Livestock partner is also very concerned about the distribution and marketing of broiler chickens because the prospect of broiler chickens is still promising with the widening of the market and the magnitude of fulfilling the needs the public will broiler chickens. This study aims to analyze what strategies must be carried out by the livestock partners of livestock partners in the village of Sasa in developing their business. This research took place from September to October 2018 with the sampling method used was the purposive sample method while the analytical method used was a qualitative analysis (SWOT). Data was collected, then compared in two factors, external opportunities and threats — internal factors, strengths, and weaknesses that can affect the progress of the company. The results got in the SWOT's analysis matrix diagram, the position of livestock partner farms is in quadrant I with coordinates X (1,233) and Y (1,396) these positions depict broiler chicken farms Partner cattle are in a helpful position, and the right strategy is SO strategy (strength – opportunities).","PeriodicalId":298762,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources (FANRes 2019)","volume":"1360 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127436835","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ethnomedicine-directed bioprospecting has been used to accelerate drug discovery. Little is known about the coverage of ethnomedicinal studies in Indonesia. The quest to obtain drugs from plants also remains elusive. Nature-derived approved drugs worldwide have come mostly from drug-productive families that tend to be clustered in the phylogenetic tree, thus these families should be the basis of bioprospecting focus. We presented a review of ethnomedicinal research conducted across Indonesia and recommend strategic approaches to accelerate the translation of traditional knowledge into the clinic. We identified several plant species commonly used with similar or different purposes within different places, empirical pharmacological studies, regions that are understudied, and comparison with plants whose metabolites have been used for the development of approved medicine worldwide. Combination of ethnomedicinal knowledge with molecular phylogenetics, -omics, Bioactivity-guided bioprospecting, DNA barcoding, and Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) software will enable more efficient and environmentally friendly drug discovery process as well as commercial production. Altogether, this proposed method will be a game-changer in the exploration of the largely untapped chemical diversity of Indonesian","PeriodicalId":298762,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources (FANRes 2019)","volume":"185 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125840216","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on observations, especially in the coastal area which is one of the problems of the city of Ternate related to the inability of the Ternate area as a whole the city provides public open space, where this can be seen from the orientation of the development of the city making the coastal area a 'back' and a place to dispose of various types of waste, thus causing environmental degradation both ecologically, spatially and visually. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method, which is a stage of landscape design in the form of combining sustainable concepts to minimize the negative impact of construction on the environment.","PeriodicalId":298762,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources (FANRes 2019)","volume":"18 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131983735","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to analyze the carrying capacity of agriculture sector based on commodities’ production in Kulonprogo Regency. Those commodities come from agriculture, horticulture, plantation, livestock and aquaculture. Quantitative method was used based on supply and demand of land. The calculation was based on regulation by Ministry of Life Environment, Indonesia. Results show that the carrying capacity of agriculture sector has enough supportability for demand. The land availability is 108,019.05 ha and land requirement is 107,492, it means the carrying capacity is surplus. The demand of agriculture products in term or keeping land for human and environment come to problem if not balance. Both supply and demand must meet in the balance and support each other.","PeriodicalId":298762,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources (FANRes 2019)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124147627","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The use of chemical pesticides has failed to control the pest and hascaused an increase in environmental pollution. In order to reduce the detrimental effect of the golden snail attack on paddy growth and production, the animal was controlled by using a collection method and can potentially be used as the source of protein in the human diet due to its high nutrition content. This study aimed at examining whether nugget made from a combination of chicken meat and golden snail meat contained high protein and how the performance and taste of the meat combination was. A laboratory experiment was established in a randomized completely design with five treatments: P0(100% chicken meat); P1 75% chicken meat + 25 % golden snail meat); P2 50% chicken meat + 50% golden snail meat); P3 25% chicken meat + 75% golden snail meat); and P4(100% golden snail meat). The treatments were set up in three replications. The variables observed were protein and fat content from each treatment as well as color, taste, texture and smell of nugget made from each treatment. An analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used for determining statistical differences among the treatments. The results showed that nugget with a 100% chicken meat andwith the addition of up to 50% of golden snail meat into chicken meat treatments had a good performance in color, texture and flavor. Meanwhile, a higher content of protein was found in a nugget from the treatment with a 100% chicken meat (15.19% protein); and with the addition of 25% (15.40% protein) and 75% of golden nail meat (15.00% protein) than other treatments, respectively. In addition, the highest content of fat was found in nugget with the addition of 50% of golden snail meat treatment (1.79% fat). It is recommended to add up to 25% of golden snail meat into the chicken as it still meets the Indonesian National Standard for nugget.","PeriodicalId":298762,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources (FANRes 2019)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116273006","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
