We use a color reduction approach where the dominant color database is obtained from the analysis of the entire Berkeley natural image database. After experiments using single color components and all their possible combinations as the segmentation basis, we have found that ab is the best color component combination for the segmentation task. F measures and Precision Recall graphs are used as the evidence for this conclusion.","PeriodicalId":292855,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Electrical, Communications, and Computers","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123461170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this article we propose to have offices with a high performance in handle issues. To make an efficient infrastructure of process in offices, we need to optimize the handling of issues. Bosses could handle different issues at the same time. The handling of issues gives the boss the possibility to increase his performance. The boss would attend his different tasks by a software program in intranet, and the secretary would chat with her boss to solve issues. This process was implemented in Java and was tested in a small school office.","PeriodicalId":292855,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Electrical, Communications, and Computers","volume":"114 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117075913","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It utilizes two on-chip differential inductors instead of four on-chip single-ended inductors in traditional designs, resulting in significantly reduced die area. Furthermore, two noise reduction techniques, i.e. capacitive cross-coupling and MOSFET channel length optimization, are discussed. A prototype was fabricated in a 0.18μm RF CMOS process, and was packaged for testing. This technique makes use of cellular traffic measurements to determine actual traffic on a per-existing-cell basis; these measurements are then used with characteristic mobility models of the population of the building in consideration, to produce traffic maps, which provide valuable information as how this traffic is distributed across the building. This strongly augments the ability of a cellular network to minimize blocking for 2G, and to reduce unexpected noise rise effects and a much better allocation of system resources for 3G and other wireless technologies mainly used indoors.","PeriodicalId":292855,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Electrical, Communications, and Computers","volume":"196 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115472789","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, when no information is provided about the meaning of the signal, this segmentation process becomes very difficult. Currently, most of the methods used to detect boundaries of phonemes are based in the identification of variations in distances calculated over a set of features, which are obtained from segments of the signal. Here we present a modification of a previous work, that is based on a different calculation of the distances and a modification in the selection of a boundary. The proposed modification showed to improve the correct segmentation percentage when compared with the previous work, tested in Spanish and English corpus. The improved method obtained 82.59% of correct segmentation over Spanish data, and 80.28% over English data. In addition, the proposed method obtained at average an over-segmentation of 0%.","PeriodicalId":292855,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Electrical, Communications, and Computers","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122217071","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
