Media membantu menjembatani penegakan hukum yang dilakukan aparat kepada oknum yang membakar hutan, agar dapat menghasilkan solusi dan mengurangi kebakaran hutan di masa depan khususnya di Indonesia. Media menjembatani kebutuhan berbagai pihak yang ingin mengetahui segala rincian kejadian yang terjadi dalam peristiwa kebakaran hutan dengan laporan yang bertanggung jawab, memiliki visi, dan bisa dijadikan dokumentatif bagi peristiwa kebakaran hutan di Indonesia. Media dapat menginisiasi tindakan advokasi kebakaran hutan. Media mendorong advokasi yang menyeluruh terhadap peristiwa kebakaran hutan. Media membangun kesadaran, pemahaman, dan pengetahuan masyarakat dalam pemerintah atas penegakan hukum pembakaran hutan yang terjadi di wilayah Kalimantan Barat, diperhatikan melalui tindakan dan sikap penanganan yang baik dan benar.Mengenai pemberitaan dari media Tribun Pontianak yang menerbitkan tulisan yang begitu menarik untuk diteliti karena menyangkut dengan kebakaran lahan dan hutan di Kalimantan Barat itu sendiri, peneliti mencoba untuk menggali informasi dengan cara menginvestigasi berita yang terbit di media cetak Tribun Pontianak. Television has become the most influential mass media in Indonesia because of its ability to reach large numbers of audiences and deliver messages simultaneously. Through the mass media, they persuade through political messages conveyed to the public. For the public the media not only functions as an ordinary source of information, but also in the context of political momentum, both related to practical politics and those that are discourse or enlightenment, can be a reference for information. So researchers are interested in knowing whether the television mass media with the news is still biased to form the perception of the viewer. The research examines the relationship between government reporting on television, the Transmedia CNN Indonesia Bureau of West Java. The method used by researchers is quantitative research methods, with a correlational study approach. The researcher has the aim to find out whether there is a relationship between the reporting of the Transmedia CNN Indonesia Bureau of West Java related to infrastructure on student political perceptions, in the middle of the internet era. From the results of the study, there is a relationship between government reporting with indicators of prominence, and presenting news with political perceptions, with indicators of formation of perception, memory, and knowledge of politics. With agenda setting theory, and cultivation theory for perception, there is a relationship between government reporting on infrastructure, and the political perception of Pasundan University HI Department 2016 students. \u0000Abstrak. Televisi telah menjadi media massa yang paling berpengaruh besar di Indonesia karena kemampuannya menjangkau khalayak dalam jumlah yang banyak dan menyampaikan pesan secara serentak. Melalui media massa, mereka melakukan persuasi lewat pesan-pesan politik yang disampaikan kepada publik. Bagi publik media tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sumber informasi biasa, tetapi juga dalam konteks momentum politik, baik terkait dengan politik praktis maupun yang bersifat wacana atau pencerahan, dapat menjadi rujukan informasi. Maka peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui apakah media massa televisi dengan pemberitaanya masih bias membentuk persepsi yang menontonnya. Penelitian meneliti mengenai hubungan pemberitaan pemerintahan di dalam televisi yaitu Transmedia CNN Indonesia Biro Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan peneliti yaitu metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan pendekatan studi korelasional. Peneliti memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara pemberitaan Transmedia CNN Indonesia Biro Jawa Barat  terkait infrastruktur terhadap persepsi politik mahasiswa, ditengah era internet. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, terdapat hubungan antara pemeberitaan pemerintahan dengan indikator penonjolan, dan penyajian berita dengan persepsi politi, dengan indikator pembentukan persepsi, daya ingat, dan pengetahuan tentang politik. In investigative journalism work, there are three general forms of investigative methods, namely, related to the work of investigating documents, as well as investigations of individual subjects related to the problem. This general form of investigative reportage is termed a paper trail, people trail, and money trail. Tempo Magazine is a media that is considered to have competence and credibility for investigative coverage. Tempo magazine is a pioneer of investigative journalism in the period after 1990. In addition, the internet media has opened up information expansion based on a multidimensional \"network\". A number of platforms on the internet have emerged that can attract people's attention. Like it or not, the print media must also adapt their work to the needs of the public. In the end, the print media also experienced convergence. In the world of journalism, online journalism was born. This study aims to determine why and how investigative data search patterns in online media. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. In this case the researcher tried to find out the pattern of investigative data collection in the online media through investigative news entitled \"Pesta Terakhir Aktivis Ambon\" conducted by Tempo.co and investigative news entitled \"Emas Hitam Mahakam dalam Bidikan KPK\" conducted by Katadata.co.id . The result of this research is that investigative journalism work in online media is basically the same as investigative journalism work in print media. The only difference is that there are more readers in online media. Especially in reporting done on online media, the writer can add digital content that can help explain this information. \u0000Abstrak. Dalam kerja jurnalisme investigasi, terdapat tiga bentuk umum metode investigasi yaitu, terkait dengan pekerjaan menginvestigasi dokumen-dokumen, serta penyelidikan terhadap subjek-subjek individu yang terkait dengan permasalahan. Bentuk bidang umum reportase investigasi ini diistilahkan dengan paper trail, people trail, dan money trail. Majalah Tempo menjadi media yang dinilai memiliki kompetensi dan kredibilitas untuk peliputan investigatif. Majalah Tempo merupakan pelopor jurnalisme investigatif di masa setelah 1990. Disamping itu media internet membuka perluasan informasi berdasarkan “jaringan” yang multidimensi. Sejumlah platform di internet muncul yang dapat menarik perhatian masyarakat. Mau tidak mau media cetak juga harus menyesuaikan pengerjaannya dengan kebutuhan publik. Pada akhirnya media cetak pun mengalami konvergensi. Dalam dunia jurnalistik maka lahirlah Jurnalisme Online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengapa dan bagaimana pola pencarian data investigasi di Media Online. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus.
