta discussão busca entender a educação básica em sua real dimensão, livre de amarras ideológicas.","PeriodicalId":30442,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Ciencias da Educacao","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68428441","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Far from being a Marxist revolutionary, the practice developed by the Italian priest was uncomfortable for some Catholics, but it also caused admiration in some sectors of the Church of the nineteenth century, for the social praxis created and developed by the young priest was revolutionary in the social context of his time. “To be in the world for others” was one of the main slogans that permeated the sense of life and priestly practice of John Bosco, founder of the Society of St. Francis de Sales (Salesians). At the end of the first half of the 19th century, in Turin, Italy, John Bosco transformed the social reality of young people without perspective, giving them a sense of living. John Bosco, as a priest, was based on evangelical values, inspired by the biblical image of the “Good Shepherd” who gives his life for his sheep. The text presents the historical context in which he inserted the social and community activity of John Bosco, highlighting the unde\u0002niable legacy that inspires professionals in the area of education, especially those who are dedicated to peripheral schools or regions of less privileged social clas\u0002ses. The analysis contributes to educators and those who act directly or indirectly in other spheres of the social area understand the need to recognize the needs of social subjects in order to reconfigure and transform their social reality.","PeriodicalId":30442,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Ciencias da Educacao","volume":"1 1","pages":"161-183"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48986920","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of this work was to understand how the establishment of Colegio Juve\u0002nal de Carvalho was carried out and the implementation of Secondary Education along the Salesian lines. Historical research was carried out, with the support of documents such as excerpts from newspapers, decrees of authorization / opening of teaching levels and a booklet prepared by the institution itself with its history (1933-1995), which made it possible to elaborate a narrative about its foundation. Colegio Juvenal de Carvalho was created to meet the aspirations of the local elite for female education, proved to be a relevant space for the training of girls in the light of Marian principles and asserted the duality of classes; by offering primary and evening education for poor girls to learn a trade and secondary education of a humanistic nature for the training of girls from the elite of Fortaleza.","PeriodicalId":30442,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Ciencias da Educacao","volume":"1 1","pages":"133-160"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68428372","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the programs implemented in 2007 was the One Com-puter Per Student Project with the goal of bringing portable computers to students in public schools. But a question that remains is: what would be the contributions of the UCA Project to the students’ learning and development? To answer this question, the objective of this study is to analyze the contributions of the UCA Project to the students of a college where the program was implemented, the State College Dom Alano Marie Du Noday of Palmas (TO). For this purpose, semi-s\u0002tructured interviews were conducted with school director, coordinators and tea\u0002chers and analyzed secondary data provided by the college. The study demonstra\u0002tes that computer use made significant contributions to the students’ learning, but mainly to their formation as individuals, relationships with colleagues, feelings of cooperation, perception about school and student-teacher relationship. The search was carried out from May to July 2018, in the Capes Periodicals Portal database, using in the first search the descriptors “infant”, “test” and “cognition”, and in the second search, “executive function”, “preschoolers” and “evaluation”. Were found 26 articles.
