Subramani suggested ratio median based estimator when the median of the study variable is available and the regression estimator was shown to be significantly less efficient than the estimator. In this research, we suggested an estimator for the population mean of the studied variable based on a sine type median. Using Taylor series expansion, the bias and mean square error of the estimator were obtained up to the first order of approximation. The condition under which the proposed estimator is more efficient than the existing estimators was established. An empirical investigation was done to compare the suggested estimator's efficiency to that of the existing estimators, and the numerical findings showed that the proposed estimator is more efficient.","PeriodicalId":299805,"journal":{"name":"Oriental Journal of Physical Sciences","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132730603","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we use the concept of power transformation to modify some existing estimators in order to obtain estimators that are applicable when there is positive or negative correlation between the study and auxiliary variable. The properties (Biases and MSEs) of the proposed estimators were derived up to the first order of approximation using Taylor series approach. The efficiency comparison of the proposed estimators over some existing estimators considered in the study were established. The empirical studies were conducted using existing population parameters to investigate the proficiency of the proposed estimators over some existing estimators. The results revealed that the proposed estimators have minimum Mean Square Errors and higher Percentage Relative Efficiencies than the conventional and other competing estimators in the study. These implies that the proposed estimators are more efficient and can produce better estimates of the population mean compared to the existing estimators considered in the study.","PeriodicalId":299805,"journal":{"name":"Oriental Journal of Physical Sciences","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127844309","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Theoretical derivations of experimental observable measurable parameters having scalar quantum gauge field as function in terms of Laplacian, Fourier, and the Legendre transform gaging the spin, rotation, revolution, and rotational angular velocity have been shown. These transforms appear only as a function of time, and that makes the formulation independent of assumptions of invariability of fundamental universally known constants. We consider examples of universal eonic parametric observables as well. The question of whether the time is a linear operator has been answered by employing Correspondence Principle’s linear operator four-vector time matrix spatial range algorithm equivalence and is estimated to be about ¼ mile. Theoretically derived algorithm physics designs enable prototype testing by utilizing experimental instrumentations measuring observables. A flowchart has been configured simplifying theoretical to experimental mathematical physical sciences to profile signal/noise intensity and the density matrix. Gmelina sawdust biosorbent was prepared by carbonization and subsequently activated; whereas, the MOFs sorbents were prepared using slow evaporation method. These materials were characterised using FTIR. The analyses revealed principally the presence of carboxyl, carbonyl, hydroxyl, and amine functional groups in the biomaterials; then hydroxyl and carbonyl for the MOFs. There was decrement in the FTIR absorption values of hydroxyl and carbonyl of the oxalic acid as observed in the spectra of the MOFs; implying that oxalic acid bonded to the Zn and Cu ions via O-H and C=O groups in the MOFs. The trend of sorption Pb (II) by these products is: Cu-OXA MOF (57%); Zn-OXA MOF (95%); uncarbonised sawdust (97%); and carbonized sawdust (99%). The presence of different functional groups (i.e. as listed above) of the sawdust sorbents and the MOFs is the reason they performed well in terms of the Pb (II) adsorption. However, the sawdust products and Zn-OXA MOF are more effective for the lead (II) removal than the Cu-OXA MOF.","PeriodicalId":299805,"journal":{"name":"Oriental Journal of Physical Sciences","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115043893","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Pesticides used for fruit production results in increased health risks and health costs, humiliation of the environment and productivity loss. This research aimed to conduct to estimate presence of pesticide residues in summer season fruit purchase from local market. Pesticides were precisely detected in fruit samples collected from the market and the technique (GC-ECD) was used for analyzing and studying organochlorine pesticides in three fruits of the summer season, i.e., (plum, kiwi fruit and pineapple). The maximum residual limits (MRLs) values were compared with pesticide concentrations. In fruit sample, mean values of pesticide concentration residues were found. All fruits were found to be contaminated with pesticides. The concentrations of monitoring pesticides were less than the (MRL) values. However, the severe health problems may be created by the regular eating of pesticide infected fruits. It can be concluded that the periodical monitoring of fruits for pesticide residues is essential to evaluating their contamination grade and producing awareness on the health hazards involved in pesticide misuse.","PeriodicalId":299805,"journal":{"name":"Oriental Journal of Physical Sciences","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123071892","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The estimation of variability is very essential in many fields (Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and so on) to know how one quantity varies with respect to another quantity. This paper proposes arithmetic estimators of a group of ratio estimators for populations with finite variance. Using a Taylor series technique, the bias and MSE of the proposed estimators are determined up to the first order of approximation together with the efficiency conditions over existing estimators. The effectiveness of the proposed estimators in comparison to the current estimators is evaluated using a real-world data set. The empirical findings demonstrate that the suggested estimators outperform the current estimators taken into account in the study. Hence, these suggested estimators are recommended for use in real life scenario.","PeriodicalId":299805,"journal":{"name":"Oriental Journal of Physical Sciences","volume":"92 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115469957","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
