La mayoria de las calizas estan compuestas de aragonita, aunque tanto calcita, como portlandita tambien se encuentran presentes en diferentes areas de Europa. Su coloracion mas comun es amarilla, blanca o marron transparente. Las rocas en disolucion ricas en calcio, favorece la deposicion de caliza, produciendose importantes cambios digeneticos. En esta ponencia se discutiran como la exposicion a la humedad afecta a las calizas. Elementos tales como calcio, oxigeno, hidrogeno y carbono han sido identificados mediante analisis de difraccion de rayos-x. Las calizas, en forma de carbonato de calcio e hidroxido de calcio, se someten a un tratamiento termico y se analizan su rango de descomposicion. Se calcula el porcentaje de perdida de peso con respecto a la temperatura. Los resultados pueden ser utilizados por disenadores de nuevos materiales y ayudar a desarrollar nuevos productos basados en calcita y con mejores propiedades tecnicas. Abstract North Spain contains a wide range of morphological and varieties of natural color limestones. Most of the limestones are composed of aragonite, but calcite and portlandite are also found in different areas of Europe. Their most common color is attractive transparent yellow, white and brown. Calcium rich dissolution rocks favors limestone deposition and produce important digenetic changes. In this paper we will discuss how digenesis modifies properties by exposing it in moisture. The elements such as calcium, oxygen, hydrogen and carbon were identified in power x-ray diffraction studies. The limestone known as calcium carbonate and calcium hydroxide is subjected to heat treatment and its decomposition range is analyzed. Se ha realizado una comparativa entre 4 metodos de dimensionado de bufers, empleando dos tipos de estimaciones de la duracion de las tareas. Se ha determinado la probabilidad de cumplimiento de la fecha de finalizacion del proyecto obtenida con cada metodo a traves de una simulacion Monte Carlo. Tomando como criterio la probabilidad de cumplimiento, se ha demostrado que la duracion media de las actividades tiene mayor efecto que un procedimiento especifico de dimensionado del bufer. Aunque cada metodo de dimensionado genera una planificacion diferente, el tamano del bufer siempre aumenta la confiabilidad de la fecha de finalizacion del proyecto. Abstract Critical Chain Method application in Project Management generates open discussions about which buffer’s sizing procedure should be used and what tasks duration should be considered in the realization of the timeline. A comparison has been carried out between 4 buffers' sizing methods, using two types of estimates for tasks duration. By means of a Monte Carlo simulation, each probability of project deadline compliance has been determined. Taking the probability of compliance as a criterion, it has been found that the use of average tasks durations has a greater effect than a specific sizing buffer's method. Su aplicacion ha sido prevista para la ciudad de Guayaquil pero con potencial para ser replicada a nivel de la costa ecuatoriana con el objetivo de disminuir el deficit habitacional actual en el pais. El resultado es un sistema prefabricado modular a base de una tipologia de panel machihembra-do de 4cm de espesor, que combina las propiedades de la Guadua angustifolia kunth empleada como esterilla, con el mortero con Ceniza de Cascara de Arroz reforzado con una malla electrosoldada de acero de 5.5 mm y 20 cm de separacion. El mortero ha sido microvibrado en una mesa equipada con un motor de 3500 RPM y contrapeso excentrico de 30 gr con el objetivo de mejorar la adherencia del mortero a la esterilla y evitar fisuras. Abstract This study shows an alternative constructive system for Social Interaction Housing (VIS). Its application has been planned for the city of Guayaquil but with the potential to be replicated at the level of the Ecuadorian coast with the aim of reducing the current housing deficit in the country. The result is a modular prefabricated system based on a 4 cm thick tongue-and-groove type panel, which combines the properties of the Guadua angustifolia kunth used as a mat, with the mortar with Ash of Rice Shell reinforced with an electrowelded mesh of 5.5 mm steel and 20 cm separation. Desde el 26 de agosto hasta el 6 de septiembre de 2017, un grupo de 10 estudiantes del Instituto “Domoterra” de la construccion Earthbag, en la provincia de Teruel, comunidad autonoma de Aragon (Espana), participo en la construccion de lo que se convertiria en un Refugio abovedado de superadobe de 4 m de diametro interno, aproximadamente 3,5 m de altura con capacidad para albergar 17,5 m2 de superficie habitable, utilizando aproximadamente 250 m de sacos de polipropileno y 20 m³ de tierra. La estructura avanzo desde un cilindro con una base inicial de 0,5 m hasta una altura de 2,1 m en 7 dias de trabajo efectivos de 8 horas cada dia, y esta experiencia junto con la literatura existente, se ha tomado en cuenta para describir el proceso de construccion de una cupula de Superadobe. Abstract Superadobe Technology consists on filling long polypropylene sacks with a moist mixture of clay, sand, gravel and lime/cement; placing and compacting one on top of another forming concentric rings of decreasing radius and describing a double curvature monolith. From the 26th of August till the 6th of September of 2017, a group of 10 students at the “Domoterra” Institute of Earthbag construction, in the province of Teruel, autonomous community of Aragon, Spain, participated in the construction of what would become a Superadobe domed shelter of internal diameter 4m, roughly 3.5m high with the capacity to enclose 17.5 m2 of habitable surface, using approximately 250 m of polypropylene sack and 20 m³ of earth. La discusion estriba en la dicotomia entre Patrimonio Activado (Asset) y Patrimonio Museizado, entrando en las consideraciones pertinentes sobre la reutilizacion del patrimonio arquitectonico y su rentabilidad social y economica, frente a la situacion de obsolescencia y consiguiente deterioro (“Edificios Muertos”). El texto pretende anadir un enfoque adicional, para avanzar en las buenas practicas a llevar a cabo en relacion con la conservacion del patrimonio, que ocupara un papel relevante en los proximos anos. Abstract This article analyses the relationship between institutional real estate investment from social welfare systems, such as pension funds, insurance companies, mutual labour unions, etc., and the regeneration and recycling of architectural heritage, endowing it with new life and utility for society at large. The debate is focused on the dichotomy between Activated Heritage (Asset) and “Museumised” Heritage, and delves into architectural heritage reuse and its social and economic profitability, contrasting with the situation of obsolescence and its resulting deterioration (“Dead Buildings”). Para ello, primero, caracterizamos los materiales de variables, arido y cascara de almendra. Posteriormente, fabricamos las probetas de hormigon con distintas sustituciones (10%, 20% y 30%) de cascara de almendra sobre la fraccion gruesa del arido y procedemos a la realizacion de los ensayos marcados por las normas UNE, evaluando su comportamiento a compresion, traccion, flexion, penetracion de agua, absorcion de agua, hielo y deshielo y termico. Abstract The present work seeks to know the possible use of organic waste, as is the almond shell, as a substitution of a part of the granulometric fraction of coarse aggregate for the manufacture of conventional concretes. For this, first, we characterize the materials of variables, arid and almond shell. Su presencia se tiene en cuenta tanto desde la produccion industrial, como desde la ensenanza de la Arquitectura, pero casi siempre desde distintos puntos de vista e intereses. La industria suele valorar solo el factor economico en todo lo que produce sin atender completamente a otros requerimientos como la calidad espacial o el aspecto simbolico, etc. Y la Universidad plantea tanteos y experimentos creativos que, sin dejar de tener su interes, se alejan de unos procedimientos y metodologias capaces de ser asimilados por la mayoria (como si de hallazgos continuos se tratasen). El presente articulo trata de poner de acuerdo ambos campos atendiendo a un analisis y clasificacion de casos de agrupacion-composicion de componentes-3D (aparejos-3D), de manera que una posible nomenclatura, y un reconocimiento de lo mas utilizado, sirva para poner en comun una tecnologia que deberia llegar a ser convencional, y ofrecer buenos resultados de Arquitectura siguiendo estas pautas automaticas. Abstract The use of 3D-components for industrialized construction has been steadily and gradually increasing during the last 20 years. It is present both in the industrialized production and the Architectural education, but almost always from different points of views and interests. From one hand, the industry values the economic factor in everything it produces without get to attend all spatial or symbolic values fully. And from the other hand, Universities’ projects often management exercises and experiments looking for a creative solution that are far away from procedures and methodologies be able assimilated for everybody (standard for industry). The present article tries to reunite both worlds (industrial and academic) from an analysis and classification of bonding cases. El conocimiento de las tipologias estructurales de entramados de madera en las cubiertas era imprescindible para los arquitectos o maestros dedicados a las ciclicas reconstrucciones de las antiguas edificaciones que eran necesarias tras los numerosos incendios, las patologias de origen biotico o las humedades que provocaban la superacion de la vida util. Este articulo describe la reestructuracion de parte de la cubierta primitiva de la nave principal de la Iglesia de Santiago de Jumilla (Murcia), realizada en 1989 por el arquitecto Salvador Moreno Perez. El analisis de su pre-existente sistema estructural y el diagnostico referido a la inestabilidad de sus bovedas de cruceria suscito la intervencion integral en la cubierta de par-hilera de madera mas antigua, cuyo diseno, dimensionado y ejecucion, se detalla. Abstract In the field of rehabilitation, it is called restructuring to the action of equipping an existing building of a new structure. The knowledge of the typologies of the structural systems of timber framing in the roofs of the old buildings was essential for the architects dedicated to the cyclical reconstructions necessary after the numerous fires, the pathologies of biotic origin or the humidity that caused the overcoming of the useful life. This article describes the restructuring’s process of the primitive main nave’s cover of Santiago de Jumilla’s church (Murcia), realized in 1989 by the architect Salvador Moreno Perez. Se observo que la cara externa de la cana de bambu presenta mayor resistencia a flexion que la cara interna, obteniendo un radio de curvatura menor con las probetas de la cara externa del bambu ensayado. El radio de curvatura minimo que se obtuvo en los ensayos fue de 191o correspondiente al corte de 1/8 de de bambu que presentaba una parte de la cara externa y otra de la cara interna, equilibrando su constitucion anatomica. Las condiciones fisico - anatomicas de las plantas, tanto su composicion como la ley intrinseca que establece su disposicion, determinan su comportamiento mecanico. Abstract In order to determine the relationship between the permissible cuts of a bamboo cane that are associated with a certain anatomical part of the plant and the mechanical bending behaviour that is evidenced by the permissible radius of curvature, experimental tests were carried out with 5 longitudinal cuts of 1.25 m length of bamboo of the species Phyllostachys bambusoidesSieb. et Zucc., two years old. It was observed that the outer face of the bamboo cane presents greater resistance to bending than the inner face, obtaining a smaller radius of curvature with the specimens of the outer face of the bamboo tested. The minimum radius of curvature obtained in the tests was 191o corresponding to the cut of 1/8th of bamboo that presented a part of the external face and another of the internal face, balancing its anatomical constitution. Uno de los elementos mas influyentes en la capacidad de ahorro energetico en un edificio es su envolvente. Reducir las perdidas de energia del interior de una vivienda a traves de la mejora de las caracteristicas de la fachada es una actuacion que mejora notablemente los edificios, tanto energetica como esteticamente. En el presente trabajo se analiza el comportamiento termico de la fachada de un edificio tipico de los anos 50 que ha sido rehabilitado con un sistema de aislamiento termico por el exterior (SATE). El estudio se lleva a cabo a traves de la monitorizacion de un edificio situado al sur de Madrid, concretamente en dos viviendas, una en estado original y otra ya rehabilitada. La monitorizacion se realiza en el mismo periodo de tiempo y teniendo en cuenta la similitud de las caracteristicas constructivas de las dos viviendas estudiadas. A traves de los datos obtenidos se compara la evolucion de las temperaturas superficiales en los dos casos y en sus dos orientaciones, norte y sur. Se pretende conocer las mejoras en el comportamiento termico y la influencia del sistema SATE en esta rehabilitacion. Abstract Actions for the existing buildings rehabilitation are a key point in the reduction of energy demand; main objective of the current regulations relating to energy efficiency. One of the most influential elements of energy saving capacity in buildings is its envelope. Reduce energy losses of the interior of a house through the improvement of the characteristics of the facade is a performance that significantly improves the buildings, both energy and aesthetically. In the present work the thermal behaviour of the facade of a typical building of the 50s that has been rehabilitated with an external thermal insulation system (ETICS), is analysed. The study was performed through the monitoring of a building located in the south of Madrid, specifically in two houses, one in its original state and another one already rehabilitated. The monitoring was carried out in the same period of time and taking into account the similarity of the constructive characteristics of the two houses studied. Through the data obtained, the evolution of surface temperatures is compared in both cases and in its two orientations, north and south.
