Processed fish products that are in demand by the public are a promising business opportunity, this requires technology to produce good products. Products resulting from the diversification of marine processing are catches that are rarely consumed by the public, but have high nutritional content that is really needed by the community. The aim of making this product is to increase the added value of runcah fish. Trash fish is usually only used as fish meal or even in certain conditions is thrown away because it cannot be processed into a product of marketable value. The implementation of this program is divided into several activity stages, namely: The first stage is collecting aspirations, the second stage is exploring the problems that exist at the location of community service activities and the third stage is evaluating mentoring activities. The results of this activity are that the partner group has succeeded in producing the raw material for Pahat fish and has the motivation to produce processed products in the form of nuggets, meatballs and fish crackers. Nugget, somai and dragon's foot products, all of which are made from fish meat, are expected to be a breakthrough in efforts to increase the added value of products caught by fishermen. Ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan media interaktif, khususnya aplikasi Duolingo, sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kosakata siswa dalam konteks bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengadopsi strategi “single-group pre-and post-test” dalam desain pra-eksperimental, yang melibatkan 30 siswa kelas tujuh SMP Al Falah Ketintang Surabaya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa siswa yang berlatih menggunakan Duolingo meningkatkan penguasaan kosakatanya. Analisis statistik, meskipun ada beberapa distribusi yang tidak normal, tidak menunjukkan variasi yang jelas antar kelompok (eksperimental dan kontrol). Hal ini menekankan potensi Duolingo dalam mendorong pertumbuhan kosakata. Tetapi banyak mahasiswa yang tidak mengetahui batasan privasi yang harus dijaga agar terhindar dari dampak negatif penggunaan internet. Edukasi dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini menjadi penting agar mahasiswa memahami strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk menghindari ancaman keamanan siber. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di bulan Mei tahun 2023 dengan memberikan sosialisasi menggunakan metode edukasi, tanya jawab dan diskusi. Metode tersebut digunakan dalam edukasi terkait penggunaan internet dengan bijak yang berdampak terhadap peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai langkah yang harus dilakukan agar terhindar dari ancaman keamanan siber. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan, mahasiswa menjadi lebih paham mengenai pentingnya penggunaan media sosial secara bijak dalam meningkatkan citra positif pengguna dan juga negara dan menjaga privasi data. Mahasiswa mengetahui strategi menjaga privasi data. Serta, upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk pemulihan data. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian ini, mahasiswa menjadi lebih peduli dalam melindungi data pribadi dan privasi di dunia maya. One important aspect that needs to be instilled is awareness and motivation for living a healthy and economical life. It's not just about physical health, but financial health as well, which is a factor influencing future well-being. Establishing habits cannot be achieved overnight, but require continuous processes and training to shape character and habits. This activity aims to raise awareness and motivation among kindergarten students about the importance of living a healthy and economical life through fun learning, so that they are motivated to live healthily and save for the future. Methods include preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. Preparation involves initial visits and meetings with school principals. Implementation is carried out through interactive activities to help students understand the benefits of living a healthy and economical life. Evaluation is done by observing students' reactions after the activity. The results can be seen in the increased understanding of students regarding healthy and economical living. Students are able to differentiate between expensive and cheap foods, and identify healthy foods in their packed meals. The enthusiasm and active behavior of students in answering questions reflect their increased motivation. Furthermore, the series of activities and interactions conducted by students with the children are able to nurture and stimulate artistic sensibilities, creativity, thinking skills, and motor skills. This can be seen through the development and ability of students to complete each activity faster than in previous sessions. The problem in the coastal areas of Sungai Kakap subdistrict, Kubu Raya district, is the lack of availability of clean water and the absence of clean water infrastructure. Peat groundwater in coastal deltas cannot support the use of groundwater sources due to high levels of acid and organic substances. This can trigger problems of poor community sanitation and cause the community's inability to optimize the potential of villages that have abundant natural resources. This activity aims to empower and increase community participation in designing and processing brackish/salt water into drinking water using Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology to meet the need for hygienic ready-to-drink water. Small scale water treatment system design using ultrafiltration (UF) and reverse osmosis (RO) membranes. The raw water used comes from river surface water in coastal areas. The small-scale water treatment design consists of two FRP tubes containing filter media, three filter cartridges, and UF and RO membranes. Two thrust pumps, with a minimum pressure specification of 40 m, are used to provide pressure that exceeds osmosis pressure so that raw water can be filtered through the RO membrane. The results of the activity show that the implementation of the RO system has succeeded in increasing the availability of clean water in Sungai Itik Village, which previously experienced challenges in providing adequate water supply. In addition, the integration of local business startups with RO technology opens up new opportunities for local residents to participate in the local economy and increase family income. Key factors supporting the success of this economic empowerment strategy were identified, including active community involvement in planning and implementation, collaboration between local government and local stakeholders, and adoption of new technologies and skills by local communities. This activity provides an important contribution in understanding the role of clean water technology innovation as a catalyst for local economic transformation in coastal areas. The practical implications of these findings can help decision makers in designing sustainable and effective policies to improve the welfare of coastal communities through sustainable economic empowerment. Fokus utama kegiatan adalah pengembangan karakter dan penampilan diri bagi pegawai Kema Merbabu. Dalam kerangka kemitraan dengan Glamping Kema Merbabu, masalah utama terkait kurangnya pelatihan berpenampilan diri dan karakter dari Kema Merbabu sehingga para pegawai belum merasa penting untuk menjaga penampilan diri. Pegawai Kema Merbabu dalam level manajerial juga perlu pemahaman mengenai keseragaman atribut dan ciri khas yang perlu dikembangkan agar pelayanan dari Kema Merbabu dapat dikenang positif oleh wisatawan. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepemahaman pentingnya penampilan diri dalam industry jasa terutama perhotelan dan pariwisata karena akan menghasilkan kesan pertama yang baik. Metode ini melibatkan tahap perencanaan pelatihan langsung menggunakan metode ceeramah, peragaan langsung dan diskusi. Sebelum pelatihan peserta diberikan kuesioner pre test untuk menilai kepemahaman masing-masing individu mengenai topik terkait. Setelah pelatihan, peserta diberi kuesioner post test agar menilai sejauh mana kepemahaman yang didapatkan setelah mengikuti pelatihan agar mampu bersinergi dengan tujuan pengabdian yaitu meningkatkan profesionalisme pegawai Kema Merbabu sekaligus citra dan kualitas pelayanan Glamping Kema Merbabu. Kegiatan Kegiatan pengabdian diikuti 21 peserta yang terdiri atas 18 level operasional dan 3 level manajerial. Bertempat di Kema Merbabu, pengabdian berjalan dengan lancar dan efektif karena para peserta antusias saat melakukan peragaan dan terlihat dari hasil pre post test. Setelah kegiatan pengabdian dengan tema penampilan diri, diharapkan kedepannya Kema Merbabu menerapkan apa yang telah dipelajari selama pelatihan. The solution offered is to use yard land for cultivating plants. Apart from being able to be used for daily consumption, the harvest from the yard can also be sold as a side business for family members. The community service program aims to assist the target community in increasing their knowledge and skills in optimally utilizing yard land for cultivating vegetable crops. The method used is community empowerment with activities: counseling, training and participatory mentoring of target community groups. The results of the implementation of the community service program show an increase in community knowledge and skills in cultivating vegetable plants in their yards. Nowadays, MSMEs are expected to be able to make the best use of technology, one of which is the world of digital marketing. However, there are still many MSME players who do not understand and utilize digital marketing optimally. This is caused by several factors, such as limited knowledge and skills in the field of digital technology, as well as a lack of understanding of the benefits and potential that can be obtained from digital marketing. This article examines the use of counseling as a tool for community empowerment, provides recommendations and strategies for MSMEs, and becomes a reference for parties interested in developing MSMEs and using digital marketing. The survey method is a research approach that involves collecting data from a representatively selected sample of the population. The goal is to obtain general information and characteristics about the population. Data is collected and analyzed from respondent data that represents a larger population. The results of the article show that the knowledge of MSME players about digital marketing increased after the outreach activities. The application of digital marketing has had a positive impact on sales of MSME products and resulted in a significant spike in sales. Apart from that, the introduction of digital marketing for MSME products also increases MSME turnover. This has a positive impact on brand awareness and consumer trust, which will ultimately influence consumer purchasing decisions. So, digital marketing counseling is effective in empowering MSMEs and improving their business performance. This is an important reference for parties interested in developing MSMEs and utilizing digital marketing. MSMEs are the backbone of the economy, they need to take advantage of technology. The article examines extension to empower MSMEs, provides recommendations. Various efforts have been made to minimize the presence of these sources of pollution, including processing them into more useful products. Eco-enzymes are a product that can be produced from organic waste which is processed through an anaerobic fermentation process. This online community service activity packaged through a webinar aims to be a means of communication and socialization media to raise public awareness about the urgency of managing organic waste as well and provide new insights in processing organic waste into more useful products in the form of eco-enzymes. The method used was participatory through an online seminar involving 144 participants from various backgrounds of regional, scientific disciplines, professions, and social status. The results of this activity show that there is enthusiasm among the participants in discussions regarding the use and processing of organic waste into eco-enzymes. The sun emits UV rays, and prolonged exposure to these rays can lead to various health issues such as sunburn, premature aging, tanning, erythema formation, and ultimately, skin cancer. Preventing the negative effects of UV radiation is crucial, especially for children who often engage in outdoor activities. The aim of this initiative is to enhance children's awareness of the dangers of excessive UV exposure to health and educate them on preventive measures, thereby improving the overall health quality of the community, particularly among children. The method employed in this activity includes a series of events: opening, pretest to assess participants' understanding before receiving information, delivering the material to enhance participants' knowledge, discussion, posttest to evaluate participants' understanding after the material presentation, and closure. Based on the pretest-posttest results, the average pretest score was 39.09 ± 19.001, with the lowest score at 00.00 and the highest at 60.00. The average posttest score was 66.36 ± 20.83, with the lowest at 20.00 and the highest at 100.00. Statistical analysis indicates a significant improvement in the average pretest and posttest scores (p<0.05), demonstrating an increase in participants' knowledge before and after receiving the material.
