However, in classes attended by a big number of mixed ability learners, these interactions can hardly as effective as is expected. Along with limited available time for studying more about the language in the classroom as Foreign Language Learning (FLL), learners rarely use the target language in their day-to-day life or interacting with a native speaker, and this lack completes its complexity. Therefore, the writer argues that integrating chatbot in the classroom as an alternative solution to cope with learners' lack of interactions using English in the classroom and real life. Descriptive method was used as the design of this research. The number of population members was 53 students. The writer used total sampling technique to select the sample. Writing test was the instrument to get the data. The students were asked to write 21 compound sentences : 7 sentences expressing contrast, 7 sentences expressing reason, and 7 sentences expressing additional idea. The test was reliable because the reliability of the test was high (0.98).The result of this research showed that generally the third year students at English Department of Bung Hatta University had problem in writing      compound sentences. They had problems in writing compound sentences expressing contrast, reason, and additional idea. Among those problems, the most problem the students face was writing compound sentences expressing reason (39.49%). In writing compound sentences expressing reason, the most problem the students face was in mechanics (41.06%), especially in punctuation (25.13%).Dealing with the conclusion, the writer suggested to the lecturers to use matching picture as the media to teach compound sentence to the students. The students are suggested to do more exercises in writing compound sentences expressing reason by using matching pictures. The descriptive method was used as the design of this research. The researcher used a total sampling technique and the sample was 29 students. The instrument for collecting the data in this research was a writing test of cause and effect. The result of the analysis showed that the test was reliable. It was supported by the fact that the coefficient correlation was 0.98. It was categorized as having a very high correlation. Then the test was valid in terms of content because it had covered the material that students had learned. Generally, all of the twelfth grade students have been able to write cause and effect sentence. 20.68% of students got good, 55.17% of students got moderate and 36.84% of students got low. In applying grammar 17.24 % of students got good, 44.82% of students got moderate, and  37.93% of students got low. In using vocabulary 17.24 % of students got good, 65.51% of students got moderate, 17.24% of students got low. The design of this research was descriptive. Theresearcher used total sampling technique and the sample was 26 students. The instrument for collecting the data in this research was translation test of scientific discourse text about Biology. To make the test reliable the researcher used inter-rater technique. The result of analysis showed that the test was reliable. It was supported by the fact that the coefficient correlation was 0.93. It was categorized as very high correlation. Then the test was valid in terms of content because it covered the material that students had learnt. The research found that generally, all of the students have been able to translate scientific discourse text. In general 61.54% students got excellent ability and 38.46 % students got good ability. In applying lexical equivalence 84.62% students got excellent ability, 15.38% got good ability. The design of this research was descriptive. The research sample members were 20 students chosen by using total sampling techniques. The data were collected through a Translation Testand analysed by using a descriptive statistics. The result of data analysis showed the students had very good ability in translating a business letter from English into Indonesian. Furtherly, it can be explained that the students had  very good ability in using lexical equivalence in translating a business letter.While, the students’ ability in using grammatical adjustment in translating a business letter was good. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that the fourth year students’ ability in translating a business letter from English into Indonesian at the  English Department of Bung Hatta University was very good. The population of this research was the second year students at English Department of Bung Hatta University with total population 104 students. The writer used cluster random sampling technique in taking the sample. The result of the data analysis showed that 24 out of 28 students had moderate ability in changing active sentences into passive ones . In detail, the findings showed that 25 out of 28 students  had moderate ability in changing the subject of active sentences into passive ones. 20 students out of 28 students had moderate ability in changing the auxiliary of active sentences into passive ones. 23 out of 28 students had moderate ability in the use of be in changing active sentences into passive ones.  26 out of 28 students had moderate ability in the use of be + ing in changing active sentences into passive ones. 22 out of 28 students had moderate ability in changing the verb of active sentences into passive ones. 27 out of 28 students had moderate abilityin the use of agent in changing active sentences into passive ones. There are 30 students chosen totally as the object of this research. Speaking test is used to know the students’ speaking performance. The result showed that the first year students’ speaking performance after learning using Google is excellent. Their performance in expressing idea (content), in pronunciation, in vocabulary is excellent. Somehow,  their performance in grammar and fluency are good (not excellent/ optimal). It is recommended  that the speaking subject lecturer give many opportunities for students to improve student’s          capability in grammar and fluency through practicing much in sentence construction and in releasing their hesitation in speaking in daily communication. They are influenced by native language frame and nervous when they are speaking. The students are suggested to keep their ability excellent in speaking skill, but they should improve their ability in the aspect of speaking such as grammar and fluency. For the next researcher is recommended to find out the causes of the students’ speaking performance in grammar and fluency is good (not excellent).\u0000 \u0000REFERENCES\u0000Afifah, Sihatul.
