Transformational leadership is seen as ideal for replacing transactional leadership practices as it can transform their organizational structure from centralized control systems, absolute hierarchy power practices, significant status differences between the levels of authority as well as decision-making processes that are top-down ' where the leader has the absolute power to make decisions without subordinate involvement. The frequency of its implementation in the leadership of the organization attracts researchers to see if the theory of transformational leadership is in line with the demands of syarak? Hence, this study is carried out to look at the theory of transformational leadership according to the Islamic perspective whether it coincides with the requirements of syarak or otherwise. This study uses a document analysis method where the researcher refers to the study of literature related to transformational leadership as well as looking at it according to the Islamic perspective by focusing on the main source of reference in Islam which is the Quran and al-Sunnah. The findings showed that the theory of transformational leadership such as individual consideration, charismatic leadership, inspirational motivation, and intellectual stimulation are in line with the will of Islam. However, the understanding and emphasis of this leadership theory is not fully linked to religious values but is based on the experience and thoughts of the original creator of the theory of leadership. This study hopes that the application of the theory of transformational leadership should be embroidered with the requirements of syarak so that the administrative pattern of a leader will receive blessings and blessings in this world and the hereafter.","PeriodicalId":301324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Law, Government and Communication","volume":"122 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117315813","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has been debated since the 1970s when the group first arrived in Sabah. After more than 50 years, refugees in Sabah are still faced with limited access to health facilities. Although Malaysia has not ratified the 1951 Refugee Convention and the 1967 Protocol, there is no denying that health facilities are important for the survival of refugees in Sabah. Therefore, this study was carried out to identify the current practice of health services for the refugee group and debate it from the perspective of Maqasid Syariah whether it is in line with the policy of caring for the religion, life, intellect, lineage/dignity and property of the group. This qualitative study was conducted using the literature method by applying the content analysis approach. The results of the study found that the current health services for refugees in Sabah have not been able to cover the 5 main human needs (daruri) in a balanced manner according to the framework of Maqasid Syariah. This study is expected to be one of the guidelines in the construction of a balanced health service policy for the refugee group in accordance with the principles of Maqasid Syariah which safeguards the rights of essential human needs (daruri) namely religion, life, intellect, lineage/dignity and property in achieving benefits and preventing life harm.","PeriodicalId":301324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Law, Government and Communication","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125569965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A person's image and heart depend not on his race, color, ancestry, rank, or property, but are measured based on the height of commendable character. Within the framework of this fraternity, social interaction among people should follow the manners outlined by Islam. To reflect the brotherhood according to the boundaries of syara', the concept of brotherhood should be based on a noble and steady bond of faith. The neglect of these rights will lead to disagreements, disputes and sever ties between Muslims. Thus, this study was conducted to analyze the concept of brotherhood and friendship in Islam as well as to see how this spirit of brotherhood and friendship can be applied in the day of Muslims. This study focuses on the study of document analysis which is to look at the interpretation of the Quran and the snippets of hadiths as well as past studies related to brotherhood and friendship. The results of the study found that there are various forms of brotherhood and friendship rights that have been recommended by Islam to ensure that the relationship between a Muslim and another Muslim is built such as rights in the field of property, the right to provide assistance to the soul and body, the right to preserve the tongue and heart, the right to preserve speech, the right to give a living, the right to pray for friends, the right to keep promises and to be sincere and the right to provide facilities.
