But nearly all of this discourse has been steered by international experts and practitioners. The field lacks firsthand accounts and analysis from senior Afghan officials and military professionals. This account, which explores the Afghan government-led counterinsurgency campaign in Nangarhar province from February 2019 to July 2020, seeks to narrow that literature gap and to shed light on broader challenges and shortcomings facing the wider counterinsurgency campaign of United States intervention across Afghanistan for 20 years, which eventually ended up with recapturing of power by the Taliban in August 2021.","PeriodicalId":297054,"journal":{"name":"Emerging Economies Cases Journal","volume":"2130 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127466757","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But the dialysis process is physically painful and economically stressful, especially for poor patients. Even for the government the cost of providing dialysis services to poor patients is exorbitant. This is a case of the setting of the dialysis centres by the Andhra Pradesh Government in partnership with the private service provider on a public-private partnerships basis. There was a dilemma whether to do this project wholly through government budgets or forming a partnership with a private party to implement the project. The project emerged as a successful and imitable example of a public–private partnership for the rest of the country and other developing countries. Apart from being a financially sound and bankable project, efficient project management, efficient contract and risk management, vigilant monitoring by the government, sound payment mechanism and mutually beneficial partnership are the driving factors for the success of this pioneering healthcare PPP project in India.","PeriodicalId":297054,"journal":{"name":"Emerging Economies Cases Journal","volume":"118 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128117204","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The major challenge was to come up with a unique selling proposition for a destination that lacked the allure of popular tourist hotspots like Goa and Kerala in India. Madhya Pradesh Tourism faced the obstacle of not having a distinctive feature. This case study demonstrates how Madhya Pradesh Tourism successfully positioned itself as a family entertainment as a proposition to boost tourism. It serves as an excellent example for analysing the development process of a state’s tourism campaign and highlights the hurdles of strategic communication in different stages of the campaign. Additionally, it offers a reference point and context for communication objectives in a competitive tourism industry.","PeriodicalId":297054,"journal":{"name":"Emerging Economies Cases Journal","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121940958","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this case, the leadership characteristics exhibited by Sivagami are discussed, followed by an understanding of the specific aspects of women’s leadership behaviors. Sivagami’s practice of leadership styles had positive impact on the followers of the Mahishmati kingdom. Through her increased support and leadership capabilities, she shouldered the guardian role for the throne and saved Mahishmati from traitors. She made strategic decisions at various stages and rose to power and respect, excellence, and admiration as the Rajamatha of the kingdom. The case configures some relevant occurrences from the movie series to bring out the nuances to understand the requisite skills and traits for women leadership.","PeriodicalId":297054,"journal":{"name":"Emerging Economies Cases Journal","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124883648","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
