Masalah ini telah merembes pada program-program pembangunan di tingkat desa (lokal). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hambatan sosio-politik dalam pembangunan desa religius di desa Lumban Dolok. Peneliti menggunakan metode field research dan memakai teknik observasi dan wawancara dalam mengumpulkan data penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa faktor sosial dan politik memiliki ikatan yang kuat dalam menghalangi pelaksanaan program desa Kampung Al-Quran di Desa Lumban Dolok Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Sebagai solusi dalam menyelesaikan hambatan tersebut, perlu dilakukan konsensus baru. Kearifan lokal seperti surat tumbaga holing sebagai alat untuk pemersatuan masyarakat. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif berbasis studi kasus, dengan berfokus pada kasus yang terjadi di Yayasan Global Wakaf ACT. Penelitian ini berfokus pada dua  pertanyaan, yaitu: (1) Bagaimana model pengembangan wakaf produktif berbadan hukum?; (2) Seberapa besar dampak pengembangan wakaf produktif berbadan hukum? It had been mandated by constitution, but the fact, in marginal society there are many orphans and poor people drop out from their school and be streets as their home. Muhammadiyah is a social-religious organization. It starts and plays an active role in the empowering of people and the nation, especially Islamic education for the poor people. By the principle of humanist-religious dakwah, Muhammadiyah develops many charitable efforts, one of which was an orphanage for orphans and poor people. This research aims to get data and information about the development of Islamic education for poor people at Muhammadiyah Orphanage, Rawamangun, East Jakarta. This research is field research. The researcher collected data by observation, interviews, and documentation. Then, analyzing data by using the Miles and Huberman model. Then making a summarize of data, presents it by narrative text, and making a conclusion and verifying it. This research concluded that, Muhammadiyah Rawamangun orphanage was very serious to develop Islamic education for orphans and poor people. It developed the programs by three methods: First, to establish an Islamic culture of life for 24 hours. Second, making a program for memorizing the holy Qur’an as a branding of orphanage. Third, giving a scholarship for orphanage children to explore Al-Islam and other sciences until university. The method used in this research is to use the library research method, or what is called literature study is a method that the author uses to explore various library materials that have to do with the subject of study in writing this thesis.From the results of this study, it was concluded that the main research findings of Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed stated in the Muhammadiyah Christian Book there were several points of thought that Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed. present among others that Muhammadiyah is present as a movement that welcomes religious plurality, in the opinion of Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed Muhammadiyah, despite its pure and modernist Islamic status, is able to answer the challenges of the times even in areas where the majority are non-Muslims. According to Prof.Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed Muhammadiyah accepted social institutions from the West and adopted the Western education system. If this attitude continues to be carried out, it will strengthen optimism about the future of religious pluralism in Indonesia and focus on being a central role in building a strong national character, open to differences, and strong Indonesian integrity as well as educational progress, especially in Muhammadiyah educational institutions. Exploring social values based on Sharia principles is needed to make the operational basis for Islamic microfinance institutions more measurable, both in financial performance and social performance.There are three principles in evaluating the performance of Islamic microfinance institutions, namely (1) the principle of fairness, (2) the principle of honesty, and (3) the principle of partnership. The new habit pattern demands a change in the system and framework that has become the standard of work since the previous management periods. However, the adaptation of an organization, especially a student body, to the demands of new habit patterns is not an easy thing. The subgroup of Group 11 KKN UMJ 2021 took the initiative to provide education one method of discussion that is relevant to the characteristics of upper-middle-level students, namely discussion workshops. This program will be run through a technology-based community development approach, with direct practice methods through an online system. Through this community development approach, the program will be run in a participatory manner by proactively involving partners in every work agenda. One of the characteristics of digital society is that it is diverse, free, and tends not to be tied down. Therefore, the preaching of tolerance in digital spaces such as YouTube is something that is very important and necessary. Da'wah of tolerance is understood as an effort to invite or call someone to the path of God with approaches that do not offend the interlocutor, do not discriminate against different groups, respect, and prioritize tenderness and compassion. One of the figures who are quite intense in voicing the values of tolerance through YouTube are Gita Savitri and Habib Husen Ja'far through the YouTube channels Gita Savitri and Jeda Nulis. The results of this study indicate that the preaching of tolerance is formed through open-minded, moderate, understanding that da'I is only a messenger, expanding knowledge and opening up space for dialogue with religions outside of Islam.
