This undergraduate thesis is a critical discourse dissection with the lyrics of “Kafir” written by Jason Ranti as its object. In this critical discourse analysis, the lyrics of “Kafir” is analyzed to unveil the form of violence in the social life. The form of violence can be symbolically or not and even both of them. In the lyrics of “Kafir” there is a discourse analysis that wants to develop the knowledge and in opposition with the form of power that dominant. The problem in the lyrics of “Kafir” is not value-free because it is link with a social problem that occurs in the society and in the interfaith people. Through critical discourse analysis with the lyrics of “Kafir” written by Jason Ranti, raise a knowledge of the symbolic dominance and unsymbolic dominance that people of minority experience with, and emerge critical consciousness with unveil the forms of power and the power relations itself: domination, oppression, and discrimination from the people of majority. This research has a purpose to expose the critical discourse within the lyrics of “Kafir” as a form against power relations and domination by showing that there is a form of violence in the name of faith or religion which people will allow themselves to do everything in the name of religion, in which raise a problem when the religion become a tool to dominate and oppress minority people. \u0000Abstrak. Skripsi ini merupakan pembedahan secara kritis dengan lirik lagu “Kafir” yang ditulis oleh Jason Ranti sebagai objeknya. Dalam analisis wacana kritis ini, lirik lagu “Kafir” dianalisis untuk menyingkap bentuk kekerasan dalam kehidupan sosial, ketidakberesan yang ada dalam tatanan sosial. Bentuk kekerasan tersebut bisa berupa simbolis atau kelihatan jelas bahkan keduanya. Dalam lirik lagu “Kafir” terdapat aktivitas wacana yang ingin menghasilkan pengetahuan untuk melawan bentuk kuasa yang dominan. Persoalan dalam lirik lagu “Kafir” tidak bebas nilai karenanya berkelindan dengan ketidakberesan sosial yang terjadi dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat dan berkehidupan antar umat beragama. Melalui analisis wacana kritis dalam lirik lagu “Kafir” muncul pengetahuan mengenai dominasi simbolis dan tak simbolis yang dirasakan juga dialami oleh orang-orang yang minoritas, dan menumbuhkan kesadaran kritis dengan menyingkap bentuk-bentuk kuasa: dominasi, penindasan, diskriminasi yang dilakukan oleh orang-orang yang mayoritas. As for the anxiety of students because lecturers give more assignments to replace activities that are usually carried out on campus. One way to carry out learning between students and lecturers is to change the learning system by using an online or online learning system. This research is motivated by the massive coverage of the corona virus in online media, almost all online mass media make health issues related to the corona virus the prima donna of news. However, in practice many mass media are the principles of truth in journalism and prioritize speed in delivering news. Kompas.com is one of the online media that intensively spreads information related to the corona virus. From some of the news that he published, it was necessary to question his responsibility and the principles of truth he applied. According to Bill Kovach truth in journalism is absolute truth, but functional truth. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out about the principle of truth in the corona virus news text in the online media Kompas.com. Also to find out the principle of truth in the practice of discourse in reporting the corona virus in the online media Kompas.com. Finally, to find out socio-cultural practices in reporting the corona virus on Kompas.com online media. The methodology used is qualitative with Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis approach. The results of this study show; (1) Kompas Online presents the truth that is not deep enough and positions itself as a transmitter and receiver of information. (2) The discourse of truth that is displayed does not represent the vision of Kompas Online with the lack of balance in the news and the tendency for speed. (3) The factors of the pandemic situation and the information needs that pushed Kompas Online to become one of the factors in the news about the current corona virus, on the other hand the culture of conformity of the Indonesian people also influenced Kompas Online in its reporting so that the discourse presented to the public seemed short and lacked depth. \u0000Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masifnya pemberitaan virus corona di media online, hampir seluruh media massa online menjadikan isu kesehatan terkait virus corona menjadi primadona pemberitaannya. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya banyak media massa yang kerap mengabaikan prinsip kebenaran dalam jurnalisme dan mengutamakan kecepatan dalam menyampaikan berita. Kompas.com merupakan salah satu media online yang secara intens mengbarkan informasi terkait virus corona. Dari beberapa pemberitaan yang dimuatnya, perlu dipertanyakan kredibilitas serta prinsip kebenaran yang diterapkannya. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of changing the law which is currently known as the Omnibus Law. The plan drawn up by the President of Indonesia has drawn many differences of opinion in various levels of society. The law, which is widely known as the universal sweeping law, was successfully ratified through the work copyright law, this was also widely reported by one of the mass media which became a means for the public to consume information, namely, published in the 7th edition of Kompas.com news. October 2020 which explains the series of processes for the ratification of the Omnibus Law. The news describes that the government is still designing and continuing to the stage of ratification regardless of the demands for rejection of articles from the workers who are felt to be able to cut workers' rights. So that this impact gave birth to a public response, especially among students who closely became representatives of the wider community of intellectuals in voicing policies that they felt were not in accordance with the needs of the community. This study aims to determine the reception and hypothetical position of readers regarding Omnibus Law news in online media. The methodology used in this study is qualitative with a Stuart Hall reception analysis approach. The results of this study indicate that news about omnibus law in the online media Kompas.com contains news elements that are informative and provide education according to all informants. Their positions in receiving messages were also different, the eight informants received the message in full, and only one person received the message based on the results of their thinking. \u0000Abstrak. Penelitian ini di latar belakangi dengan adanya fenomena perubahan undang – undang yang saat ini dikenal dengan Omnibus Law. The Indonesian government announced that the Covid-19 disease was present in the midst of people's lives on March 2, 2020. Starting from this case, the number of people exposed to the Covid-19 disease continued to increase, the government took a policy to organize mass vaccinations. Vaccination activities are carried out as one of the efforts made by the government to create immunity formation specifically for Covid-19 disease and also as an effort to avoid transmission. This study aims to find out the relationship between the news of the Covid-19 vaccine on Kompas.com and the interest in vaccination of Fikom Unisba students. The method used in this study is a quantitative method using correlational analysis techniques. This study uses the Uses and Effect theory proposed by Sven Wandahl which has the aim of knowing the relationship between variables. In this study, using purposive sampling data collection techniques and using the Slovin formula to determine the number of respondents. The results of the hypothesis test are that there is a very strong and unidirectional relationship between the news of the Covid-19 vaccine and the interest in vaccination of students. With a significance of 0.000 <0.05 and a coefficient of 0.712. \u0000Abstrak. Pemerintah indonesia mengumumkan bahwa penyakit Covid-19 hadir di tengah kehidupan masyarakat pada 2 Maret 2020. Dimulai dari kasus tersebut, jumlah orang yang terpapar penyakit Covid-19 terus meningkat, pemerintah mengambil kebijakan untuk menyelenggarakan vaksinasi masal. Kegiatan vaksinasi dilaksanakan sebagai salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah guna untuk menciptakan pembentukan kekebalan tubuh dengan spesifik pada penyakit Covid-19 dan juga sebagai suatu upaya untuk menghindari penularan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu hubungan antara pemberitaan vaksin Covid-19 pada Kompas.com dengan minat vaksinasi mahasiswa Fikom Unisba. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis korelasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Uses and Effect yang dikemukakan oleh Sven Wandahl yang memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan anatar variabel. This study is conducted through the quantitative content analysis by understanding the application of nine journalistic elements in the elements proportional, and comprehensive, based on objectivity model of McQuail and Westershahl. This research is performed in Tempo Media for a specific case of “Ada Apa dengan Pizza?” and “Siasat di Balik Suap Reklamasi”. Based on this method, the problem in this research is formulated as follow, (1) how  application of the nine of element of journalist in impartialityaspect.. This study used a coding sheet with three coder, use IRC and interview to developed the result. The result shows that Tempo Media has implement elemen proportional, and comprehensive on category (1) even handed evalution proven that journalist in writing result of investigate should examined by another three editor (Tempo.co, Tempo Newspaper, and Tempo magazine), (2) equal access proven that they insert two witness to comply proporsional element, (3) Non sensational proven by Tempo media put forward magnitude value, not sensational and novelty, (4) and non evalution proven that Tempo probihited any journalist to write investigate reporting by their opinion. \u0000Abstrak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teori Sembilan elemen jurnalistik, focus pada elemen proporsional dan komprehensif, berdasarkan model McQuail dan Westerstahl. Penelitian ini  meneliti media Tempo dengan kasus yang yang spesifik yaitu  “Ada Apa dengan Pizza?” dan “Siasat di Balik Suap Reklamasi”, berdasarkan metode, pertanyaan penelitian ini dibuat sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimana penerapan Sembilan elemen jurnalistik dari aspek impartialitas. penerapan dengan menggunakan lembar koding, menggunakan IRC dan wawancara . The study of impression management is one of the interesting topics of communication studies. This is because impression management is such a dynamic behavior. This is seen from the change in behavior which was initially considered normal to be different in general. This research is a study of impression management with the dramaturgy approach. The use of dramaturgy aims to find out the impression management performed by the black metal band guitarist Warkvlt. This research is a study of impression management with dramaturgy theory. The use of dramaturhi theory aims to find out both sides of life owned by black metal band guitarist Warkvlt (Warkult). This study uses qualitative methods. The subjects of this study were Supriyanto as key informants, and four other people who were close to the life of the front stage and back stage from Supriyanto as supporting informants. Data obtained by observation, documentation and in-depth interviews. The results showed that Supriyanto had a personality that was made different from real life to support his appearance on stage. This shows that the research subjects have the power to make different personifications to show their fans. In this study researchers used data from five informants namely Supriyanto, Susan, Sigit, Glen and Alfi. Researchers obtained data from key informants from Supriyanto and his wife and bandmates which were used as supporting data, as well as from one of his fans to get data from outside the environment of the subject of study. Researchers limit the scope of the front stage of the life of the black metal band guitarist Warkvlt when performing on stage to interact directly with the audience. This refers to the statement of Erving Goffman stated in the book Psychology of Communication by Jalaluddin Rakhmat which states that a person's front stage is where an individual is in a condition or environment where there are other individuals who observe and judge. The backstage of a black metal guitarist is filled with people who have even more emotional closeness like family members. Or in other words the researchers limit it to situations and conditions where the attributes as a black metal guitarist are released or deliberately abandoned by him. There is a clear difference between the front stage and the back stage of the black metal band guitarist Warkvlt, which can be seen in terms of appearance and a more open attitude. Appearance on the back stage as it is like real identity and a more open attitude to the surrounding environment. \u0000Abstrak.
