Advances in the Development of a Low-Cost Surface Scanner for Gait Analysis Applications
Human gait has been one of active research topics in the computer vision community for the last years. But most vision-based gait studies focus on gait classification and recognition purposes. Our research focus on computer vision gait analysis from the medical point of view as a means to deduce physical conditions of people and aid the specialist in diagnosing and treating gait anomalies.
