Investigations of concrete properties with various amounts of crystallization admixture were performed. 9 concrete mixtures with different amounts of crystallizing admixtures were formed and admixtures were added to the concrete mixes from 0.6% to 1.4% of the cement mass, in increments of 0.1%. During the research, the influence of the amount of crystallization admixture the density of hardened concrete, flexural strength, compressive strength, and shrinkage was determined. After evaluating the physical, mechanical properties and shrinkage of the concrete, it was determined that the optimal amount of crystallizing admixture in the concrete mixture is 1% of the cement mass. Thus, it can be argued that the use of a crystallizing admixture has a positive effect i.e., reduces the shrinkage of concrete, because of which cracks in concrete structures can be avoided.","PeriodicalId":30324,"journal":{"name":"Mokslas Lietuvos Ateitis","volume":"45 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90747822","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its main difference from others is a pneumatic electromagnetic pulsator in combination with a collector. Therefore, this article describes in detail the process of studying the pulsator. The planned experiment was carried out on by Factorial experiments with multiple factors. The influence of factors (the ripple frequency n, the milk ejection q and the ratio between strokes t/T) on the vacuum pressure in the inter wall chamber of teat cups was studied. The regression equation of the dependence response criterion on factors is modeled. This dependence is demonstrated graphically. Also there is a contour graph which is for more detailed information.","PeriodicalId":30324,"journal":{"name":"Mokslas Lietuvos Ateitis","volume":"33 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74301980","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The stresses and displacements caused by such loading methods are given. The effect of prestressing caused by the distributed load and local deflections in the string is discussed in more detail. It is assumed that the additional stresses caused by local displacements under constant load can be treated as prestressing. To confirm the assumption, 2 loading methods are compared: when the structure is loaded with concentrated loads and the string is subjected to additional prestressing; when the structure is subjected to a distributed load without additional prestressing.","PeriodicalId":30324,"journal":{"name":"Mokslas Lietuvos Ateitis","volume":"65 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88960059","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In comparison with other constructions, composite columns account for a diminutive market share. One of the many reasons for this, is the complexity of connections that may require on-site welding, which not only slows down the construction, but also makes it more expensive. With the recent extensive development of blind bolts, new design options for the tube columns emerged. Such bolted joints would eliminate onsite welding and speed up installation. In this review a particular attention is paid to the circular columns, because these columns have the least studied connections. This article reviews the most recent stage in the development of the connections between steel-concrete composite columns and steel beams, as well as provides provisions for using such connections and outlines the directions for further research.","PeriodicalId":30324,"journal":{"name":"Mokslas Lietuvos Ateitis","volume":"65 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84028015","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Design of materials with desired properties is a challenging issue for most industries. And especially in aviation one of the most important factors is mass. Recently with the innovations in 3D printing technologies, the importance of this phenomenon has increased. Numerical simulation of multi-particle systems is based on considering binary interactions; therefore, a simplified but as much accurate as possible particle interaction model is required for simulations. Particular cases of axisymmetric particle to substrate contact is modelled at select impact velocities and using different layer thicknesses. When modelling the particle impact at high contact velocity, a substrate thickness dependent change in the restitution coefficient was observed. This change happens is due to elastic waves and is important both to coating and 3D printing technologies when building layers of different properties materials.","PeriodicalId":30324,"journal":{"name":"Mokslas Lietuvos Ateitis","volume":"25 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83723726","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
